Oh I'm jealous, would love to have a little holiday! Might look into a long weekend somewhere. This might sound like a silly question, but I've only ever holidayed abroad so the days consisted of sunbathing and swimming! What do during the day on a uk holiday with no sun? Xxc

Well depends on the time of year and area. Long walks are usually nice visit heritage sites castles etc depends on if u do a city break or a country or coastal break but can do boat trips beach days museums various parks or botanical gardens to visit theater shows eat out, relax if kids with u farms or themed parks always a winner, safari park visits

HAha awe love him!! Noah loves eastenders, the 2nd he hears the theme tune he turns str8 to the telly!!

Thanks hun. Might have to look into somewhere where there is lots of things around. Will never be the same as a sun holiday but will be nice to be and do something different. Xxx

We went out for lunch most days, tied that in with walks and visiting places. Although Josh is only 3 mths he loved the sea life place - the light and movement in the aquariums fascinated him.

We found some of the walks on the coast a bit difficult as they weren't very pushchair friendly!

Thanks Becky, yes that's what I was a bit worried about too, whether or not it would be easy to go everywhere with a buggy, although I guess oh would be with me to help carry it so wouldn't be too difficult. We're not massively ones for looking at things - complete heevans culturally! So lunch everyday sounds good. Maybe I'll look for a nice cottage xxx

I am shattered today! Yesterday Izzy went out for 2 and a half hours with her grandpa! He took her along the coast and the fresh air totally knocked her out for the full day! It was the first time she's been out without me but he kept sending me photos of her so it kept me relaxed! So she's pretty much been up since 5am and she's being abit whingey today!! But we're having a pj day and Chinese tonight xx
