*July 2018 Mummies*

PB, I had the whooping cough jab on Monday and was absolutely fine..never got any pain or anything so fingers crossed you won't have any issues either.
I'm so sorry you feel so rotten. X

Shep, I did hear her take a big breath in and it went off... She keeps rolling on her tummy aswell. Not gonna be able to sleep through the night now. Why she holding her breath for.

Mala it makes everything seem real once it's all up and waiting lol.

Jem, I had a feeling dd would be early and she was! You might be right.
Shep, I started at 37+5 evening and got worse over 37+6 finally came at 38 :) You know second timers are meant to be better so she might come on time! Lol.. I also think I'm a week behind my actual dates, so he could come at 36 but would be 37 in my dates. I do have a feeling he isn't gonna be as early as dd.

Idk what's wrong with health professionals this week, but I swear I could have punched the nurse doing my vaccine. She basically said the vaccine will affect me alot more than 'normal' and what it did with dd, because I have to have then close together (I waited over a year which is why I'm having it this late). Anyway I said its been over a year which she said yeah your only supposed to have it every 10 years (well WTF who has a 10 year gap between every child). I said as long as it doesn't harm the baby I can deal with the side affects. I mean WTF does she want me to do? Let my child die from a preventable illness as a newborn because I was supposed to wait longer? Honestly people fking annoying me now with comments about how close my kids are, do they think I don't know how old my daughter will be or something?! I'm 25, married and soon own my own home, we don't claim any benefits so WTF is peoples problems?! I worked my arse off before having kids 7day weeks 12 hour days to afford to do that!! Ugh seriously gonna swing for someone

In contrast, the nurse that have me mine on Monday was like, oooh, 39, will you try for a second quickly? I said yes. She said I'd need another jab for that one as well amy any other future pregnancy but it's no big deal.

Honestly, I do wonder if my being older and probably giving off a general "I dare you to fuck with me" attitude does change how I am spoken to and treated? I do think I give off the vibe of someone who just won't tolerate shit...because I won't so it obviously stops them.

In that situation PB, I would be sarcastic and say what you wrote hear like, "So it's advised to wait 10 years between children is it" in a very sarcastic tone, I just can't help myself though.

Same with Jems stupid nurse. My first thought was how the fuck can Jem notice a reduction in movement if she wasn't able to notice movement in thr first place. I can't fucking stand self righteous twats..even though I'm sure I can be one sometimes, lol.

I'm panicking that if baby goes over then he might be more than 9lb and all the cute clothes I've bought won't fit :( funny the things we worry about lol x

What sizes did you buy?? DD was over 9lbs and lasted about a month in 10lbs (first size) clothes but only from next! So a big bunch of first size clothes we bought for her is like brand new and hopefully will fit her sister for longer! x

I've got first size from Asda. I was only buying 0-3 from all the shit at the beginning telling me baby would be huge that I never imagined first size would fit him. But he's growing perfectly and shouldn't be big, but if he's late then obviously will be bigger. I think Asda first size is 9lb x

I've had this worry too! I've generally bought most things in 0-3 months but have a few baby grows that are up to 1 month. Some of her clothes might just be too big for her for the first wee while if she's a normal weight, or she might not get that much wear out of some of the cute stuff we've bought her if she's big.

Lol gg, I do say stuff but I have to be in a certain mood. Feeling really shitty today, had a few cries and feeling sorry for myself. So i was just like get on with it (I had been waiting 40 mins past appointment time anyway). Especially with feeling sick just wanted to be home.
Reminds me though, I had an argument with my MIL last week, she handed dd to someone and said I'm going to do dinner, will you be OK with her... I was literally sitting right there so I said I am here!! M was like yeah I was just saying, I was like i am her mother and I am here!!! Then I can't remember what was said never can when I'm angry but voices got raised and I just walked off and got dd her bottle. She came later and tried to say she meant she would have just had the baby back of she wasn't OK. I was like OK whatever. (no she never meant that because she was doing dinner). I said well i am able to take care of my child... She was like iknooooo I never meant that. Then hubby came.in and said well done ahahahaha. Was so proud I stuck up for myself to her. She's completely changed now.

