Omg GG so exciting!!!!

I'm feeling like a terrible mum today. I AM a terrible mum today. Ended up not taking Ivy in so she missed her math club which she loves. And nursery is off Friday/Monday too. So pissed off at myself.

Our faces must have been a right picture. Had the scan first, baby is measuring at 36+4 on everything apart from stomach, which is measuring at 38+6 so I have to go back on Tuesday for the GGT just in case..had protein, leucocytes and ketones in urine as well so that's been sent off but nobody is overly worried.

Consultant was lovely and immediately agreed c section only real option then the nurse said, 27th June is 39 weeks, consultant said perfect and me and Dan must have just looked in total shock. I said, 27th June is.... and said, "your babies birthday". So bloody quick we couldn't believe it.

Just had a bitesized breakfast in Sainsbury's and off to look at baby stuff.

I will catch up with everyone later when back at home. Xxx

Yay GG that's awesome! So so soon!

I wish those of us having vaginal deliveries could magically know the date theyd come. DD keeps asking when she's coming and trying to explain I don't know for definite is proving tough

Shanivy you're not a terrible mum. If ivy is disappointed it'll be forgotten about so soon. Don't be so hard on yourself after all you've been through this pregnancy
 
Shan, don't feel bad. Your not a bad mum. A bad mum wouldn't feel bad about it. You need to look after yourself aswell.

Shep, I kinda have a date... But highly doubt he will wait till 40 weeks aha.

Feeling very very nauseous today! It's like I'm back I'm tri 1 ffs. Really dizzy to, have to go get the bloody whooping cough vaccine aswell in abit.
Dds breathing moniter alarm went off last night twice!! Never jumped up so fast in my life... She's fine obviously, IDK why it did it hubby gonna have a look at it tonight.
 
Shan, stop it! Missing one class doesn't make anyone a bad mum. You have the right to rest at home. Ivy is a big girl and I am sure she gets that x
 
Yikes PB that must have been so scary!

Your dd came at 37 weeks, is that right? If that's the case you've got an even bigger window then the rest of us. Because my DD was 11 days late I don't think for a second she'll come before 40 weeks but if she'd been born at 37 weeks I think I'd just be expecting it at anytime from then this time around

Saw midwife today, all well, baby is definitely head down so I'll take a raspberry leaf capsule tonight. She predicts baby will be a bit smaller or the same size as dd which sounds good to me. I'm just so excited now I want her here

Worst noise to wake up to!!!! Glad DD is ok. Definitely get hubby to check, the alarm going off twice with DD being ok sounds suspicious. Although it's not uncommon for kids to hold breath for long enough to activate the alarm! (our mat is set for 10s and it only went off once, DD was fine) x

Sorry you are feeling rubbish, not the best day for getting the jab x

Glad appointment went well and great news about baby being head down! Hopefully this little lady doesn't keep you waiting too long x
 
Thanks girls I just hate when she's off for reasons other than her being ill. Like me! Not the first time either. I'll feel guilty all day then get over it by the weekend. Pregnancy is shit. I want her out to be honest

KHTW mine said the same "a few weeks". I'm expecting mine 36 weeks on the dot lol like they said! xx

Shep Yay glad she's head down fx she stays that way now! How far are you now exactly, can't remember if your ticker is off or not? I'm sure midwife said to me baby is a decent size the day she sent me to hospital. I'll have to ask her tomorrow what she meant I'm sure this baby is going to be huge! Xx

PB that must have been very scary! Perhaps her monitor sensitivity needs changed? Xx

You never know Shep, this baby might surprise you and be early. Good news she's head down and hopefully she won't shift position again.

Eeek, I'm so excited as our baby stuff pack has just arrived (pram, car seat, next to me, high chair and bouncer). I'm trying to resist the urge to open it instead of waiting for hubby to get home at 9 tonight. This all feels so real now with people getting dates and all my stuff arriving.

Just you wait until you start building it all, the excitement may soon be replaced with fury lol. I am kidding of course! I wouldn't wait for hubby haha x
 
All these dates and possible dates. I think I'm gonna be pregnant forever compared to everyone else!

I can't shake the feeling that I'm gonna be early, but maybe it's wishful thinking x

Turned out we were both just verrry tired and trying to clip it in in the opposite way for about an hour. Me waving the instructions shouting "Everyone on YouTube says it's easy to build!!! Read these you're going to break it!!" Then we were like "oh" :roll: Funny now lol xx

I'm panicking that if baby goes over then he might be more than 9lb and all the cute clothes I've bought won't fit :( funny the things we worry about lol x

What sizes did you buy?? DD was over 9lbs and lasted about a month in 10lbs (first size) clothes but only from next! So a big bunch of first size clothes we bought for her is like brand new and hopefully will fit her sister for longer! x
