No I didn't get anything with him. No signs at all until my waters broke and were a little bloody. Didn't even get BH with him!
It's definitely positive but I know how gutted I'll be when it dies down soon x

Do you know what made me laugh earlier, I remembered how the the day Purple said she wasn't having any labour symptoms at all and wished she would just suddenly get broken waters and give birth after 6 hours and what happened - she suddenly got broken waters and her labour was less than 6 hours long! Lol that girl is psychic!!!! xx

Oooh, it's getting exciting in here! Congratulations everyone! Starting to get jealous,as I may end up an October mummy yet!

Nothing going on for me, although baby is super low, 1/5 palpable, so heading in the right direction, and I think I may be getting some BH...never had them with my daughter, so I can't be sure...she was induced at term +12, so I'm prepared to go overdue again. X

Quick question for all the ladies that have given birth before be it recently or a while ago - do you remember if your baby went quiet before labour kicked off or did they keep their normal movements? Just curious as with Ruby she went quiet for 2 days before she was born but this little man is still an absolute wriggle bum so I am thinking I won't go into labour anytime soon unless it can be normal for baby to still move like a mad'un x

I dont remember with my son but he was induced. This time she went mental 3 days before then suddenly went very quiet. Things are sounding so good for you! Surely you can have long left!!!! Xx

Really hope I don't Hun but got horrible feeling I am going to go terribly overdue just because I did with Ruby. Been up since 4 as baby decided to have a rave in my belly and (tmi) been feeling like I need to poo really bad for hours but nothing lol x

H neither of mine changed there movements at all even in Labour they were still active just not massive moments but defo wiggled.

I'm finding things so much easier this time round so far but I think that's coz daddy's here to help still at the moment!! I prob will struggle to find time to log on when he's back in two weeks. But hopefully u will all of had ur babies by then!!

Tessa r u due anymore scans at all?

H, her wishful thinking worked. I wish mine would! even more depressed today. Woke up so many times last night. Can hardly move as pressure down below is causing so much pain. Lots plug all night and have backache but nothing exciting happening.

It can't be long now surely, Kelly. Everything seems to be pointing towards labour being imminent!
Glad you're finding it ok Michelle, I reckon you'll be surprised when your hubby goes back. I have about an hour around lunchtime when things go nuts and everyone wants feeding but other than that it's fine. xx

Morning all.

Kelly sounds like we had a very similar night. I was woken up a few times with pains so decided at quarter to 3 to get up and see if things would properly ramp up... They did not. This must be slow labour but it is bloody annoying! Let's just get going baby girl!!! Hoping for some good news at sweep this afternoon!

No Michelle no more scans now.

If baby would be nice she would come today. I didn't want her to come today as we get married 9th September next year. But, my mum goes on holiday in the morning and gutted she is going to not be around until baby girl is a few weeks old.

Tessa, good luck at sweep this afternoon I hope it kicks it all off! Feel like I should just hibernate in bed all day! X

Fingers crossed for some more babies soon. It's my due date today. Think we need to step up eviction operation. Maybe hubby will get lucky tonight walking seems to help too so need to get pounding the pavements x

Michelle, glad you are coping well and I am sure you will be fine once hubby back at work. Have you managed to get into a semi routine yet or are baby feeds all over the place?

Hope you don't go so overdue this time nicnax, I was 9 days overdue with my daughter and it was torture so can't imagine going even further over!

yea she has got into a sort of routine bless her n sleeps pretty well at night so we r all getting sum sleep so that's good. Still can't believe she's here n how tiny she is.

Just had a text from Danielle.

Hi ladies, sorry I'm really not keeping up so asked dan to share for me. We're still in hospital, Ella is fine and really healthy. My pulse was still high last night but has dropped massively today, so ready to go home as feel completely well in myself but doctors are being a bit over cautious in letting me out. Think it's being a first time mum.
Iron level bloods comeback fine, ones checking for infection were a little bit higher then normal but nothin to worry about. Doctors seem fine with me its one particular midwife that isn't comfortable discharging me - suppose she's just doing her job (or she doesn't want to see Ella go haha)

Hope you're all doing okay and I'm so sorry if I've missed anything! Love you all xxxx

Happy due date Katherine!
Aw we should have got all got chatting last night - I was up from 3am - 5:30 with cramps and mild contractions too! Finally managed to doze for a couple of hours until 7:30.
It's not all in vain though - saw M/W this morning - she examined me and I'm now 3cm dilated and cervix paper thin - she felt me have 2 contractions whilst I was there and said you are definitely in 'latent labour'.
I've got induction booked for 17th Sept but she said she'd be extremely surprised if I made it that far! Just watch my little boy take that as a challenge now ...

Trying not to get excited but feeling a lot more positive after that and it's at least nice (for all of us) to know that the labour pains stopping and starting isn't in vain - each episode is a step closer to delivery!
And apparently normally the longer/slower your body prepares in this early phase the more prepared your body is/shorter the active phase! Keep smiling ladies
