***June Mummies 2016 Tri 3***

Had a hospital tour this afternoon which has made me feel a bit more comfortable knowing the environment we'll be going in to. They have a room available if you want to use gym style equipment during labour which I've decided to request when we eventually go in. Surprisingly, the midwife said not many women use it! I've been active throughout the whole pg so would like to continue as it seems silly to stop now.

Been struggling to get to sleep the last few nights, I think it's because it's been so humid. Its been raining since 3pm here so the temperature has dropped which is good. I've been having weird dreams as well though which is very unlike me. I had a dream that someone was pretending to be my DH and take our baby away! I'm not much of a worrier so to have that dream was a bit bizarre!

Bump is moving around a lot more and I keep hearing pops and clicks... Not sure if that's a good thing or not lol hopefully it's her getting into position more :)

Hope everyone else is still doing well! :hugs:

Hope everything's alright lottie - not long to go now, I suppose just keep asking questions and make sure they keep in good communication with you ;-)

Alrm, I had some very weird baby related dreams in the last couple of weeks, must be part of the process lol
The hospital I'll (hopefully) end up at has a room like that too, with a rope from the ceiling and all sorts - maybe that's for the birthing in the style of Tarzan technique - must have missed that class!
I'm hoping that most of the women in leeds had their babies the other night when we were turned away from the lgi, so when it happens for real we can bloody get in... gah... will be gutted if I can't birth there. Was talking to mw about the possibility of birthing at home in that case, but she isn't keen when I haven't planned it or spoken to the home birth team... I shouldn't have chickened out of it in the first place and just hired a damn pool!
Hope you're all doing well ladies - especially those with babies or those imminent to pop ;-)
I just need to coax mine to turn a bit now and I'll be much happier for things to kick off again properly!

I am having such bad mood swings ATM. Keep getting upset or angry over really little things and I'm struggling to cope with my toddler's demands (and then feeling bad if I tell her no or get snappy with her). Not sure OH knows how to react to me either!

My daughter was born at 39+4 so we're finding it hard not to assume that this one will be here in a couple of days. Last time I would've been happy to go overdue but this time I'm wanting to get it over with! No signs that baby is getting ready yet though.

Mood swings might be a good sign Maud, hormones firing up and stuff ;-) I've done a good amount of bursting into tears the last week lol (my poor partner)

I'd like to think so. Last time I was an emotional wreck throughout the whole pregnancy (serious anxiety/stress issues) and cried an awful lot, so I've no idea if this is my body warning me it is close.

Hi ladies it's nice to come on see how everyone is doing and finding out about all your bumps. I still have a massive belly hoping it's the swelling and water retension. I also have been super emotional the last few days. Iv had a few digs at hubby and then felt awful. Xx

Had summer weighed yesterday before we came home and she now weights 6.7 she is so gorgeous xx

Aww... she's lovely blueclass - sounds like she's doing well.. bound to be an emotional time, baby blues and all that. You'll get well into the swing of things, and it will be just excess fluid that needs to come off - think I have plenty too, certainly on the legs! How is it recovering from the section, painful?

Haven't heard from babymaker too... I think her induction was due yesterday? Hope all's well...

 That did make me chuckle! There was a rope in the room we visited too. The mw showing us around said its really good to use for squatting during contractions and then pulling yourself back up. She also said its good to hold onto whilst sitting on a ball so you can make massive circles and rock your hips about. She was very enthusiastic about having an active labour  I quite liked her enthusiasm tbh!

Fx you'll get in to the hospital you want to Yorkslass!

Currently sat on my gym ball bouncing and rocking. Starting to get some aches in my hips but that's probably because I've got my legs sprawled out and I'm not as flexible as I used to be, not because bump is making a move  Managed to sleep straight through last night and woke up to a cooked breakfast prepared by DH which was lovely!

We're itching to meet bump now, but still no real signs that she's making a move even though she's been engaged since last week! :oooo:

It is really painful, we use our stomach muscles so much. I also still have numbness arouns the cut and above it looks pretty red and inflamed. Community mw came today and said it looked good but it dont feel it. I had back to back labour and he to say nothing but the epidural got rid of that pain. I tried using the ball but back was killing me! Hope baby makers induction is not as bad as mine.
I do have to say, my husband has been so amazing recently. He has done absolutely everything around the house, cooking, washing up, tidying and helping in the night as I can't get in and put of bed on my own. Xx love him lots xx

Well just keep resting and let hubby take care of you - I bet it will be sore for a while. It must be hard on the blokes, I know mine felt pretty helpless when I was at the peak of pain the other day! Mine's been great though too, with the constant massaging and bringing food and just doing what he can to try to make things better :-)

39 weeks tomorrow, been in 4 times in the last month for reduced movements and I think my anxiety is just making me miserable...
This is our rainbow baby, and I just want her here now...just tired of it all, and I just can't stop worrying....

I was the same hun and can definitely sympathies with you. I was induced due to reduced movements but I think K it was my anxieties which made me so paranoid. Have they talked about induction xx

Won't be long now kuku - hang on in there ;-)
Happy 39 weeks!

Going in on Friday to speak to consultant re induction...just got to get to Friday...
Think I might go see my mental health nurse tomorrow tho, due to the increased anxiety...
I had PND after Jai, so have been under her care during this pregnancy xx

It sounds like speaking to your nurse will be a good idea. I wish I'd done that very early in my pregnancy as I didn't enjoy being pregnant and always worried something would go wrong. I thought induction would help me but I'm sure you know what I went through. Induction was good as I knew she was coming but it came with its own risks... hence the emergency c section. Xx

Welp, due date today. You can come out now! No, seriously... COME OUT! Had enough this week already!

Happy Due Date Yorkslass, hope baby isn't keeping you waiting too much longer or gives you a break from all the pain xx

Happy due date Yorkslass- FX you get to meet bump soon! :hugs:
