Work will be good about moving my dates if necessary but would like at least a few days to get the house in order and last minute bits done before baby arrives. Plus if I start my leave any earlier I will be back before xmas and I really dont want to be.

I have had it pretty easy so far though so consider myself lucky. Nothing to say I wont want baby out asap if things start to get hard, lol. X

Lucky you Colletteypie, wish I could finish sooner! Really not enjoying my job these days. I know I should be grateful for what I have but easier said than done most days!

Still, got my first counselling appointment on Thursday, sort of looking forward to it in a weird way

We have little white converse but won't fit him until he's about 6 months!

Matalan have some really lovely summer clothes in now for both blue and pink babies I got a gorgeous little pair of shorts and shirt baby girl and also a little polo romper suit! Too cute!!

I have annual leave booked from 2nd may for 2 weeks before maternity starts, I've said if I'm needed I will work the odd day over them 2 weeks. I'll be about 34 weeks now which is what my consultant ideally wants me to get to. I think I'm definitely going to be a May mummy! just hope it's after 37 weeks xx

Oh yeah I've seen them! Very cute! My OH is a bit label mad! He's already been looking at little Hugo boss outfits and Armani! He's so happy to have a little mini him on the way! Xx

You can get the converse sock things in tk max - I chose to get elephant socks instead though , but I would like them.

My Mum and dad brought me back a scarf from holiday that had an elephant print on it, made me laugh, it's clearly catching!

Coletteypie that sounds scary! Are there any other numbers you can call on the back of your notes to get a more helpful response? x

Oh charlie more cuteness! I can't handle it! See being team yellow totally has its drawbacks... Can't get stuck into shopping properly!!! Yeah I think my baby shower is same weekend as yours - the 12th! I received an invite today - soooo cute. I can't wait! I'll be all hormonal and emotional with all these cute baby things.

All these sweet wee things totally reminding me why I'm doing this!! There is a baby, my baby at the end of this looooong hard journey! Can't wait for them to arrive now!

Haha yes Belfa - ever so slightly frightening. The only thing keeping me calm strangely is Google - seems to be a fairly common complaint. Just really disappointing that the midwife - of the largest midwife dept in Glasgow (maybe scotland!?) telling me she's never had anyone complain of palpitations!! I mean... I don't believe that in the slightest. Making me feel like I'm cuckoo!

Belfa, I have to say some of your posts crack me up, the 'wafting of the beard trimmer' literally made me lol. We have dtd around 1-2 times a week since the 12 weeks scan (nothing before then). Its still comfortable for now. Count myself lucky that Im having an easy time of it so far. Have to say it is a bit weird if baby kicks during it though.

I avoided the tri 2 drama thread. Agree with Colletteypie that some people do seem to post lots of dramatic threads but this is an open forum and if you dont like it, dont comment.

Charlie....gorgeous shoes!!! Not bought any for my little man as trying to be practical and only get the essentials but yours is going to have proper cute little outfits!

I doubt I will be a May mummy. More likely July....ugh. Keeping everything crossed for June though!

My friend bought me a moses basket and brought it round at the weekend there. I was alone in the house staring at it and I started tearing up. Can't believe my wee baby is gonna be in it soon!

Ooo baby showers - I told my mum not to bother but I'm wishing I hadn't now!

I'm still set at the moment for due date 30th June
I was initially July so have been doing most of my posting on there as I kind of followed most of them from tri 1

I'll be 27 weeks tomorrow so offically tri 3
I'm so anxious
Have nothing prepared
Due to have the house totally re-wired next week lol then joiners and plasterers in
So much to do not enough time

Oh man I totally missed the later stages of the Bunny thread on Tri 2, had mostly been reading charlotte's. I actually LOL'd at pregnot making the Easter bunny joke. I mean.... All you can do is laugh!! Is like pantomine! Is all closed down now thankfully. No more drama!

Haha yes Belfa made me laugh with those comments too! We haven't DTD since BFP... And I feel a bit frustrated with it. I am now really uncomfortable so no way could I handle it. Until 14 weeks we were too scared. Then I think we were just weirded out by the baby being there lol. Now it's just been too long. The baby will have to brush past cobwebs on the way out... Yikes!

Welcome to Tri3 laura. At last all June mummies here.
Finally got my leaving date at work. May 18th. I had to pester them to sort it as too much happening and need to fit everything in. I'll be almost 37 weeks so perfect really. Just trying to get all my appointments in now. x

Only 11 shifts left until maternity leave for me - and have next week as annual leave.

Pretty sure I'll get bored during the weeks before LO is born. What is everyone planning to do between mat leave starting and LO coming along?
