***June 2019 Mummies***

Glad you’re feeling better smithy! I’ve requested a pregnancy massage for mother’s day!
Did you both find they’re worth it?

I made an hour and a half trip to Norwich today and hopefully have secured the last place on a hairdressing course... starting in APRIL! Call me mad, but it’s only two days per month to travel in and the rest is at home, so I’m hoping I can cope with baby, toddler and the coursework through my mat leave!

It was lovely but a bit disappointed as it was advertised as a mum to be massage but ended up being head, neck and shoulder massage leaning over the side of the massage bed?? And from a really expensive top quality place so might email them about it. Had hoped I would be lying on my side with full body perhaps. But I'm not complaining as baby loved every minute, he was dancing in there and I was very relaxed afterwards I have to say xx

Glad your feeling better Smithy! X

Ooo good luck Chrissi! I’m a hairdresser and finishing work in 8 weeks, it’s definitely starting to take it out of me being on my feet a lot so I’m just making sure I’ll taking plenty of breaks. Think everyone thinks I’m mad planning on going to back to work for December but I love the Christmas rush in the salon and I don’t want to miss it haha!

I’ve felt baby a lot more today which has made me relax abit after I was getting slightly paranoid about whether I’d felt him that much this week. Going bra shopping tomorrow so fingers crossed I manage to get sorted! I’ve gone from literally having no boobs to all of sudden not being able to wear any bra as they don’t fit:|

The pregnancy massage was really worth it for me Chrissi. It really helped with my lower back and hip pain and my legs were much less restless last night. I'm not sure how but I slept from 8pm until 5:30am! And this time I could feel the baby during the massage too so it was interesting to feel him relax with me. I'm hoping he's quite a chilled out person like DH rather than more anxious like me!

Good luck bra shopping Smcx, I found wireless stretchy bras were the way to go for me. But then I didn't exactly start off with small boobs in the first place!

When are we officially in the third trimester which week?
I’ve got the pregnancy+ app and the bounty app and there both saying 27weeks but when I looked on nhs website it says 28

I agree with wireless stretchy bra! Mine is almost like a comfy padded sports bra in 3 colours lol. Best thing I ever did.

I'm not sure about third tri. Been thinking this myself. It's not long now though, I'm so excited but can't believe hownquick this second tri has gone. Insane really. Up to 12 and 20 weeks was the longest wait but since then I just don't feel ready at all!

I got my bras they feel so much better!
I know I can’t believe how fast it’s all going, I remember the drag of waiting to get to 12weeks it was awful and I was so paranoid about everything i just literally went to work and then home straight to bed every night. Now I can’t believe I’m at 27weeks!! I always thought pregnancy would drag but I don’t feel like it has really!

Perhaps it's just the beginning and end bit that drag?
I'm not ready to go back to work tomorrow. I just keep telling myself 10 working weeks left and a couple of half terms and I can have a bit of time off with my baby.
How's everyone doi G? Heartburn is evil atm for me yuk.

Are you taking anything for the heart burn Smithy? I couldn't survive without ranitadine! We've come away to West Wales for the week so really looking forward to a nice relaxing break and on Monday when we go home I've got the steroid injection for the baby so hopefully then we'll be in the clear :) xx

Smx it definitely has flown since Xmas! Come May, we’ll all be moaning that we’re ready to give birth! And the wait begins!
You’ll probably all have babies in your arms by the time my little man arrives.
Heartburn is awful smithy. I feel for you!
Unicorn how far along are you now?

25 weeks tomorrow, so 26 next Monday when I'll have the steroids xx

I’ve actually found the opposite. I found the beginning went really fast & since 20 weeks it’s dragging so much. 16 weeks still sounds so long! Going to book 26 week appointment soon & then I’ve got to have the GTT test by 28 weeks & see what that comes back as.

I’m feeling pretty good at the minute, forget I’m pregnant quite a lot. Hubby comes home & ive moved half the house around & he’s telling me I shouldn’t be doing that lol. I’m sleeping quite well lately which is nice & no heartburn for me yet thankfully. Have days where I feel more tired but that’s it really.

Touch wood my heartburn has eased completely, I thought I was getting it bad again but not had it in a week or so.
I have days I feel great, and days I feel awful. My hip pain hasn't overly materialised so hoping the spd doesn't show up again.
Time is going steadily for me personally. I found 12-16 weeks the longest so far. That felt never ending.

Morning all

I definitely think the slowest part of my pregnancy was from BFP til 12 week scan. I think since hitting 18 weeks though the time seems to have just flown by! I'll be 28 weeks on Thursday! I have my glucose test booked in for Thursday too, not looking forward to that.

As for tri 3, I honestly don't know. I thought it was 27 weeks onwards but figured I'd just hang out in tri 2 until more of use where ready to move over. I didn't want it be in there all in my own haha.

Other than feeling huge, like full term huge, I feel OK. Occasional tiredness, finding it a little harder to get comfy in bed at first, but once I'm asleep I'm generally in for a good night. Minus the 2 or 3 toilet trips. Hip pain seems to be manageable without painkillers, which I'm really happy about as this time last pregnancy I was in agony. And heartburn is only just starting to creep in, its still very hit and miss so hoping that doesnt develop into much either. Just over 12 weeks left before she'll hopefully make a timely appearance lol. I really hope this next few weeks don't drag by :(

Did everyone have a good weekend? On and here's my 27+4wk bump...

Hey ladies,
I finding the weeks are going so fast this time- maybe cos my baby will definitely be here sometime in May.

Just had mw appointment - had to be rechecked after last week/ baby’s heart beat as settled nicely - 152 bpm and she measured bump -25cm - also done my bloods (I be 27 was on thurs) don’t need to see the mw till I’m 34 weeks - I do have glucose test at 29 weeks and anti D vaccination.

Lovely bump pics - hope your glucose test goes well baby - it does seem crazy as we be in third trimester soon xx

I clearly jinxed myself yesterday by saying I felt pretty good. I didn’t sleep well at all last night. In fact I was more awake than asleep. Not really sure why, kept having dreams (some a vaguely remember), my nose was blocked, was uncomfortable. I got up at 6 & my throat, eyes & nose felt as dry as a desert! Felt rough all day, a mixture of some sort of heartburn/feeling sick feeling, feel like I’ve gained a full blown cold overnight & just feel shattered. Feel like bumps grown too & I actually feel heavy today. Bending down to pick things up is a laugh lol. I tried to nap today but something just stops me from sleeping - it’s so frustrating :(

Baby I’ll stay here too til more of us move over to tri 3 haha

Ive booked a 4D scan for in 2 weeks so looking forward to that:smile:

Oh no linnett hope you feel better soon!

Is anyone else experiencing braxton hicks?

I've just had one in the kitchen while prepping dinner and it was fairly painful. I had to stop and breath through it, bump went so tight and the pain travelled round to my back. Had to stand while rocking my hips and breathing. OH walked in and his poor face was a picture, but honestly it bloody hurt!

I haven’t experienced them myself baby but I know with subsequent pregnancies they can be felt sooner & its totally normal for them to even be felt from 20 weeks the more pregnancies you have. I don’t actually think I’ve ever had them at all
