Keeping calm and relaxed can help you to cope with the contractions or tightenings. It will also help your body to release the hormone oxytocin, which you need for your labour to progress.
This could mean watching your favourite film, going for a walk, pottering around at home, or asking a friend or relative over to keep you company. You could alternate between walking and resting, or try taking a warm bath or shower to ease any aches and pains. If you can, try to get some rest to prepare you for the work ahead.
For breast feeding, it's really important to feed overnight as that's when the prolactin hormone that helps with milk supply is at it's highest. Ideally you should exclusively bf and get established before introducing bottles etc. Breast milk is produced on a supply and demand basis so each time baby feeds they are stimulating your breasts to produce the amount they need and therefore each time you give a bottle and baby doesn't feed, it can interfere with supply. You should feed baby on demand as much as baby wants in the early days to get milk supply established. At least that's what I remember about bf!!

You want a pump with 0%back flow so it's much easier to clean
Either the medulla swing or the tommee tippee one.
I just brought the tomeee tippee one it cones with a steriliser and a bottle or two and it's half price at toys r us atm
And 100% agree with what Emily said above x I plan to exclusively bf and express as well in the down time (I'm gonna be like a cow lol) to build up a healthy freezer store ready for when we go combination feeding after shout 4 weeks
Lovely bump kabuk.
I am so crampy and in quite alot of pain, I just want a hot water bottle but can't. The sweep has certainly done something but it will be annoying if it is just going to make me feel like this up until Wednesday as I can't do much, in too much discomfort.
Had more spotting too, its mucusy so I am assuming its tiny bits of the plug. I hope this baby comes soon as this is not manageable for 5 more days!! xx
