I've got pretty much constant backache now, and yesterday had loads of braxton hicks after not having any for about 2 months!! Baby was 2/5 engaged last week and I feel like it's gone down a bit more over the past couple of days so thinking that's why my spine is struggling. Ah joy!! 18 days......

How's everyone doing?

I saw Betty had her little girl last night-massive congrats to her if she pops her head back in on here!!!

Scan was fine again as are my blood sugar levels. They were happy to let me go over my due date but I asked if it's possible to be induced on my due date which again they were happy with. No more scans or appts now...

No, but then I never had any with my daughter so wouldn't know what to look for! I've never had an Braxton Hicks either

Well, I think baby has dropped again and that's why I'm getting so much back pain, and had a blob of jelly discharge pop out earlier so think my plug is starting to dislodge. Doesn't mean much though other than theres hopefully more chance my cervix will be more favourable by the time I go in for induction. I don't think it'll come before then.

I never lost any plug either, just woke up one morning to instant back to back contractions and the typical movie scene of waters gushing everywhere

I'm booked in for induction in three weeks if no appearance before then.

Hmmm.... almost ready! Sorting baby's room and building up the cot this weekend, and washing pram bits, putting that all together etc. Bags are packed, just have a couple of bits left to buy.

However, I'm totally not ready to experience labour again!!

Hey girls, haven't posted here in a while. I'm due to be induced at 3pm! I'm quite nervous, but excited to enjoy the summer with my newborn had a sweep on Monday which did nothing, but I was told I was nearly 3cm dilated by then! So hopefully I'll go in and something has happened to my cervix lol! Apparently it was nice and soft not looking forward to trying to give birth in this heat though! It's boiling down south hope everyone's ok xx

I'm still waiting ladies. My baby has missed the last day of May!

I'm really torn at the moment. I'm 40+8 and going for a scan tomorrow to check placenta function. Then I'll have to decide when and how I want to deliver, if it doesn't happen naturally. I can't decide between induction and c section (I have a choice here - just not at the weekend, as they don't section then!), and how long to wait. It gets very worrying beyond your due date. I'm currently thinking to book a c section at 42 weeks, to give baby another 6 days to arrive naturally. Hmmm

Good luck chickadee!!! Looks like there may be a few inductions for us June mummies....
dovekie maybe as they won't do a section at the weekend anyway, perhaps give yourself the weekend to try everything possible to get it going naturally and get induction/section booked in early/mid week so you're home for next weekend or something ? Good luck with whatever you choose xx

Baby is quiet today

Ooohh Lollie mine is quiet today too.....I'm having to poke it to get reaction. I might call assessment in a bit when hubby home. The top half of my uterus is just swuishy and empty....baby is literally just chilling in a ball at the bottom. I've just drank some caffeine and trying to sit still as much as I can (whilst doing bath/bedtime) to try and track movement.

Same here, baby is all at the bottom. I've had movement but not as much a usual.

I'm going to give it a couple of hours and then ring if baby doesn't pick up.

Baby is bouncing away now too. During yesterday's scan, baby was head down with arms and legs up next to it's head so I'm guessing that's why the movements feel different. They tell you it gets into a regular pattern by 32 weeks but my daughter never did and this one is following suit!

Aw yea that sucks not having treats....pregnancy is the only time you can get away with eating treats!

Glad baby is moving lots for you now though-I reckon they will pull out an all-nighter and give us grief tonight!! Xx
