*** march 2015 mummys to be ***

I'm excited for one born too! Hope it sets someone off into labour! X

Me me me please! Had a couple of periody pains last night after sweep but nothing further! I don't know how much lower he can get before he falls out...maybe I will just sneeze and he will arrive??!! Walking loads today trying to get gravity to do its thing.
X

Am I the only one who won't be watching OBEM? I think I might have a freak out if I do lol.
Ooh Niknaknoo, if sneezing works then let us know ;) xx

Ladies what the rules generally on swelling?! Fingers are swollen and achy when I try and bend them. Feet are puffy and I have cankles!! Bubba hasnt moved muxh this afternoon/evening....

Is the swelling sudden hun? Does your face feel puffy at all? If you're worried it's totally worth ringing your MAU. Xx

Face isnt puffy. Its not a sudden swelling but it has gpt worse along with the achy feeling. Have had feet raised today as well and still swollen. I know you can get swollen at this point...but was wanting to see what people think. But hubby wants me to ring and just get advice

That's what they're there for. It's totally worth it for your own peace of mind xx

I'm sure there is no harm in ringing for advice! I would x

Lanny I'm with you on that! I watch Call the Midwife, that's as realistic as I want it to get.

Worth ringing just for peace of mind if nothing else. My midwife checks for swelling every time I see her so it must be important enough to monitor.

Hope your ok rachelb, I would also ring for advise. Today I've been in agony walking around, went to the mall and only made it to two shops! Came home and put my feet up! X

Glad it's not just me Olya!
Rachel definitely ring your midwife, it's better than worrying :) I have swollen fingers and feet most of the time but the midwife has always told me if my face gets swollen or I feel unwell to ring them. Xx

Hello girls! Cough is not letting me sleep at the moment, so here I am :)

As it's after midnight, I can say that hubby should be back home today :) In about 20 hours or so. Hang on little baby for at least as long please!

Ha now I must be the only March mummy hoping that her baby doesn't come just yet! :)

I'm awake too. Bump is being so bloody active and it's not letting me sleep. After a few pains and things this evening I'm also full of this feeling of "oh my god it's going to happen today" even though nothing different or significant has happened! Add the two together and I'm wide awake! If my intuition is right I really ought to be getting some sleep but I'd need a certain someone to stop practising aerobics on my bladder for that to happen.

Perhaps lying here with my eyes closed and trying to force myself to sleep will work! Fingers crossed eh?

Bless you Podpie! Hope bubba has calmed down and you are asleep! And hope your intuition is right! Would be awesome.

I just had a freakie moment. I know my husband should be up by now on the way to the airport, so I texted him and he wouldn't respond. I got worried that he might have overslept or smth, tried calling him and could not get through! Started worrying big time, but then he texted back at last saying that everything is fine and he is at the airport :) phew! Can't wait to have him returned to me.

Wide awake here too and really annoyed! My son was off from school yesterday with a slight cough but that had kept him awake the night before, so I kept him off so he could catch up on sleep. At the weekend he had a friend over for a sleepover, last time for a while I figured before baby was here. So I arranged the week before with this friends mum for him to catch the train with the kids, mentioned I was heavily pregnant so wasn't going to be doing much for the weekend but he was welcome anyway. So before bed last night I check on my son and he'd got into bed and was burning up and a bit delirious (talking rubbish!). So I set him up a bed next to the sofa in the lounge so I could sleep next to him and keep an eye on him. He is much better now but has just informed me his friend had been off from school all week with a nasty bug only coming back on Friday so he could still come to the sleepover!!! I am so bloody annoyed! Not only does my son now feel rubbish but we could all get it and I have to be in hospital for the induction on Monday. Why are some parents so selfish, I wouldn't even think about doing that if my child was ill :(

Morning ladies. Im wide awake after a sleepless night. Went up to hosp last night. Baby is moving but im nkt feeling her move!! Had a sweep and they want to induce me. Sent me home as no space for today. Induction booked for tomorrow. Got to go back this afternoon for ctg or to ring if im still not feeling her. Xxxx

Awww God demaris that is pretty selfish and stupid! Hope it was more the stupid on the mothers part! I m also worried about bugs and horrid viruses that my boy picks up at this late stage, he isn't well again at the moment but hoping he will get better soon.

I'm wide awake having being woken at 5.45 by the dog crying. He doesn't normally wake up and cry so no idea what that was all about.

Aww rachelb hope your ok and feel baby soon, sorry you had a rubbish night.
X

Morning. Think I managed a couple hours sleep. Was convinced something was going to happen and whenever I drifted off my dreams were full of waters breaking and other things happening. I don't know why I was so sure it would be today. I guess I still have 17 hours to be correct lol.

Sorry to hear you had a bad night Rachel. I'm sure you'll feel baba soon. Are they worried about her movements at all or just that you can't feel them? Exciting stuff that you have an induction booked! You get to meet your little one sooner rather than later :)

Think our thread must be the most active at night time with all us heavily pregnant ladies struggling to sleep lol. Let's hope we all have a nice relaxed day to recover.
