Morning ladies, hope you're all doing well.
PB, that sounds like a good story to tell DD one day about her slapping you mid contraction, lol. Glad you should be going home today.
I'm sure baby has engaged a bit overnight as everything down there hurts and walking upright is almost impossible until I've been up for a few minutes.
Had a call off the mil last night too. Dans sister had a stroke on Sunday. She made them promise not to tell us because she didn't want us worrying but I'm glad she changed her mind. She's lived, amazingly, with a grade 4 glioblastoma brain tumour for 5 years this month. She was initially given a median survival of 14 months, but has lived a fairly normal life for the past three years. This is a worry because they don't know if it's linked to the tumour. Her right side is affected, which means the stroke was left side of brain, where the tumour is. She's only 3 weeks away from one of those MRI's as it is so now she has to have extra bless her.
We did speak to her and she can manage one syllable words love her but is getting so frustrated. Only last month she managed to finally evict her tennant and get her house back, with plans for opening a bakery...now she's back with parents with everything up in the air again.
Dan is going up next weekend but has insisted my mum and dad stay with me as so close to due date bless him.
All Rach is worried about is upsetting us with the baby so close and if she'll still be able to hold baby and talk to it properly. Life is so cruel.
