***June 2019 Mummies***

Dr was useless. Wouldn't entertain anything pregnancy related. Said it's viral and gave me meds. Wouldn't even test urine or bp.
I went next door to mw unit and they were awesome. I'm currently is hospital as dehydrated, and blood in urine, but hoping only for a short while.
Heard baby's HB a beautiful 150bpm. Baby is happy so just me to fix now

Bubbles that sounds awful, I hope you feel better soon. If it's still hurting go back for a 2nd opinion, just because you can put weight on it does not mean it isn't broken. I learnt that on my 1 day first aid course so I'm shocked a doctor would tell you that! I hope you feel better soon though.

Marvellous I'm glad they are getting you sorted out. Being able to rest and get hydrated will give you the best chance of fighting this bug.

Wow, that's really poor of the Dr Marvellous! I'm glad you're getting sorted now though xx

Going home.
Mw has been amazing here, doctor not so much. Has made me feel like I'm bed hogging (i didnt ask to come here) so iv stopped being sick and drank a full bottle of juice, so taking myself home to my babies.

Gunna hibernate for a while I think

Rest up Marvellous hope you feel better soon x

Bubbles that experience sounds horrific! I can't even begin to imagine how terrifying it must have been. Thank the stars everyone came away unharmed. Well, apart from you. Sorry your legs got caught under the car. If the pain is still intense I'd seek a second opinion, it's more than possible to walk or use broken limbs. I've seen ladies who have walked/been mobile after suffering a broken hip, she thought it was just bad bruising/soft tissue damage!

Marvelous, your doctor doesn't sound very sympathetic, I can't believe he sent you on your wsy with out doing any simple checks first.thabk god you had the sense to go to the midwife and get them to check. Glad they've looked after you, and yay for going home tonight. Hope you start to pick up now.

I am shattered, just gonna pop the littlest into bed then I'm seriously considering going to bed myself.

Oh dear ladies!
Poor you Bubbles, sounds really scary! It's easily done though, I've gone back for he car a few times lately unsure if I've put the handbrake on as it's such an automatic thing and it's so easy not to apply it all the way. Make sure you rest and go back to the docs if you don't feel okay. I fractured my collarbone once, I could move it and put weight on it but it really hurt! Be careful.
Marvellous I'm glad you are feeling a bit better, hope you can keep more down soon. Shame on the doctor for not being more helpful.
Anyone else get kicking so low down they think babies foot might blast into through their cervix? Just me? lol

Hello Ladies,

My due date is 29th June. Currently 17+3. Absoloutley loving been pregnant and the experience I've had so far. However I'm sure will experience some uncomfortableness in the coming weeks! Im feeling lucky at the moment that I seem to be ally bump and baby and barley gained any additional weight anywhere else. But again I'm sure this is bound to change haha.

I'm loving feeling all the little flutters and movements in my tummy at the moment I just can't wait till these become stronger and more regular. I have my 20 week scan on the 11th February I can't wait to find out what I'm having.

I hope you are all enjoying your experiences x

Omg bubbles that sounds horrific ! Hope you start feeling better soon!

Same to you marvellous, you’ve not been having a great time at all, hope it does a 360 soon!

It’s funny you should say that smithy. Prob too much info but I’ve not long been for a number 2 which took about half hour to get out - got to love the pregnant constipation ah! Anyway when I sat on the sofa afterwards I said to hubby “oh I must have made some room as I can feel baby now” haha but it’s also very low down! Only way I can describe how low down it is is by saying the opposite side to my lady garden lol

Yes! Literally like he is kicking me in the vagina or cervix sometimes haha. It makes me want to pee or makes me jump as it's quite tender. I'm so amazed by it but sometimes it feels super weird.

