New mums weight loss thread - **weigh in on Fridays**

If you guys are happy with a monthly testing thread I would suggest that we use 30 March weigh in as our start weight?

I also think keep this thread going with tips and bad/good days and stuff?

I'm up for the 30th still sticking to my weight watchers in the meantime. Did OK today but went shopping so late I didn't check the points I was eating and went into 1 weekly pro-points :(

Stocked up on zero point jelly and going to make some zero point soup if I ever get the time.

Read this article in the daily mail about 4 minute workout, and am going to try this video out tomorrow, might get the 9 yr old to time me.
 
I. Think I was somewhere between 9st and 9 1/2st before I got pregnant. I'd ideally like to get back to 9st. I think I'm about 10 1/2 now. After I had Ben and went back to work, I was so manically busy I went down to 8st through stress. Would love to healthily get to that but not in the same way as last time.
 
30th is fine b me I've lost 12.5 ib so far though !!! That's in 12 weeks so coming off slowly !!! Back in the zone and lost 3 ib this week ! Am going to struggle a little this week as for my first night out on fri !! It's a all u can eat Chinese and few drinks after !! Can't get too drunk as have the kids next day as oh working but looking forward to letting my hair down !!! Xxx


 
Wahoooo - Im gunna join this now seeing as I can do a decent walk again and can actually manage to get to an excersise class now. Just need to go to boots to get weighed...I dont have a pair of scales...

But...deffo noticed some love handles and my thighs are abit wobbly.

Things im going to do:
Only have one chocolate bar per day. - Im sometimes muching, 2 creme eggs and a few peices of toblerone a day
Ban crisps - having one per day.
Try to go one walk a day n adult swim on sunday morns.
Altho...I dunno hw much I weigh- the main thing is jelly belly.
was 9.5 at 8 wk appt n guessin about11now.

Hey girls... Good luck with each of your post baby weight loss :) I was planning on joining you but got on the scales and only have 1lb to go til pre-preggo weight and back in all my normal clothes :shock: I am still at my heaviest ive ever been without a baby but since I am breastfeeding LO I don't want to decrease calories and risk him not getting what he needs. Once I stop bf (whenever that happens) I would like to lose 1 stone.
 
my main issue is I really REALLY love eating :p The stuff I eat is generally healthy enough but I just eat lots of it. My goal will be to reduce portion size, and no snacking in the evening (unless its fruit). I generally walk quite a bit but going to up the tempo from a leisurely stroll to a march and might start weighing the buggy down with stuff to make it harder :p

I'm not going to be home until Sunday evening so I can't weigh myself until then! I'm thinking since I've been so ill here I MUST have lost weight! I ate two slices of pizza yesterday, 2 small bowls of soup the day before, and two spinach pastries the day before that so I've hardly been stuffing my face, I've had zero appetite, my dad has just been forcefeeding me so I have some energy to look after caleb!

Yes I eat my food in twos... I've had OCD since I was a child, really trying to get out of it, but I let myself do the little things!

So my starting weight will have to be on Monday morning xx

Oh I would like to join too! I weighed 130lbs prepregnancy and went up to 165lbs. I am now 142lbs. Hoping the weather warms up here soon so we can go for walks! It is still around 0 degrees here lately!
 
Oh dear, I was going to do it in stones but i realise some people might work in kilos or what ever? Does everyone mind if we just do stone and oz's?
 
I don't mind doing stones lol... I will look up the conversion :)

I've always aimed to start on 1st April, thought April Fools Day was fitting loool

I put on alot of weight with my 1st LO, I went from 8 stone to 15 stone by the time she was 3, because I did absolutely nothing about my weight & kept eating. So....I went on to lose 5 stone. Got down to 10, just before I fell pg with Kayden I went back up again to 12 & now I weigh 14 ish (only put on 2 during pregnancy)

My ideal weight is 8/9 stone (im only 5ft 2) So I have 5/6 stone to lose but would be happy to lose 3 by summer.

I'm going back on calorie counting. I did well on 1000-1200 cals per day, and lost 5 stone in 8 months. So i'm gona do the same, never been one for exercise, but dont mind a couple of times on the exercise bike, couldn't do the gym tho.

Good luck everyone, i'll be starting in a few days

without sounding like doom and gloom, arent those of us breast feeding supposed to eat 3000 calories a day?
