PB I'd say with your pregnancy it would incase it gets worse. See with Ivy that's how she started to struggle breastfeeding, because she took from the bottle and stopped taking from me. She couldn't do both. Then I just thought fk it. Ahh dunno what to do. Xx

Thanks GG and Shan. I guess you're right I need to try focus more on growing a baby haha was on the phone all morning to the housing association to tell them about how my step dad is now coming right up into my face and screaming at me and they still say without a letter stating I need to leave from either of them then they can't do anything. Tried to ask my mum again for a letter and it's clear she's not budging. It's also clear its all about her and because we are where she wants us to be then she won't help. She started going on about how special the first few months of the babys life will be and how she doesn't want to miss it. So as usual it's all about her not what's best for us or the baby... Still continuing the hunt for a private rental that's even remotely possible but nothing has turned up.

Pb (I think it was you haha) sorry I'm not sure about the tooth. I've never had any dental work done.

GG let us know how u get on, what time is your appointment? Sorry if u said already.

Also to whoever got their date it's getting crazy close isn't it!!! Xx

Also not much help on the steriliser front either. I got tommee tippee cuz it was that pack they sell and I got it in the black Friday sales for £45 and I've never seen it anywhere since for under £70 when on sale so delighted haha but I've not used it either obviously so don't even know if it's any good xx

PB I'd assume something like that could be classed as an emergency as you're pregnant. They're fussy about oral health during pregnancy. It's worth a try.

Can't help with the steriliser Shan as I got a Tommee Tippee one in a sale as well.

Ahh laura that's so exciting you've got your cot bed! All of our stuff (pram, car seat, next to me) will be arriving end of this week or start of next and I'm so excited!

A little tip for those planning on breast and bottle feeding, while most people would prefer to bottle at night and breast during the day for supply reasons it's best to do it the other way around as there's more milk making hormones released at night

It's so crazy exciting when it starts arriving! We have everything now but nothing apart from the cot bed is built. It's driving me insane as I just wanna build it all and have it done and ready! Xx

PB, go to see a dentist - you are pregnant and if the risk of infection is there, this classes as emergency to me x

Shan, we have the TT one and it worked great with DD. I am determined to try and breastfeed this time BUT if I struggle a lot or the baby is not putting enough weight on or DD1 feels left out cause the baby wants to be on the boob constantly I will switch to bottles without a second thought. I have both the sterilizer and the bottles already.

Laura, WTF?! Why would your mother not write that letter? Selfish cow if you ask me (sorry, still your mother! but come on!). Ps your baby corner is so pretty x

Shep, thanks for the tip, I had no idea! My aim is to try to breastfeed for the first few weeks and then move to combi and eventually bottles only as I'd like to share the load with hubby but I know not all babies take to combi all that well as they want the bottle all the time once they've tried it. We'll see what happens.

aw laura I love that teddy! we love dinosaurs in our house. DD spends a while "reading" a dinosaur encyclopaedia with me every lunchtime and I'm currently reading Jurassic park the novel! bed looks lovely

we have a microwave TT steriliser somewhere, I thought yesterday I should get my pump washed and sterilised again so its ready to be sterilised before use but I cant or the life of me remember where it is

I'm so worried about DD atm, I keep panicking Ive made the totally wrong choice to have another baby, I really think I need more sleep haha

Shanivy the hair removal went really well actually,got it all haha. although I was devastated at how swollen I am, my hemmeroid (that spelling looks wrong :/) is also much bigger and I'm really upset with myself for not using the cream. I did for a while but just stopped. I told myself id start looking after myself a bit better down there but then nearly cried as I realised it'll get way way worse before it gets better. fingers crossed for a 6/7lb baby this time. tmi but ive been persevering with this massage oil and I hate how tight my episiotomy scar is. in every day life id never know it was there but massaging it has me worried its just going to rip in labour. I swear in 6 weeks time I'm going to be the biggest ever mess down there

Shep, I didn't know that about BFing, I always made hubby give dd a bottle during the night cos I was just to tired from my iron levels. TBH with how sore my nipples have been and dd crawling all over me it's put me off, I'm gonna do it for a week probably just to get him my anti bodies.

LMFAO Shep, seriously think most of us are gonna be a compete mess down there. I realised that i half shaved and I had my vag out for a dr, midwife and student dr yday so I wouldn't worry ahaha.

