***June 2019 Mummies***

I've git hubby to get fsiry non-bio and pure comfort. I'll use this for tge babies stuff. Then once she's a couple of weeks old I'll introduce a couple of items washed in our normal powder. If she's OK with them I'll slow wash all tge other stuff in our normal powder :)

I always have to use non bio anyway as OH has baby like skin and comes out in rash if use bio! Haha x

Yeah, the 28th was exactly the day I was expecting because I'll be 37 weeks on the 27th but that's the bank holiday. I've got a consultant midwife coming round on the 15th as well to discuss a plan for the day in case I do go into labour. I'll have the stitch removed first thing and will then stay in for the day to see if she makes an appearance!
I wash everything in fairy non bio and comfort pure anyway, just habit from washing our little boy's stuff in with ours xx

Thanks baby will definitely have look in primarks- that’s our thought always grab some smaller stuff if she is tiny and do have a couple sleepsuits in first size that will pack in my hospital bag.

Unicorn- my section date was meant to be on the 28th but due to the bank holiday couldn’t do pre op the day before. Hope your feeling good about it all.

It’s it likely for you to go into labour once the stitch is removed? Xx

Well hubby brought the comfort and fairy home, first lot of baby clothes and blankets are currently hung over airers drying! So odd seeing little pink bits hanging around <3

I've been home all day today with my little man. He seemed OK this morning after such a rough night. But by noon he'd crashed and slept on and off for most of the afternoon. Didn't touch his lunch, and had to keep encouraging him to drink. He then woke and finally ate. I let him stay up a little later as he'd not long been awake, fully expected him to take ages to go to sleep this evening but he had passed out thr second his head hit the pillow. Definitely something wrong with him, I jusy can't pinpoint what.

Anyway, praying for a better night tonight. Wish me luck!

Unicorn, I'm normally a bold and comfort washer, but I think I'm converted! The fairy and pure comfort smell amazing! Lol xx

That's what they say, but who knows. Initially I felt 37 weeks was still a bit early and I'd prefer to not go into labour then but actually it would mean that everything is planned, our little boy is taken care of etc so I'm now thinking that would work out quite well! Xx

Yeah, although I'm not sure the smell lasts long baby, but that might just be because I'm used to it so don't really smell it anymore! I'm sorry to hear your little one is poorly, it's horrible to see them like that isn't it! I hope he's back to himself soon xx

I’ve got fairy none bio too and the comfort

It’s crazy to say that next month we’ll have our babies or even this month for some of you!!

I’m enjoying my mat leave feel like I’ve got energy now to do stuff round the house now because I’m not tired from coming home from work

I’ve got the health visitor coming tomorrow so I’ve just had a quick blitz of the house ready haha

Hope your little ones okay baby x

I went out and bought some fairy non-bio liquid so I'm gonna start washing over the next couple of days. Eek! So exciting!
I'm jealous of your energy smcx , I keep falling asleep in the day at the moment
I am physically exhausted and can barely move some days.

Urgh, little one is poorly and projectile vomited all over me, I really hope I don't get ill xx

Unicorn I really hope you don't get sick from your LO. I had such a sore stomach last night too. Its better this morning but I've got the doctors this evening anyway. I hope everyone else is feeling ok, its so exciting to get the baby washing done, isn't it!? I've ordered some nursing tops to add to my hospital bag. I just have all the little odds and ends to order now like breast pads but I don't know if the hospital give those out so I don't want to order too many.

I'm feeling very sorry for Meghan Markle now. She announced her pregnancy a couple of days before my BFP so it seems like she's been pregnant forever, I bet it feels that way for her too!

Well our night was horrific! Little one had vomiting episodes about every hour until 1am and was then just restless and upset all night! Other than to get up to work my way through the tonnes of washing we've now got, we are still cuddled up in bed!
I got through hundreds of breast pads last time Abi, so even if the hospital do give some (ours don't!) there won't be any harm in getting at least another box anyway! If you think, you'll probably want to change them at least a few times a day in the beginning, every day - that's a lot of breast pads! Xx

Unicorn, did you use disposable or washable ones? I've bought a set of 7 washable ones but I've also bought a box of disposables in case I can't be bothered particularly in the first few days

I tried both but really couldn't get on with the washable ones - I found them uncomfortable and just too much to deal with on top of everything - although I was also using reusable nappies at the time so I think maybe they may have just been the final straw  So I tried biodegradable ones but they gave me a horrific rash, which obviously isn't ideal! Xx

I’ve been thinking about Meghan Markle too. At this rate I’ll have my baby (due in 2 weeks) before she has hers. My dread is that I’ll have mine, name her, then Meghan will pinch my name and everyone will think I named her after Meghan choice!

That's my other worry. I hope she doesn't use the name that I have picked. I don't think I would change it even if she did and it isn't one of the names that people think she will go for but it will be one less thing to worry about when the royal baby is born and named!

I had another doctors appointment and scan today. Baby is measuring 2.5kg and at least 35 weeks so well ahead of dates. I really hope that means I have a naturally early baby, I'm scared about birth now and the idea of such a huge baby is stressing me out. The doctor thinks he will slow down at the end and get to 4kg, so big but not shockingly so but I'm not feeling very confident at the moment.

Just read the last few messages reference breast pads. I was considering the washable ones but then I came across these breast milk collection shields on amazon & the reviews are amazing so I’m going to try those. Makes sense really, why waste all the leaking milk on breastpads when you can collect it all :)

I'm pretty sure iv turned into a sloth lol I'm sure I'm getting slower and slower at moving.
I'm constantly tired all the time now, and a right moody moo lol.
Went out to a desert place the other day for my husbands birthday.... how I didn't pass out from sugar overload is a miracle. My poor 7 year old left looking grey lol

Abi don't worry about the weight so much or him coming early, I was told my boy was big and hed be over 8lb at 40 weeks. He was 11 days late *so was expecting a very large baby* he was only 7lb9

As for Meghan, doubt shel be much longer, shes already overdue I think. I doubt she'd use the name weve chosen... I hope lol.

Cant believe the babies are due next month, even tho I'm convinced mine will be late like her siblings lol. Started taking bets within the family.

Yeah, I tried those Linnett and found them useful when at home to use on the breast baby wasn't feeding from, as I found that was when it'd produce the most milk. But they stick out quite a bit so make you look like you're wearing Madonna cone boobs and don't stay in place that well so never wore them out! I think Meghan has probably already had the baby  xx

Sloth! Haha!

I think I’m still doing pretty well although today I’ve been on my feet all day! Had a huge pile of ironing to get through which I’d put off for almost 2 weeks which took the best part of today to do, stripped & made beds, hovered, cleaned floors, went to home bargains to get some cleaning stuff & ive only just sat down now & my lower backs deff feeling very achy now! Also I’m not sure if babies had a growth spurt or just moved position but the sharp stabbing pains in my vag have increased tenfold today !! I feel a big lump either in the centre of my belly or slightly off to one side & then the stabbing pain at the same time as if it’s arching it’s back or sticking its bum out so the other end pushing down too! Feeling quite crampy today too.

I’d resigned myself to the fact this one would be late too but I’m now suddenly thinking “crap what it’s it’s not, I really need to get organised & buy things!”
