Ooh Chrissie you beat me to it! was going to do one tonight if no one else had! but thank you for doing it as I don't really check in often enough to host it properly!

Pretty scary we are here now! Had my GTT this morning, Its a good job I'm not a wimp when it comes to needles, my veins are awful they tried twice to get the first lot of blood and 4 times for the 2nd and it ended up coming from my hand! yuck!

Can't wait for all the March mums to be over here! xx

They have booked mine for the 8th January, is that not a bit late to have it done? They always have problems getting blood from me too, aww sorry, didn't know u were going to do one X

I'm not sure really, I only had to have one coz my dad had diabetes but that was related to his illness so I highly doubt I'll have an issue with it.
Did you phone them to try and change it? Jan Does seem quite late on to be having it done but I guess there aren't any major indicators or they would have wanted to see you sooner.

I'll be over on Thursday.

My GTT is booked for 23rd December, which I think is a bit late as originally the hospital had my dates wrong and had me a month behind what I am, so the scan date they sent me was wrong and I changed it. But they midwife told me not to worry about changing the GTT as it will be fine. Surely if there's a problem they'd rather find it sooner than later?
I'm convinced I'll have gestational diabetes because my sister had it and although my BMI Is just over the limit for when they test it can also be genetic. I'm trying my hardest to eat healthily but it's difficult when I've gone off a lot of foods!