Welcome Aeb! Glad pregnancy has been treating you well so far :)

Smithy, yes she often goes really low and kicks my in my cervix area. It's bloody sharp isn't it? Makes me wince some times lol

Aebx, welcome congratulations on your pregnancy. Glad all is smooth and plain sailing for you so far, here's hoping that stays the same! I'll add your details to the front page. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Has anyone got snow yet? We had a light dusting of snow this morning but its soon disappeared. School run this morning was hair raising. Little old lady walk out in front of traffic from behind a van. Luckily the oncoming car stopped in time. Then 5 mins later a car came speeding past me as they were too impatient to wait to merge into the right hand lane further up (Road splits into two further up near the roundabout). Anyway, he came speeding past and nearly wiped out a car further up who was indicating and merging into the lane. Needless to say I was on edge for crazy impatient drivers the rest of the journey lol.

Bubbles and marvelous, hope your feeling OK today? Xx

Anyone else peeing loads?! I’ve just peed 3 times in less than 20 mins! I want to keep my water intake up but even without much water I’m weeing so much! Only another 22 weeks of this to go :rotfl:

Yes but then I'm drinking loads. Going through about 6 tall glasses of water every day and multiple coffees (decaff). I normally struggle to drink water as I generally don't like the taste. But I'm so thirsty.

So I've spent the day listening to music and gutting the kitchen. Spent hours in there pulling out the cupboards, washing everything down, reorganising etc. Feels good to have it done but my god I'm aching now lol. Pj's on and crashing on the sofa is in order.

Going to start planning my little boys 6th birthday. His birthday is 1st June, as that's when baby is due I've had to move his party forward a couple of weeks just so I know (hope) she won't make a surprise appearance on his big day. If she's not here by his actual birthday I've promised we'll take him out for the day. So double celebration for him!

Aww how lovely for your little boy, my eldest birthday is on 1st too but luckily my baby will be here by then but I will be recovering from c section xx

Yup! Also getting up in the middle of the night to pee which is very unlike me, I like my sleep and normally sleep through.
I've also been cleaning / nesting all weekend and every night this week. Even started cleaning cups and cupboards in the staff room in work. Seriously think I've gone mental lol.

I have to pee every night at 2.30 and 5.30 like clockwork! Actually more sore today, think adrenaline has stopped and bruising has come out so it’s more painful. My left thigh and knee are pretty much black. Be interesting looks on Monday if I manage to get to swimming!

Are you normally early or late Baby? Maybe baby will decide to come on your sons birthday? How would be feel about that? Xx

Hey ladies.

I'm mending slowly. Eatting and drinking now so building up strength. And getting the dehydration under control. Got awful sinus infection atm now.
Did some baby shopping yesterday which cheered me up. Took ages tho, currently walking at the speed of a snail lol.

Got more hospital letters yesterday, pretty sure I have the equivalent of a tree now lol.
They wanna do growth scans at 28 and 36 weeks due to my eldest being small by their guidelines.

Hope you're all doing well.

Haha smithy, I think nesting is kicking in for me too. Last week I gutted the bedrooms, this week it's the kitchen. I've got a massive cupboard on the landing that needs doing and under the stairs. But I'm taking it easy today. My hips last night where so sore, I could feel the nerves pinching when I got into bed. Had to relent and take a couple of paracetamol just so it would ease a little. Make the most of the nesting though, just rest when you can. When baby is here you'll have no time for the first few weeks. Not that you want to do anything but have baby snuggles!

Caz, how old is your eldest? This will be my boys first proper party with school friends. We arranged one last year but had to cancel has he got chicken pox! Do he's mega excited!

Oh bubbles, sorry to hear your leg is causing more pain. Honestly, you hear such horror stories about people being run over by their own car! I'm so glad (you know what I mean) that it's only a bruised leg you have. Could have been so much worse!

I normally go over with my babies, my first was 12 days, the youngest was 4 days. She's officially due in the 30th May as they forward dated me at the 12wk scan. So there is high chance that she will be born around the 1st if I go over a few days again. He's not bother if she's born on his birthday. He actually keeps asking how long til his birthday coz he wants to see baby :)
