May 2018 Mummies....Tri 2

Nope can keep that I had enough with cold and chest infection for 3 weeks last month lol

Just been and had my whooping cough vaccine arms stinging a little now but the needle didn't hurt like the flu jab did xx

My arm doesn't hurt just can see needle mark the flu jab my arm throbbed a day or two I expected same with this but nothing stung a little as I walked out the doctors but soon went, I didn't really know what it did but she told me yesterday that it goes straight into Willow and will protect her till she's 8 weeks old and ready for her first vaccinations xx

Wow, actually just saw my tummy move for the first time, to be fair it was the hardest kick yet!

lol, with my little boy it used to look like a volcano was rising up out of my belly when he stretched

Morning all. Just caught up with posts.

Sorry things aren’t great, Liz re: midwife stuff. It’s such a post code lottery isn’t it? Hope you feel more settled with the new one soon x

Hope the SPD eases Holli. Not sure what it is but if it’s like the other pregnancy stuff it won’t be pleasant.

Jealous of you all feeling kicks and punches. Nothing like that for me. I’m only 18w tomorrow though so a little behind some of you. Get flutterings now and again though which feel weird and comforting.

Woke up this morning feel happy. Hubby is home today (missed him the last two days when he was down visiting family in southport). I managed to submit a report to my boss before work finished yesterday so feel accomplished there and now can chill for a week. Off to a party with my dance friends tonight. It’ll be fun but hope I last til pumpkin o’clock this year haha.

Off to get new bras today. I’ve ballooned this week and they’re definitely too tight now! Big boobs! Haha!

Hope you all have w good weekend xx

i'm only just now beginning to feel more than flutters. So much for feeling it sooner with latger pregnancies! I'm glad though because i got booted to pieces last time. Hopefully this baby will be a bit more gentle on me....

Luckily I was still wearing my maternity bras!

Make sure you get bras bigger than what you are now because they will grow bigger! Even your ribcage may expand more so its not just the cup that you need room in

I only got one bra today. Went to Debenhams and the lady helped. It’s a nursing bra but it was more comfortable than anything else. I may need another later but the bigger one felt wrong. I got some expanders though for my bras to see what I can get out of them until I get to a bigger store (wasn’t much choice).

Thanks x

Just to say happy Christmas to everyone. It's a bit rubbish not being able to have a glass of wine though eh!

Have a lovely Christmas every one, I don't really drink so that's not a factor for me - lane on the other hand is drinking rum and coke right now smells rank xx

I haven’t missed drinking until the last few weeks, I love mulled cider and mulled wine and having festive drinks out with friends. But it’s all worth it, this time next year we’ll all have our babies!

Merry Christmas everyone xxx

Is there no alcohol free wines ect you could have ladies?

I know next Christmas we will have a 7 month old with us can't wait :-) xx

Nah, what's the point in a glass of wine if not to help you fall asleep lol

I'm not a big drinker but its just nice to have a glass to wind down. I never drank at all until I had my daughter so Holli this time next year you may be looking forward to a glass of wine too ha ha

It's very exciting :-)
All the Christmas cards we have pretty much say this is that Christmas as a 2 and next Christmas we will celebrate as a 3 I'm hoping to breast feed as long as I can so I might not be able to have a cheeky drink depending how she goes with it xx

Merry Christmas to all the lovely Mummies to be! I hope you have all had a fabulous day filled with love, happiness and laughter. My husband and I have had a lovely day. Lazy morning before collecting my parents and heading to my sister and brother-in-law’s for dinner. FaceTimed the in laws and my sister in Australia.

Hubby did me good today. I got some much needed maternity items (winter coat for one), the Twin Willow Tree figures (which made me cry) and has booked us a night at the most amazing hotel in February in a beautiful room. He has booked us dinner and for me to be pampered at the spa with a maternity package. He says I deserve it and that he wants us to have a fabulous mini break before the girls land as we had to cancel our planned holiday with friends in summer.

All the best and hope you’re all well xx

Aww thats lovely CJ!

Had a good, but quiet day here. Eldest was a bit under the weather which was a shame for her, baby was in fine form. Hubby and I both rather sleep deprived....house is a state , honestly i dont know how anyone with a mobile baby keeps a tidy home....! will attempt to tidy a bit today.....