Got a dentist appointment tomorrow, seriously is it just all receptionists that are rude?!

Also ladies with kids... My daughter has learnt what NO means, so when shes after something she can't have I'll say no in a serious tone, and she will look at me, lip will go and her eyes will water for about 30 seconds before she actually cries. I cant stand it I have to love her!! But obviously she will learn to do that to get away with stuff... Did yours do this?

I can't stop crying. Just keep going into full blown sobbing. I feel like such a failure and I've ruined the baby's life already because I was overweight before I got pregnant. I feel like if anything goes wrong with the birth or the baby then it's all going to be blamed on me and my weight. I understand that there are risks and I've always understood that, but after yesterday I just feel horrendous about myself and like I don't deserve to have a baby because I'm bigger

So anaesthetic consultant was absolutely lovely. All looks good so no worries and she was really surprised I haven't been sent for imaging.

Jem, your midwife is a dick, ignore her. My husbands aunt recently had a baby and she's a size 24+. As long as you do your best when he's here that's fine. You've grew a tiny human ... That's impressive.

Morning everyone. Some elephant had a shower at 4 am this morning and made as much noise as he could I reckon and got me up. So I'm going to be a grumpy bitch by tea time for sure

PB aw your baby is playing you haha. They all learn to do it, though I swear girls are more devious lol. She's still young, it "s cute when they're babies, wait until she's four and has a full blown attitude. Oh and glad you got that appointment! Xx

Shep I hope you've had sleep and are feeling a bit better. DD is your world right now so of course you're worried but you definitely haven't made the wrong choice. Can you imagine feeling that way about dd now? Course not, and once baby is here it will all fall into place with both of your girls.

At least cream worked, every cloud lol, I've been saying I'm swollen too, just like last time it's ridiculous! And fucking haemorrhoids. My plan was to try and sort my one out before I give birth but I don't see it happening. I was fine until I had that sickness/diarrhoea which seemed to bring it on again. Im really worried about the state I'll be in with that and tearing too. But there's only so much we can do now, these babies are coming out. Using the oil is a good thing, at least you know you did as much to prevent as possible. I've put it in my birth plan that I want help when she crowns this time, to try and go slow and maybe avoid another tear but that's all we can do hun xx

Jem I hope a night of sleep has helped you. You didn't lose weight so stop beating youself up.And you aren't going to hurt the baby at a size 18, for goodness sake women who are way bigger than that have healthy babies. And your midwife was a **** and had no right to speak to you the way she did. So don't let what she said affect you, put a complaint in, and get yourself another midwife. You've done nothing wrong and don't forget that. Honestly i don't know what that idiotic woman was thinking but she deserves at least a warning for it. My bmi was 30 at booking and I've not had any of the shit you've had xx

Laura your mums a dick for not writing you a letter! Very selfish of her, does she not realise you don't want to have the baby in her house?! I hope she's not controlling once baby comes. Cot is very cute! Xx

Shan, does OH have to take a shower in the morning? Can he not take one at night? Or at least ask him to be quiet! When I have a shower at 5.30 am I swear I am like a butterfly, nobody hears me, I never wake DD or OH up. I would be pissed!! x

Shep, there are times I feel the same, like we decided to have another one too soon and DD is not ready to share our attention with another child. And sometimes I feel bad for her. But like Shan said, once the baby is here all will fall into place. We just have to remember that the new baby has to fit in around our family life and not the other way round. All we can do is hope that we can make it work x

PB, yup this is just the beginning!!! They learn fast how to play mummy and daddy and the worst of it is that they are always so cute when doing this. My DD gives me the angelic face, the big eye-look when asking for chocolate. I just can't say no to her! Of course we do say no but it's tough! You just want to give them the world and they KNOW IT! x

Jem, sorry you are feeling this way. I hope making a complain and getting a new MW helps. And listen to what all of us are saying to you... you are not going to hurt your baby. Size 18 is not huge, I've seen bigger mammas given birth with no drama at all!!! Your little one will be just fine x

Thanks KHTW, it's crazy how fast! Yes he always takes a shower before work. I used to work Sunday mornings all the time and I was in the shower for 5 and nobody heard a peep until I was out the door. It's so irritating, especially since I just can't handle being up since 4am right now, I'm exhausted by tea time xx
