Hope the inductions are all progressing well.

I'm back from triage. Had bubs monitored, bp checked and bloods run. Bubs trace was lovely, my bp had come back down and bloods all normal. She gave me a stretch and sweep so just got to wait and see if I go into labour now.

I've got to have my bp monitored over the weekend though, just in case it creeps back up again.

im better now thanks shes a.dream hardly cries has her milk amd goes back to sleep lol im in alot of pain still in recovery waiting to go up to the ward because my bp was a bit high after birth so they have put me on bp tablets

I'm still getting contractions one was super super painful wishbone had gas and air for that one. They keep coming in clusters for an hour or two then disappearing for a few hours. I'm on my 3rd cluster of today. I'm hoping the clusters get closer together or I go into unmistakable labour. This sorta feels like latent stage but then it will go. Ery, sounding promising.

Contractions are stronger and more frequent. They take the pessary out around 11:30 and will check my cervix then. If I'm dilated enough to have my waters broken, they'll break them and move me to the labour ward. Hoping that happens. Otherwise it's a 12 hour wait as they'll give me the gel to get me to dialate further. They'll do that twice. If that doesn't work then it can be a complete repeat, the drip or a c-section. I'll say one thing- I ain't doing this again, so if this induction cycle fails they better give me the drip or a section.

Yeah, I'm booked in for Saturday. That'll be +12 days. I'm really hoping to avoid that though. I have been getting some mild contractions though and I think I'm already 1cm, so if I am induced I'm hoping they only need to break my waters and I can stay at the birthing Centre.

No luck and that damn thing has me so bloody sensitive. That has to have been the worst exam ever- so sensitive and the force needed to reach my cervix as it's still high and not dilated for breaking waters. As contractions have been stronger and regular they won't administer gel for a few hours as they monitor me. I'm already to the point where I want to take that damn gel and all these bloody steps and shove it up their arses. I'd gladly have an epic and the drip or a c-section at this point. After all of this, how do they expect you to have energy for labour? Seriously. I'm getting no sleep.

I'm waking up once an hour it a painful contraction now. Had so many labour dreams lol

No gel yet but it's coming. Last monitoring showed 3 contractions in 10 mins. I took some pain pills to get som sleep, so got a good 3.5 hours before contractions woke me again. Then just passed out again when mw came to put me on monitor. Since those painful contractions, I've been up and moving and whilst tightening was felt, far less pain. Just laid back down and can feel them again now.

Waiting on them for gel and so took a quick shower and had a little walk. With the pessary out I feel so much better. It made me so sensitive that even going for a wee was unpleasant. Hopefully now that the sensitivity has died down the gel insertin won't be nearly as bad as the exam I had when they removed the pessary. Fingers crossed the gel works first time and our little boy arrives today.

Upside is there is a lovely lady across from me who so far has reacted the same to the pessary, so it's been nice to have someone to commiserate with over the news. Chatting has helped to pass time as well.

I'm glad you're feeling better now it's out kabuk I can't wait til the morning. So I can at least have a few distractions. What pain pills did they give you. I feel like I'm nearing my tolerance without relief. I've been debating a paracetamol fir a while.
