*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Bubblegum, yay another icandy fan.. People seem to think I have expensive taste for getting mine, but I just want our bubba to have a decent mode of transport. It's the 1 thing we have gone mad on.

We also have white ikea drawers but went for malm range, really good size and reasonable.

Charlie, amazing about your lil bubba. Gorgeous scan pic too...try not to worry about lil one coming too early, my cousin had her girls at 32 weeks, both healthy 5 and 10 year olds, my niece was born at 36 weeks by emergency c, now healthy 4 year old with another brother or sister on the way being delivered next month at 34/35 weeks planned C and my friend had her little boy a few weeks back at 36+6 all good.

Buggy, hope you have a nice night away, try and enjoy yourself.

Well today I think I pulled a muscle where I was laughing so much at work, I even had to cross my legs ( bloody pelvic floor lol )

Hope everyone else ok xx

Bethyboo that's great news, hopefully you'll get the birth you want now!

Charlie thats a lovely name. Try not to get upset, look how far yous have come already! You've got a strong little bubba in there and even beat the cyst so keep positive! Are u still working? Are u able to take things easier now? x

Bethy that is great news. Also you are right, it's all starting to happen in here now plus - i look ahead at the May mum's thread sometimes and get a bit scared, as it all seems to have gone a bit mad and they are just 4 weeks ahead of us (or not even for those later in May). Eeeeek reality is beginning to hit home!

Charlie - don't you be stressing. Remember baby is classed as full term at 37 weeks. I would love to go at anytime after that!! 39 weeks would obviously be ideal, but yeah maybe you won't quite get there. No matter what, each week we all make it from here on out is a bonus for baby to be bigger and healthier. On a side note, if we have a boy he will get William as a middle name too after my dad :)! So i like your choice hehe.

Survived my anti d!! Really wasn't bad at all. Wee bit nippier than whooping cough, but nurse was on the ball and whole thing was over before I could blink. ALSO - I didn't have it in the bum!!!! She actually lol'd and said that they haven't done in the bum for a long time - is sooo weird. The midwife and nurse at GP surgery both told me would be the bum so I was totally psyched up for it! Had on clean pants for it and all ;-) heehee!!

Yeah bethyboo that's great news,

Glad your anti D went well colettypie. Got mine weds..been told it will be in my arm..glad yours wasn't in the bum either..lol..

This post is defo getting real busy now.

Maybe put on your good pants just in case :rotfl:

So happy is the weekend! Can't wait to hit 30 weeks next week - feels like a crazy milestone!

Thanks Ladies :) I just dont like the idea of going into labour and then having emergency section. Fingers crossed he will stay put for now :)

xx

Wow lots going on for everyone this afternoon. Hope everyone gets a nice relaxing weekend. We need it to wait little while yet before any of us skip the queue to motherhood.

I had my blood test ready for anti d next week. Think I will feel like a pin cushion with GTT, anti D and whooping cough all in the same week. X

I agree, we don't want any June babies at least until Mid May.. I booked my whooping cough the week after babyscotcher, save my arm lol

I regret it now but is at the same time as my midwife appointment so only have to go out once. X

I havent even booked this yet? does it have to be done at a set time? xx

Had anti d today, it's fine :) the whooping cough left me with slightly dead arm but this one I feel nothing after :)

I was told by midwife whooping cough best between 28 and 30 weeks charlie though can have bit later if your haven't.just booked through GP. Glad yours was fine Karen:)

Ok great well Im at midwife next Thursday so I will try book it for then xx Thanks!

Yeah I split my whooping cough and anti d by a week. Not sure I could have handled them the same week lol!

But as Karen says, was actually easy peasy. Found the whooping cough a bit easier - but the nurse said that some people are the opposite. Think it just depends how is administered and if you have a good nurse! Was lucky for both and mine and haven't had a problem.

Will see how my arm is tomorrow. I had a sore arm for a good few days after whooping cough. Get it in your right arm of you sleep on left like me.

It's kinda weird how many of us in this thread are rhesus negative considering only 15% of the population are!

I feel a bit left out not having my anti d injection lol, you all seem to have had it!
hope everyone is well this evening and looking forward to the weekend.
I'm still struggling with the headaches but trying to remain positive

I used to be petrified of injections but after my ectopic preg last year I was suddenly cured of that fear as had so many blood tests, now find them a breeze!

What model of icandy did you get lucyboo? I fell in love with the strawberry 2, was so light push and the smoothie colour is really nice, not as harsh/bright pink as other pinky coloured prams Iv seen. It was reasonably priced compared to some of the other i candy models. I love the bugaboo baby pink pram but that was too over budget for me :( happy with my choice though. Can't wait Until my baby girl gets to enjoy her wheels :)

I was thinking the same Coletteypie. Surely unusual for so many people out of a small group to be negative. We are just all special :-) x
