I was having labour dreams last night, hoping it’s a sign!! But then every tiny thing I’m hoping is a sign, it’s like waiting for a bfp all over again!

I am still having good nights and bad... Last night was tough as he fed every 2 hours for 1 hour at a time from 5pm till 8am this am.... I keep wondering when I will have 2 nights in a row that are more settled. I know BF babies feed when they want and how they want but I am exhausted now as jad to hit ground running with my low haemaglobin and just feel so fatigued. I am enjoying my cuddles and I feel so in love with Felix it terrifies me!!

@Sunrise212 no I went all the way over with ds, was in very early stages of labour when I was due in for induction so just ended up with waters broken and drip. been told I’m likely to go earlier this time / be induced early due to the extra fluid. Scan and consultant Tuesday! Really wanted to go naturally but I reckon that’s wishful thinking. If I have the drip I’m defo getting an epidural!

Yup, sweep 2 is just before lunch, and they'll book my induction at the same time. I've told them I want a pessary induction same as last time, so for that! I'm so conflicted as I'm totally done with being pregnant and just want to meet our LB but why wont my body just give birth naturally already I did it less than 2 years ago, it's supposed to remember these things!

Final growth scan went well. Extremely confused. Baby is now measuring 7lb 13oz. 12 days ago he was 6lb 1oz. 4 weeks ago he was 5lb 4oz. Not sure whether they have the previous scan measurements wrong or whether this one is wrong. But everything looked good with baby. Fluid is normal and placenta is good. Just my consultant appointment tomorrow. Which means I’ll be getting induced at 39+ weeks now due to growth being good.

So exhausted with these hospital visits and lack of sleep. Just want baby here now.

Glad scan went well! I’ve got mine and consultant appointment tomorrow. Feel like baby has dropped even further today, been eating lots and fell asleep on sofa this evening. Is this my body’s way of storing energy for delivery?! Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

They reckon they can be up to 1lb out either way @Sunrise212 - but all growth is good! Sounding very positive.

Oh I did! Cant believe i didnt mention that on here. Baby brain... I'm being induced tomorrow morning. They tried booking me in to stay on the ward but I pushed hard to be an outpatient the same as my first, as I feel quite anxious about spending too much time away from the first born (ridiculous, he will be fine but hes a mamas boy!)

That’s exciting @Summerwine a baby by weekend?

I’m going to push for an induction date on Thursday.

I feel really heavy between my legs but bump is still high, was hoping it would happen naturally but not sure now.

I had my consultant appt this morning. Blood pressure is high today. I’ve been referred back to the main hospital for a blood pressure profile again. I’m getting induced at 39 weeks, just as I thought. I thought the consultant was avoiding induction and they I told them my concerns and worries of baby having reduced movements. They explained they don’t like to induce before then unless the baby is at risk due to having a failed induction causing complications. They told me if my blood pressure is still high today, they will be inducing me earlier than 39 weeks. They haven’t yet booked the induction, I have to do that while I’m at the hospital later on.

I’ll be 39 weeks next Tuesday! I have to go to the hospital for 2pm today and I will either book for next week or earlier depending on what my blood pressure says. I’m feeling ok about it, feeling a bit more at ease than before because I know I’ll be having my baby next week. But also scared at the same time as I would of liked to have gone naturally. Just got to keep an eye on movements this week and hopefully he’s a good boy for his mammy!

Looks like we’ll have 2 babies by the weekend! Induction booked for Friday! They would have taken me in today but f they had space but first available slot is Friday.
We can’t stop laughing, ds was induced on fri 13th March 5 years ago and born on the 14th. Looking like they may share a birthday or very close!

Cant believe our little Connie is 10 days old already.

Have any of you ladies had to inject yourself with blood thinners after a c section/ labour?
Ive come out in an awful rash all over my body and think it would be due to the injections. Got drs appointment at 4pm as irs so red, itchy and is everywhere!

Just haf midwife over to remove stitches. Shes said the stitch is nice and neat. I havent looked at it yet.

Ive attached pics of my rash if anyone has had this before...its even on my fuff
