I live n nireland. So id say england will be gettn some soon.
I think I get extra scans due to being consultant led. So I think il get scanned 38weeks and then be back at 40weeks. And hoping they will do a sweep then on due date.
It is pathetically trying to snow here, we rarely get decent snow in Manchester!
I'm from n.i too ttc but been over here nearly 10 years. My mum is flying over this morning so hopefully snow doesn't affect her travel!
Due date for me today!! Let's hope we are in the 5% that arrive on time! X
Happy D Day niknaknoo....
Hopefully snow doesnt affect ur mums travel plans.. my parents are off holiday tomoro hoping they get away. They weren't going to go with me being due soon but I told them to go on.. baby isnt due for few weeks and they deserve a break after shitty year..
It will be nice for ur mum to be over with u for the new arrival. My mum was with us during our angels labour and our daugther. She was fab. This time it will be just be and OH and mum will be looking after our girl.. where are original from. Im not too far from newry.
Yep I'm glad she is going to be with us. Someone to roll my eyes at when hubby gets too soppy /hands on during labour!
I'm from Ballymena, can't say I miss it too much! But do like to get home for a visit every now and again.
Wow snow! I hope we don't get any although looking on bbc weather we do have a yellow warning for snow! Good luck for your scan Rach.
My mum is coming for a couple of days today and then mother in law staying nearby in their camper van for a couple of weeks so if baby does come in the next couple of weeks I will have childcare for my little boy!
I keep getting funny pains today, very bearable but noticeable. They come and go like like painful tightening a either side of my belly button. Don't know what that's all about!!
Scan went well. They couldnt find any reason for her reduced movements other than she is literally running out of space. Her estimated weight atm is 7lbs2oz. So am really happy xxxx
Wow, snow! It's actually quite sunny for us here, apparently it's quite cold but I wouldn't know because I'm not venturing out today lol.
Rachel and Olya, I spoke to my mw about being worried about baby being back to back. Fortunately he's not but she did say another good thing to stop it happening is sitting upright and not slouching because it encourages baba to lie the way they're supposed to. I know you're probably trying what you can to get your baba's to turn but just thought that it might help if I mention it xx
Rachel have a look on the spinning babies site. Lots of time on all 4s and no slouching. My first was back to back at 38 weeks. She kept turning though. Even in labour she turned several times. Don't panic! And a back to back labour isn't that's bad xx
Just had the midwife. They've sent me down to assessment as babes heart rate is high. I feel so hormonal I just know I am going to cry as soon as I get in there!!!
Thanks Cakey, I try to keep an eye on my posture all the time now, and I watch films and read books on all fours. Very annoying honestly saying.
Hope all is well Rachyw! My baby's hb was very high last time because my MW gave my tummy a good feel right before measuring it, and bubba clearly didn't like it. So she re-measured it 10 minutes later and it was fine hope your baby also just felt temporarily agitated for some reason x
