*~*~* September 2015 Mummies *~*~*

I have a couple of tv shows to catch up on later. Just done dinner and washing up and cleaned kitchen. That seems enough for the spurt of housework haha!
We can't have pizza here very often. When my OH is here its easier. But I don't really like pizza and my son isn't keen either. It's a shame because sometimes I actually really fancy a pizza! Lol
Oh my, sounds like you have been busy Tessa! I could actually really do with a bit of your motivation? When I mopped the floors which was last Sunday now I was hoping I could get away with not doing them again lol. Wrong time of year for that with the Garden always in use and people coming in and out of our house. It's such a struggle but I will have to do that again in the morning. It may well bring on my labour!

Michelle, I've not idea why I'm not preparing it. I think because I lost my list for the bag, I haven't been motivated to get another. I do have all of babies bits in there though. Enjoy baby cuddles tomorrow :)

Last time we went to hospital we took brunch bars and easy snacks and didn't eat any of them! I got given hospital food and cake and my OH had a bit of that cake. Then fr about 3 days after he was here we just kept forgetting to eat :-)

Gilly, sounds fab! (Other than the pain) any idea when you can leave? X

No idea yet, no one wants to commit to much but I'm hoping for Tuesday, before would be a bonus though!! Xx

Gilly it sounds like you and the girls are doing amazing ~ well done you! Enjoy those chocs when you get a chance! Kelly sounds like you have the perfect evening lined up!

I thought I would get out the bath and be back to it but actually managed another hour and I am done in. Oh is getting a bit stressy with me I thibk but am now on the sofa... Can't even contemplate moving. There is always tomorrow x

There is indeed tomorrow! Relax :) I've decided to go sort out the moses basket before putting little one to bed :) I've washed her sheets and blankets so I'm just gonna set it up and ready :)

What do you all have for babies sleepwear? Last time it was August and my son slept in a vest and sleep suit and a blanket. He never liked being swaddled. X

I will just be using sleep suit and cellular blanket to start with but I also have a 0-6 month sleeping bag for when it gets colder as my daughter would never keep her blankets on so we used sleeping bags so bought a couple for little man in anticipation :)

Enjoy the choccy Gilly, glad all is going well apart from the pain and fingers crossed you will be home v soon!

Tessa I don't blame you for putting your feet up now, enjoy the rest as sounds like it is well deserved today!

Michelle I would defo recommend banoffee for your list, me and OH have polished off the lot already lol

We did that and I think we will do the exact same again. The sleeping bags were amazing :)

I've just set up moses basket and put the blankets in it ready to be used yay :-) xx

We have a few blankets but went to bags as soon as weight would allow! So much easier.

Banoffee pie is on the list lol.

My bump hurts/aches tonight not sure if it was the swimming earlier or just rushing around this morn doing to much.

Maybe you have been having BH but not noticed it? I know after BH my bump always really aches or feels a bit sore for a while.

OMG just had a bath and found shaving my legs so hard, honestly I think that might be the last time I manage it until baby is born, this bump is out of control!

I had BH the other day! They were awful and I never get them!
Well, can't say never now.

Haha, I struggle with my legs too! Xx

Well its defo a possibility as I never even felt contractions so I'm not likely to feel bh's!!

Its eased off now but baby's so low I keep needing the bloody loo!!

Michelle.x

We used cellular blankets with Otto and doing the same again this time. Will try sleeping bags again as they are so practical, Otto was not a fan though and hated his.
Spoke to the mw about feeding again and going to use bottles at their next one. This one seemed a bit more sensible and said it seemed silly not starting now when I was going to do it as soon as I go home anyway. They've started talking about home but they want to do repeat jaundice tests tomorrow just to make sure they haven't risen from today. Fx if they come back ok we'll be getting out of here soon!
Here's Turtle (Merryn)

Haha nice nicknames! They are so cute :D Sounds like you have a good chance of coming home soon then - yay!

Just spoke to my mum apparently Ruby has been crying and asking for me and refusing to go to bed bless her, feel really bad for her bless her cotton socks! x

Oh poor Ruby!! Poor thing. Hope she's settled now.

The nicknames are pretty accurate, when Merryn is rooting she looks just like a turtle/tortoise! Indi still has really gone hair on her cheeks, hence the Mouse name. They've got some skin to grow in to still bless them. Xx

Aww lovely pics.@kelly450 it was such a struggle shaving my legs and i even think the hair grew out faster being pregnant so past few weeks ive been epilating the legs now i just epilate once every two weeks and hair is much lighter and less. But the real challenge is keeping the downstairs clean, all blind shaving.
In bed as usual cant sleep sipping some lemonade feel the need to burp think im having heartburn/indegestiong

Love the photos Danielle!

Poor Ruby :( hope she has managed to settle.

I've been having lemonade. I tend to find that, at the moment I don't sleep very early at all. I did go through a stage of being really tired though recently. :(

Currently watching cleveland abduction. Anyone seen it? X

Aww love swooning over your girls Gilly - what cute nicknames!

Gosh I feel and see my Braxton Hicks constantly!! They say if you have more than 4 in an hour you should call triage but I'd have been in there all day every day for the past 2 weeks if I did! They wake me up in the night sometimes. They are gradually increasing in intensity and frequency - I've decided not to take RLT as thinking my uterus is getting pretty toned as it is!
No other labour ish symptoms though - in fact I'm feeling more energised than last week - cleaned out the fridge and all my wardrobes/cupboards today and threw out 3 bin bags of random clutter. Nesting in full mode!

Speaking of hair removal - I have just booked a bikini wax for Tuesday Eeek  even though I normally get waxed down there I haven't at all since being pregnant and was adamant I wouldn't (I have no shame with regards to labour/vanity ) but I was reading about the stitches/excessive bleeding etc and thought hmm from a purely practical standpoint I probably should! Oh well at least I'll have an excuse for the waddle
Xxx

Braxton hicks are a good thing. I honestly think it makes contractions more meaningful with real labour. I really struggled with my contractions and had experienced no braxton hicks. This time I've had them once and they were painful. Hoping for more.

I don't envy that bikini wax. . At all! Hahaha

Here's me, awake at 1.20am again. I used to want to be asleep by 11pm latest all the time! Xx

No doubt my son will wake up at 6 or a one thing in the morning x
