New mums weight loss thread - **weigh in on Fridays**

Wow didn't realise it was 3000! Just thought 500 more so around 2200-2500?
Either way I tried calorie counting for 2 weeks at the 2200-2500 mark and gave up cake and chocolate and Fin didn't put on much weight over those 2 weeks so I've binned the idea of loosing weight until he is not needing my milk.
I do exercise regularly mind-walking dogs for 1-2 hours each day.

I just checked with my doctor and she said yes, about 3000 is right, but that i could benefit from less fatty stuff in those calories and so I'm going to try to cut the crisps completely and limit the chocolate, but still consume as many calories just get it from better things.
 
You can also still burn those extra cals you need to eat. And healthy cals are better than un-healthy cals. For example 1 bar of chocolate is about 260 cals, instead of that you could have a banana (100) a yogurt (100) and an apple (50)

Exactly! And I'm going to do just that - as soon as i polish off this left over pizza :oooo:
 
Well, I was feeling rather smug that i probably didn't need to join this thread, but after stepping on the scales at 2am this morning, I'm hanging my head and jumping on the bandwagon!

I weighed:
Before pregnant 8 1/2 stone
Full term 10 stone
After baby 9 stone (I figured 1/2 stone weight gain was no problem)
At 2am this morning (baby 7 weeks old) 9 stone 4 lb.

I had dropped a couple of pounds since LO was born, but it looks like I've put on half a stone in the past couple of weeks! I've got into some eating habits which I haven't had for years (when I used to weight 10stone and wasn't pregnant!) and I don't want to go back there!

I don't really want to diet as such while breastfeeding, so I'm here to try to cut out the chocolate and biscuit eating and to try to snack on healthy food! I guess I'd ;ike to be around 8 stone 10 lb by end of April / mid-May.

I've had a baaaaad few days. Thinking of starting again properly on Friday. That way my weigh ins work with this and my syns start at the weekend and not beginning of week!

Expecting a + next to my name come Friday :(

MIL is coming midday and I really want a cheese toastie lol.

I drank a Frijj milkshake which is advertised as 1.5% fat when I was shopping, turns out that's 10 weight watchers points!!! I'm only meant to have 29 in a day!!
 
At least we r all struggling together !!! Lol had a good day yesterday and doing ok so far today !! Want to lose 3 ib this week to get my stone award on mon !! Still got such a long way to go !!! Xxx


 
i was happy with my steady weight loss....but got on scales this morning and have put 3lb back on!!! grrrrrrr

i do think possibly af is going to appear anyday....cos i just feel a bit bleurgh and very faint cramps.....and baby born 6 weeks ago so about due one! so that could explain the increase or it could be all the chocolate! ha ha whoops...
