Good luck sjenkins, hope you are having cuddles very soon xx

Oooh good luck sjenkins!!! Keep us updated. Not jealous at all;-) lovely photos by the way. seems you had your baby shower in the nick of time! Stalking for story and photos...

Good news re induction Love87! Not long to wait for baby cuddles:-)

Goid luck with sweep tomo blueclass. Hope you've progressed and it all kicks off.

Ive got sweep on thurs. just went for another long walk and the pressure down below was unreal! At one point i thought her head would pop out lol! Constant back to back braxton hicks but nothing else to report. Going to have a snooze now as im shattered! Some teenage neighbours kept us up last night riding their f'ing mopeds up and down our road at 2am!! Then hip ache kept me up. Im truly done being pregnant now!!! But at the same time the thought of caring for a newborn scares me lol! Xx

Ooh, good luck sjenkins - hoping for an update soon...
Let us know if the sweep does anything Love87, but good to hear you're excited for induction on Wednesday if it doesn't!
Hope your sweeps go well too Blueclass and Babymaker :)

Is anybody else just utterly exhausted and lethargic? I don't know if it's the low iron thing, but I'm really worried that I just don't have the energy for pushing a baby out for possibly hours. I'm just constantly flaking out! Been looking into how I can change my diet for more iron and energy, so hopefully that might help, but I think the mw might have arranged some prescription I can get tomorrow, just would rather do it by diet rather than supplements... For those who've done this before though, should I expect some surge of energy from somewhere to deal with labour?

Yorklslass, our bodies really are amazing. With my son i was 38+6 when i went into labour and was already exhausted from pregnancy. He was born 2 days later at 39+1 with no sleep in between due to constant contractions. I couldnt have managed staying up that long even in my partying days! Lol! But somehow you find the energy from somewhere. And somehow you will then find the energy to tend to a tiny little person who needs you 24/7. You will then look back a few weeks/months later and ask yourself How the hell did I manage that? Lol! Trust in your self because you are designed to do this:-) obviously, if you need iron then that is vital but once that's sorted you'll be fine. Xx

Thanks Babymaker - that's good to know! I'm sure we must get through it - we have no choice after all haha
Just having such a tired and miserable couple of days, without much sleep at night - just can't see myself capable at the moment! I'm sure it's just a brief phase - will see if my latest diet plans help... ;)

I had low iron and was given the pills buy I didn't take them. I ate so much spinach and red meat. My levels are good now so maybe try upping things like that. Iv been walking all day and feel shattered, my back is killing me from the walking. Il so don't sleep well as laying on sides hurts my hips. Last night I slept better but I was sat up with about 6 pillows. X

I'm strangely jealous that you are all still pregnant and on labour watches! I feel cheated out of the experience by Alfie coming early, so try to enjoy the last days of pregnancy lot

I can't say having a newborn helps with the tiredness and energy levels, I'm sure I'm running on empty most days. Also ftm's enjoy the help from your other half's with baby because once your on number 3 they are useless at helping especially at night!! Granted hubby is helping a bit with the older 2 boys but Alfie is solely my responsibility and it is exhausting. Sorry that ended up as bit of a rant lol Here is a pic of Alfie who is 3 weeks old tomorrow!!! (Plus one of my other 2 monkeys) xx

Aww super cute. I feel if I'm induced il miss out to, don't mind the sweeps but don't want to be in hospital. Iv done a lot of walking today and felt a couple of twinges low down. Not sure if it means anything or if it's just because of the walking. Iv just got home so going to have a hot bath as luke warm ones don't help. Also not really felt baby today hoping it's because iv been busy. Going to relax and see what happens, I don't want to go in or they will likely induce me. X

I was prescribed 3 iron tablets a day but have gone down to one since maternity started as it does bung you up.

You can up naturally, I have a smoothie in the morning of spinach, kale, pineapple, banana, strawberries and a little bit of low fat yogurt. You don't taste the spinach/kale and the fruit helps keep you regular if you take the supplement route.

Thank you blueclass :)

I really hope you can avoid induction and the sweeps work for you. Also hope baby gets a move on for you and you've just been too busy today. Wondering about movements is the one thing I don't miss but I do miss the wriggles. Think I miss it more this time because I won't do it again :( I've been ttc, pregnant or breastfeeding since Feb 2011, apart from maybe 6 months, so I feel very sad the baby days are nearly over :( xx

Aww... cuteness all round, Kanga :) I bet it's good to be getting over spd and all that kinda stuff though! I can imagine actually having the baby brings a whole new set of sleeping problems heheh

Stephylou, that smoothie sounds like one way to get everything at once! Sounds tasty too - I really should get a blender or something. Today I did a slow cooked ox cheek in a bean stew, with piles of broccoli and spinach - made me realise I hadn't had red meat in a long time too - we're more for fish around here. The staying regular is one thing I worry about with the supplements haha - trying to keep eating plenty cereals, fruits and wholegrain stuffs!

Kanga - he is so gorgeous. I just want to cuddle him!

Blueclass - I promise to keep you updated, I really couldn't handle the sweep today maybe it's because I was so tense. Really hope things progress for you.

It's all hands on deck here at the moment. Getting everything ready for baby as I have to be at hospital at 7.30 Wednesday morning. Don't think i will sleep tomorrow night.

Oh yeah it is so good to be over the spd and sciatica, I'm surprised at how quickly it eased up. I still have a bit of weakness in my right foot from the numbness but it's no longer painful. It's mainly just tiredness as I just don't get time to stop, if I'm sat down I'm feeding if not I'm sorting one of the 3 boys out or doing jobs. Even have to feed and walk sometimes to break up fights between the older two lol But no it is great and I wouldn't change it for anything :) being a mum is the best job ever if a little challenging at times xx

Good luck for your induction love87, I will be keeping an eye out for updates xx

7.30 is early I got to be at mine for 9.30 and I thought that was bad. I am grateful it's the morning though as not sure I could wait all day to find out if they will do it or not. I was a little tense but the mw was lovely and made me feel a bit better. X
