My scan was fine. 8 weeks 1 day exactly as predicted and heart rate of 165 bpm which is perfect. Only 1 in there too which is also a relief! Looks like a grey, malformed baked bean.

I hope the next 7 weeks flies for me because I'm not doing an early scan this time. I had so many scans the last time and with the sepsis the thought makes me shudder. So instead I'm waiting it out. Probably going to be bonkers by the end. Help meeee lol! That being said I've booked with the midwife and she's calling me tomorrow to confirm dates eeeeek

I havent specifically booked an early scan, been told to go for a scan to check the SCH.

I toyed with the idea of getting a scan at 10 ish weeks. But decided against it, only because you can have scans every other week but something can still change in the blink of an eye. I went for a reasurrance scan at 10 weeks in my last pregnancy, then was booked in for my dating scan at 11 weeks. Between the two scans my baby died. I was so sure I'd get to see bubs bouncing around as I had done a week before. So I think this time, what's the point?

Sorry to be so doom and gloom about lol. I'm very glass is half empty at the min. Roll on tri 2 maybe I'll be a little more chill and optimistic!

On the plus side, I've been getting waves of nausea for a few days now. Started off very fleeting, but today has been pretty strong almost want to throw up. I put it down to a tummy bug as my bowel movements had changed too, softer and more frequent. Turns out these can be signs of early pregnancy! So possible preg symptoms yay! xx

It's understandable, same for me I had an early one at 7-8 and heartbeat had stopped by 10. It's hard not to be doom and gloom, I keep thinking this one won't work out but I'm just trying my best not to over analyse. There's nothing we can do, it's out of our hands. I really hope go on see healthy and happy bean. Your symptoms sound promising. I am getting slightly sore boobs but maybe it's because I keep poking them. I'm not experiencing much otherwise but it sort of helps me shut off during the day which is probably not much better.

Have any of you taken any tests in the evening??

I've been bleeding past 2 days so think I'll be back at the docs if its not stopped by tomorrow.
My tests keep getting stronger even tonight so I'm hoping it's just a big implantation bleed.

Hey nicipoo,

I've taken test mid afternoon but not in the evening. Why do you ask?

Are you still bleeding? They say that old blood brown in colour is ok/normal, as long as there is no cramping. How many weeks are you? Maybe ring your community midwife and she what she/he says? X

The bleeding has got abit more and has tiny tiny clots.
So just waiting for the inevitable to happen.
Dunno what to do. Last time I had this I went to A n E and they booked me in for a scan, but dunno what to do this time.
Might just go docs and see what they say for now.

Just been to the doctor's.
They advised me to just keep an eye on it and retest next week as it's too early for anything to show yet.
Started with slight cramps about an hour ago too xx

How is everyone feeling this morning? My nipples are finally sore at 5 weeks. My insomnia is still making me super crazy and I still have a sore lower back. How you all doing? Hoping everyone is well x

I keep mioaning when my symptoms are mild because it worries me and then usually mid afternoon onwards they come back with a vengeance I’ve just started to really notice this pattern the last few days so now I’m trying to worry less in the mornings when I feel pretty normal and actually make the most of it before the Narcolepsy hits along with heartburn general quesiness and swollen boobies. Starting to feel a little more preggo! ��

I'm doing ok i think. Just trying to take one day at a time still Symptom wise they seem to come an go. One day my boobs will feel like they're about to explode then the next day they're only a little tender to the touch. I get slight waves of nausea occasionally, often when i've not eaten in a while. But nothing overly strong and no actual sickness yet. I do feel a little light headed occasionally, and i've woken up the with the biggest spots you've ever seen! I still don't really feel pregnant, more just off colour, like i've not slept properly in a while.

1 week tomorrow and i might, fingers crossed, get to see a little bean floating away on the scan.