Also jem, when I was told big baby I didn't bother buying much newborn stuff. But trust me the 0-3 will be massive be cause they fit them at 3 months old! You can get up to 10lbs from primark. They do fit bigger than a 10lbs baby tho

I would say it is good to have a selection. I found it difficult to put DD in 1st size clothes, took too much energy trying to what seemed like squeezing her in them. But 0-3 were indeed too big. But I still prefer to dress her in that then 1st size. Again, she was over 9lbs! x

Well yeah I've got mainly 0-3. But since we were told he won't actually be big, I bought some first size stuff that I've fallen in love with! Hopefully he will fit, even if for a week haha x

PB, standing up to MIL's feels amazing lol. Well done.

I've bought a selection of newborn stuff but god knows if my giant baby will fit in any of them, lol. We're going to get a few other sizes just in case, being too big doesn't matter as we'll be able to get into them eventually.

Consultant said she wasn't at all surprised I've been so uncomfortable and baby tried to move around in the scan. She said it may keep doing that but it doesn't matter with c section. Just to give myself a rest when it does as it's pushing me in all sorts of shapes, lol.

0-3 will be fine. First size may push it depending what the lbs are (and the length if baby is long) but you'll probably get into it a bit. I saw some first size in I think its Next which was like 7lbs? I was like why? Up to one month usually fits fine. Ivy could have fit in preemie stuff when she was born but she wasn't really long and her feet were huge! Xx

Ugh this pisses me off for you. I know people on full benefits with like 3/4 kids rent paid, no council tax etc etc. Don't give a fuck what people think. I really don't get the issue with having children close together though, if you can provide for them which you both clearly can. Some people plan it that way! And I would never dream of commenting on it to you! Either let it roll off you, or (if it were me) bluntly tell everyone who comments about the age gap what you think of their opinion. Fuck them.

Also what the fuck is she even talking about? I had mine with ivy, and again with this baby. Four years apart not ten and nobody batted an eyelid. If you're only supposed to have it every ten hardly anyone with a second child would be allowed to get it again?

Well done on speaking up to mil. She's an idiot. Hope you feel better hun fx you make it through the jab with no side effects xx

Haha PF says there's 6 of us on at the same time for once!

Jem probably wishful thinking haha. I thought that with this one but now I'm thinking I'm going to go over. But you never know. Xx

Mala how exciting!!!! Me and OH definitely felt the fury building the next2me. That fucker would not clip in! Turned out we were both just verrry tired and trying to clip it in in the opposite way for about an hour. Me waving the instructions shouting "Everyone on YouTube says it's easy to build!!! Read these you're going to break it!!" Then we were like "oh" Funny now lol xx

This will be me and OH next month... we suck at building things :wall2:

Same. OH stayed on the sofa the night we tried building our big 4 door wardrobe. It took hours and he ended up having to patch part of it when he snapped the bottom BECAUSE HE WONT READ INSTRUCTIONS EVER. I hate building anything together lol it's always me standing there holding the instructions telling him "no it says" while he just wings it for no fucking reason at all :wall:

Omg yous are us honestly!!! However oh askes me to read instructions just so he can tell me I am reading them wrong. The i usually end up throwing it at his face with 'you read it then!' And yeah we usually don't speak to each other that evening :D

Hahaha the lovely Ikea domestic aha. We argue then get tired and just end up laughing if we fk it up.

Shan yeah I don't understand the 10 year thing either. I think she was just being a knob tbh. Which is why I was so upset about it. I bet if these people knew how long it took to have our dd they'd stfu lol.

Haha wardrobe was from ikea too. :rotfl:

KHTW Why are men such dicks at reading instructions?!!! He'd literally rather me take a mental one than read a few pages

Exactly PB they don't know your history. If you want to have a third and a fourth literally straight after this little one so bloody be it. I still think it's wonderful how close in age your two will be. Xx
