Induction is at 12 days over here.

Well I have put a beef casserole in slow cooker this morning and just about to make some bread using bread maker so I at least I don't have to do much in terms of getting dinner ready later. Bad back pain this morning and a few cramps, baby very quiet this morning so just trying to take them all as positive signs that my body is moving in right direction even if labour is another couple of weeks away x

I've had some terrible cramps today that have really taken my breath away!

Just a quick update from Dan before I catch up properly. (All 3 molligs are asleep and I've stuck tea in the slow cooker so have 2 mins). They've been keeping her in as her pulse was high and they wanted to scan for clots, Dan was due to be transferred to the Royal today to have the scan done but....

Doctor just came to see me, he said I've been over diagnosed and was really apologetic. Don't need the scan so getting discharged anytime soon x x x

Happy days! Her little family will be home soon. x

I may be avoiding my mum for a few days

"How are you feeling today"
"Good thanks"
"Oh, that's a shame. How did you sleep?"
"Really well, best sleep in weeks."
"Oh. That's a shame."

During our beach walk she also suggested I walked on the more wobbly path, did some jumps, let the dog pull me on the Lead, choose a herbal tea that would bring on labour, and you should have seen her face light up when the lady next to us in the cafe said she was a nurse! She said "you could do with her giving you a sweep!" Yes mum, or we could just let the poor lady drink Her tea.

I am honestly feeling quite positive about going overdue, and thinking she will come when she is ready and in the meantime at least I am happy and feeling ok. My mum thinks it's the worst thing EVER! For her.

Thanks ladies! Here's Quick question - I'm a bit confused about nursing bras. I haven't had one fitted yet as I was waiting to see if my boobs change size but they haven't and I have no sign of any milk! Due on 19th Should I get one fitted now or wait a bit longer? And my back size has gone from a 32 to a 40 at the moment will this go back down quickly should I get smaller?! I'm a bit lost on this.. Thanks x

You can get measured from 37 weeks, so defo go asap, but maybe just buy a few while you wait and see how you go with feeding?

Ha yes very positive today... But then the sun is shining!! Willl prob totally change my mind by tomorrow! X

Haha tessa! Love that! My mum is the same, but in a good way. She makes stupid suggestions. But that's because she really wanted baby here before she went away today.

Got in with midwife at 1.30 and had a sweep. 2-3 cm now but induction booked for 16th x

Glad you are more dilated now Kelly and at least you know in worst case scenario you will go into labour next Wednesday although I will be surprised if you don't give birth before that xx

My baby is still 2/5 engaged. I though to be 3cm baby would have to be 0/5?

Kelly I am only 2/5 too. Not really sure what that means in terms of when labour starts, especially when its your second! X
