sjenkins, I know how you feel. The last few days feels like i'm back to Tri1 with feeling sick and my nipples are unbearbly painful. I've heard nipple stimulation can kick start labour but no one and nothing is getting near these bad boys

Kanga, Alfie is absolutely adorable!!! I want my baby out toooo!! I'm feeling so broody seeing all the babies popping out in May Mummies!

Anyone actively trying to get labour going? I might suggest an early night tonight with DH
With our DS we dtd on the Thursday and contractions started 24hrs later. Might have been a coincidence but will give it a shot (excuse the pun lol!)

Haha I will try tonight but it's only coz I'm desperate to not have an induction. Sex is the last thing on my mind but il give it ago. I read that you need to spend 15 mins stimulating your nippes to get it going. X

Apparently reflexology can induce labour as well? I'm still too early to try and induce labour

I asked my friend about that as she does it. She said it doesn't induce labour but it's meant to help during labour. I had heard the same so asked her to pop over and help me out.

I've been having sex, taking the dog out for a walk drinking raspberry tea, I had a show last week and lost some of my plug! Had a few false labour signs I though I was going into labour but nothing now xxx

Sounds like you are very close sjenkins! Had a few niggles earlier but nothing now. Wasnt sure if it was baby's head pushing down or very mild contractions. I bet it was yet another practice run. Seem to be good at those Tons of B.Hicks all day but i know they dont mean anything. Still, will aim for an early night and see what happens

Half way through the week now and I can't wait to finish on Friday. Last night I was uncomfortable my belly was so hard for ages it was putting pressure on my scar from my appendix. It went soft again after like 20 mins but it was not nice. Anyone else get this?
I didn't do an early night last night I was shattered so will try tonight x

Bump likes to stick her bum out for a fair bit in a morning and it can stay solid for 10mins even if I tap her to stick it back in lol Does get uncomfortable now when she does it.

Well nipple stimulation hasn't helped labour start with me so far I've ordered a gym ball so hopefully that will help move things along. I don't think I've even had any B.Hicks yet either...
Tbf I've told bump she's not allowed to come out until after next Friday because we don't want a 3rd family member having the same birthday!

Going back to spots on chin as well - I bought some Micellar cleansing water a couple of days ago now and using it in a morning and before bed has already made my face feel amazing and the spots are going.

I started washing all of bumps clothes yesterday too. How cute do little person clothes look on washing lines?!

I have that stuff to I love the range. All bumps clothes are washed and put in her draws waiting for her arrival now. It was my whole belly which felt hard had happened a few times. I did look it up and says could be bh.

Me!!! Im desperate to get this labour started. Had sex yesterday to try get things going, had lots of loose stools last night accompanied with tightenings and cramps, really thought it was the start but once again amounted to nothing. I'm not feeling the best at the moment, I feel clammy and like I'm coming down with something. She is just too comfy in there. Going for a long walk today but I bet I will still be here next week.

I'm desperate to get mine out too!! What's a matter with these babies?!! I'm still going for daily monitoring for reduced movements and tomorrow is my last one as I have decided to go with the induction Friday! So scared, my 1st baby I went into labour naturally and it was a gradual build of intensity over nearly 3 days!!! Really don't know how's the induction will go but I'm bouncing on my ball and still drinking rasberry leaf tea to encourage it all along!! Xx

Ccbunny your so brave! I'm still undecided about mine for next week. I'm sure you will be fine please keep us posted on how it goes obviously il be looking non stop. I'm very uncomfortable I thought she had dropped but actually I don't think she has. There's no gap between my chest and my bump. She don't feel like she is on my lap yet either, I do need a wee every 5 mins but that's it. I have a consultant appointment tomorrow and my first sweep on Fri at 38 weeks. I intend on taking hubby to bed tonight so maybe that will help. Although I intended to this this last night and fell asleep haha.

We got all the baby stuff out of the loft today. Daughter immediately climbed into the moses basket to prove she could still fit in it and reclaimed her old baby to toddler rocker chair. Went through all the first size clothes and removed all the pink for now. If we have a boy we have sufficient white stuff to get us by for the first weeks but eurgh it's so dull!

No you're not! As much as I'm looking forward to meeting this one, I'm in no rush for the onslaught of newborn life and happy to enjoy our last few weeks with just our daughter. She came in her due week so I'm hoping for similar this time.

I'm in no rush either lol - they can stay cookin' and getting fat (with the gold top milk I apparently crave now, they probably are too)
Just got in from another gig - Cate le bon this time... every time I go to a gig or to the cinema I think 'this could be the last for a while...' and then I end up at another haha
Admittedly, had to sit down for a lot of this one though! I fear I really am coming to the end...

Baby is 2/5 engaged now and hoping she will get more engaged by the day. I also have first sweep tomorrow before work. So glad it's my last day! I had a pregnancy massage tonight which was lovely tho it involved a lot of movement, left and right then up. She also pushed all the pressure point which are meant to help the uterus for birth. Hope everyone is doing ok x

So went for my 39 week appointment and I'm now coming up as 35 weeks and they think he's breech!! Emergency scan tomorrow morning burst inot tears as I was bit shocked.... will let you know how I get on x

Oh no did they not measure you at urw last time? Hopefully baby is not breach. A lady in the mau was having a breach baby but se was going to have a normal birth as she refused a section. Hooe all goes well with it keep us updated x

I've always been coming up two weeks behind but this has gone down to 4 weeks behind I'm sick with worry I'm not sleeping at the moment anyway this will keep me up all night, will keep everyone updated xx
