*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Oh Belfa I haven't experienced leaky boobs yet, but your right all fun and games now :)

I think I'm just going to go with white drawers from ikea, white cot and I want a nice glider. we have a good sized cupboard in babies room that I'm planning on putting some shelves in. At the moment my spare room has a weight bench in it so that will have to find a new home very shortly. X

Hi ladies :) I very rarely come in here anymore but hope you're all doing ok? Can't believe we're in tri 3 already where has the time gone??? Crazy!! I'm hoping for a HBAC (home birth after c section) this time around so preparing with hypnobirthing and yoga and generally looking after myself :) literally cannot wait to meet this little one! Lots of love to you all xx

Good stuff they let you back to work Charlie. The whole thing was ridiculous anyway! Tho am sure you had settled into enjoying some relaxing time off :)

Have a private physio appt this morning for my PGP after the NHS one left me feeling useless. Hoping this will help. Been wearing a support belt and noticed it has helped a bit.

And got my Anti D this afternoon - eeeeek wish me luck!

Hi Coletteypie, had asked in a previous post how u got on at your physio but you might have missed it. What did they say? My physio has discharged me now after seeing me weekly, got impression he didnt know what to do with me any more :( I didnt like my support belt, baby went mad when wore it so must of been squishing them a bit! Is your tail bone sore? Ive a lot of inflammation around mine, cant recommend a medical ring cushion high enough, takes pressure off. Looks rare but worth it lol

Ive no appointments for another 2-3 weeks, feeling like nothings happening now! x

I've got another MW checkup today, following another stint in hospital Weds and Thurs. Again they were happy that baby looks healthy and is moving around so once the bleeding has stopped for a while I'm allowed home. Feel like I'll be in and out like a fiddler's elbow at this rate though.

Actually managed to go to the hospital where I'm booked to have my baby this time. Absolutely hated it, the care was awful. I'm speak to my mw today about electing to have the baby at another hospital. It's a similar distance away, just in the opposite direction.

We're having a last night away tonight. Mum is looking after DD. Be nice to get away for a night and try and be normal. Hopefully nothing goes wrong while we're away.

Had you another incident of bleeding this week buggy? Do they know whats causing it? Reassuring to know baby is still happy in there. You'll deserve a good rest tonight!
What was wrong with the care in your booking in hosp? I had a bad experience too last time, during the day was ok but was shit at night when the night staff started, just felt abandoned and was basically told to just get on with it. Ive no other local hospitals near by so im stuck, if you can get yours changed that would be good. Dreading staying in hosp this time, will want to get home as soon as we can.

I'm just in the hospital myself. Having my 28 week growth scan to see if little ones legs have grown! Fingers and toes crossed! We are a bit early as went to watch the eclipse down the beach. Appointment is at 11 so just in the cafe.

Sorry to hear you have been back in hospital buggy! Hope you enjoy your night away! Xx

Yeah started bleeding again Weds morning, just about to sit my exam! That was a waste of a drive.

They can't be sure what is causing it, it could be the pre-existing clot but they can't rule out a new bleed. There's nothing much to be done while baby appears healthy and is growing ok.

I felt really abandoned in that hospital, ignored. Felt I was an inconvenience if I asked for anything. Some of the staff were nice but a couple were really rude. The facilities are also a bit poor and old. The other hospital looks better, going to arrange a visit there.

Cyst has completely gone and little man is measuring spot on, with every measurement. Right in the middle so he's perfect now :) his legs have even caught up! He's weighing 2.6lbs already! Can't believe it!!

Was lovely to finally have a nice scan! He was wide awake could even see his eye balls, drinking away too! Very cute!

I'm on cloud 9 for the first time!! Xx

Congrats Charlie. They said my baby was 2lb 6oz on Monday. What are the chances!

:) ahh great, looks like we are more or less the same for weeks and weight! How exciting!! You will have to let me know your next one and we can compare haha! My next scan is 33 weeks I think xx

So happy for you Charlie, that is the best news :) :)!! Wee man looks comfy as can be in there now! You can actually relax and enjoy your pregnancy!

Here's Hoping - so sorry, i must have totally missed that! They were as you predicted totally useless. I couldn't believe how poor their session and advice was. Just basically showed me some exercises, got me to sit on the gym ball, and told me to suck it up - pregnancy is a finite time didn't you know!? I was gobsmacked and went home really upset. So i can completely understand your frustration!

I contacted a local lady who specialises in pre/ante natal recovery physio/pilates care. I had heard someone recommend her. So went to see her this morning and walked out the class without hobbling! I mean my muscles are trembling and wasn't cheap (£45 a session - tho she discounted to £30 cos we only did 45 mins so she didn't push me too much), but i am currently not in pain for the first time in weeks. Totally astounded. So am booked to see her again next Fri. She told me to get a lower abdomen support belt from Lloyds - but they had none in stock. So i got one from Mothercare instead - and have found it quite good actually. They had a big velcro contraption which i'm glad i didn't buy. This is more like a heavy duty support band worn over underwear (was £12). It just pushes my bump up enough to stop leaning on my pelvis. Was skeptical when I saw it but it does seem to help.

Oh and I have a tail bone cushion ring thing on order!! It arrives tomorrow lol - so i will look mighty special at work with it on Monday no doubt! But the alternate is I am sitting on a rolled up fleece!!

Are you still off work with your pain?? It is so miserable, not fun at all.

Also Buggy i hope you can enjoy a wee relaxing trip with no more worries. What a horrible time to have had! Little one keeping you on your toes!!

That sounds good Coletteypie, be interesting to see how long your pain free for. Wish there was something like that around here. I love my ring cushion lol. Im signed off work, it involves a lot of driving and sitting at a desk which I couldn't cope with.

Hope its just old blood buggy and thats the end of it, hope the rest of your pregnancy is stress free.

Charlie sounds like you had a lovely scan, thats amazing. So reassuring to hear the cyst has gone! x

Just seen consultant after my scan and I be having my section booked for 39 weeks so around 7-8th june. He doesn't have much hope of me getting to 39 weeks and said I will more than likely go into labour early. It's hit home a bit about my chances of pre term labour and I need to seriously start taking it easy. So scary!! Xx

Lots of interesting things going on for the June Mummies at the mo, I like it! Except for you Buggy, hope everything gets sorted with the hospital, I'd definitely change in your shoes. Great news about the scan Charlie!

I had my consultant appointment today, was meant to see the chap who operated on me when I was ill and removed an ovary and tube but he was running behind so had to see someone else, was gutted really. I completely trust him and he's seen all my insides before so I don't think there's anyone better qualified to see me anyway, but oh well! I'm really happy, don't have to be consultant lead anymore, operation shouldn't cause any complications (was 2.5 years ago now anyway). Had my first fundal measurement, measuring 2 weeks behind, I'm not surprised lol but she's happy. Tried to listen on Doppler too but said she didn't like using the one she had so scanned me instead, I didn't really see anything but she said it's all good. I'm just so glad I can look forward to midwife lead care now, will hopefully have more of a say about my labour now :) xx

Ahh that's good news bethy! :)

I've been so emotional since my appointment. I always knew I could go early but hearing the Dr say I more than likely won't make 39 weeks has frightened me so I've had a few tears on the journey home! OH just took me for lunch and we discussed baby names. We finally agreed on one... It's not set in stone yet as will probably change our minds. We both like Hayden. Middle name will be William after my sick grandad and then surname Brett. Hayden William Brett :) first one we have both happily agreed on :) xx
