I was thinking the same summer, september mummies seem to be having fairly straightforward labours.... So far! Long may it last!

My cramps are still there but have died down. I honestly thought things may have proper kicked off by now when I woke up this morning. Back cramps were really quite painful last night, and then when my tummy joined in, and with the pains going right up to the top of bump I was really hopeful, especially with the blood staining this morning. Thought the 8th would be a lovely day to have a baby! Ah well, sweep tomorrow so I shall aim for my due date on Thursday ~ two on their due date would be pretty impressive right?! Ha xx

Yeah he calmed down now lol think the England game will help haha! I made a joke last week that baby will arrive tonight as Ruby started coming during a football game too so we are half expecting a sudden birth hahaha. Got loads of back pain and cramping tonight so things are moving in right direction still even if I end up overdue x

Quick question for all the ladies that have given birth before be it recently or a while ago - do you remember if your baby went quiet before labour kicked off or did they keep their normal movements? Just curious as with Ruby she went quiet for 2 days before she was born but this little man is still an absolute wriggle bum so I am thinking I won't go into labour anytime soon unless it can be normal for baby to still move like a mad'un x

I've been wondering the same H. I'm sure my daughter wasn't really active prior to labour - can't remember feeling movements after labour had started but I'm sat here now, 6 days overdue and my stomach is still pulling allsorts of weird and wonderful shapes! If they do go a bit quieter I'm not going into labour tonight either! Ha ha! Xx

My son was quiet before labour last time. This time, movement hasn't slowed down really so maybe labour isn't close by x

Belle moved as normal until about half hour before I had a big bloody show. That half hour she had total frantic movements. This one was really quiet uesterday, been better today but still on the quiet side xx

Pains from sweep have ramped up again. Just had some more bloody show. It's like being pregnant for the first time as I didn't experience this then! Lol exciting! X

Did you not get a bloody show with your son? Did you just lose it in active labour?
