***June Mummies 2016 Tri 3***

Oh ok sorry that was a silly first time mummy question lol. Iv not seen mine yet guessing it will be after the birth. X

Haha no worries :) I only got a call last week at 35 weeks so you may still get a call from one to arrange a visit xx

Sorry I was being lazy typing on my phone! Ours like to meet you before so they can give you various leaflets and to have a general chat and get an idea for what sort of support you might benefit from. Ours was very helpful last time supporting with breastfeeding and helping me find baby groups to attend so I could chat to other mums.

Due date is 16 June, which sounds ages away but I only have 10 days left at work now and my mum's about to fly to Australia for a month (family emergency) so will be pretty close by the time she gets back!

That will be close, mine is the 10th but i still got 5 weeks left at work. I would love to leave early but i want to spend more time with her once she arrives.
Its good they help with finding meetings for you. I would like to meet some other mums ect. X

I'm not actually starting maternity leave until the week baby is due. I work part time so have 4 weeks work then 3 weeks holiday first. I'm taking the full year plus accrued holiday as I want as much time at home with baby as possible - going back to work last time was hardest thing I'd ever done!

I work in a school so cant leave early to take holiday. Id love to leave now as i get so tired and feel i lose my temper faster but like ypu i want as much time as possible. I have told work a yr too but depending on money i might need to go back before which looks likely. Im hoping if i go back early i will only do 3 days x

3 days was a really good compromise for me. Just make sure you start discussions early as we thought I was going to resign and ended up having to arrange child care and change of hours for both of us within a fortnight. My work's official timescale is 3 months so I was really lucky they helped me out!

I'm hoping to take a full year too, I would be due back in May next year as this month has been holiday. But also hoping to not have to go back either, it depends if hubby gets his pay rise and we can pay off our debts before then and cope financially until I finish training for a new job role xx

Id love a yr but i think if im lucky it will be 9 months. Thats y i want to work till the end so i get longer with her. Was talkimg to hunby today i might need to leave early iv had a day from hell. Im tired and just want to rest. The kids stressed me out so much today i nearly had a break down. I was so stressed i just wanted to cry lol. At lunch i need some time to myself and there is no room i can go for peace. Just looking at the people im with annoys me lol.
I hope ur hubby gets his pay rise it will be good for you. My school is pretty good i need to gibe two months notice and they have said i can come back part time if i want to. Xx

Hi all, sorry to hear about your bad day blueclass, I'm finishing work Friday at 35 weeks its 2 weeks sooner than planned but what with the GDM and increased waters and scare I had a couple of weeks ago I'm very ready to be off, I'm hoping to go back next May as I'm using some annual leave at the start and at the end.
My little lady isn't much of a mover either kanga and with the risks of GDM it does worry me but she moves enough at small intervals during the day for me to feel happy with her. My next appt is at 36 weeks for a scan and seeing consultant, need to see if the waters are still increased for a plan for delivery, ideally want her here at 38ish weeks, started labour naturally with my daughter at 39+6 so hoping it'll be a bit sooner xx

Gdm? Whats that, sorry if its a silly question. My little lady dont move much either today been very quite but as i type she is having a memtal moment so not sure of i should be worried or not?
Ccbunny will you be induced? Xx

Sorry-gestational diabetes! I'm being controlled by diet and nice guidelines suggest induction at 40+6 but with increased waters there's talk of them starting me off at 38/39 if I haven't started on my own, but no one will commit to anything until I have my 36 week appt x

If your not happy with movements always best to phone, movements are such a hard one to judge I think x

I did think diabetes but thought id check. Well hopefully ur appointment will be ok and ur go into labour naturally. I know i might call them as iv had nothing again since. Its so hard with movements, are we meant to feel them every other hour or is it normal to not feel anything for a few hours? She doesnt really have a routine but she is fairly active in the eve x

Hi ladies while we are on the topic of going back to work, as some of you already know I had a really stressful time at work, was made redundant and had to start mat leave at 28 weeks. Since then I was shown an opportunity to build my own business, working hours I choose around pregnancy issues then around baby when she arrives. I have a plan in place so I should be financially stable by the time paid mat leave runs out and won't have to worry about going back to work. If anyone would like to know more about how this opportunity could help you too, just let's know. X

I don't know if it's the iron tablets doing their thing, but I am feeling so energised at the moment! I'm food recording to curb my excessive eating, I've cut right down on caffeine and chocolate (although I am still baking cakes and biscuits) and I'm doing extra exercise. And I'm feeling great! :-)

Wonder how long it'll last before I collapse in a big fat pregnant heap again, lol ;-)

Nice one Maud - great you're feeling good! Having never been a big chocolate eater, I'm suddenly craving it for some reason, dammit! That, and lager o.o
I had sips of my partner's a coupla weekends ago and just suddenly felt like downing a load... so my partner got me some erdinger alcohol free and it really hit the spot... I think it actually has some good stuff in too, like potassium (which apparently I need more of, as my legs are restless as heck during the night! Heard that more potassium can ease that and cramps?). Partner got a photo of me balancing a half pint glass of it on my belly. Picture of motherhood, that's me!

Maud - Iron tabs are defo Magic. I felt a million times better when I started mine.

Yorks yes potassium is good for RLS, I ate bananas when I had it but that lager sounds great!

xx
