Hey, been super busy lately! Hard to catch up. Jem how rude.. I was a size 14-16 with dd and never really felt her alot, this time am a size 16-18 and feel loads. Nothing to do with weight FFS.
Also been washing all babies clothes to, am done lol. Packed my hospitals bag, I refuse to pack more then 3 days worth of stuff aha.
Had my last consultant appointment today. Baby is good and healthy, head down still. Asked him to check my vag lololol he said it's OK nothing serious, just my muscles are relaxing abit more than normal getting ready, and abit swollen so looks worse than is basically.
Oh also I'm being induced on the 7th July my due date if he hasn't arrived by then
Here's a bump pic from holiday, no where near as big as I was with dd! Was huge with her cossa the extra fluid but means I'm less likely to get GD later on again

I forgot to say baby is now head down but mw reckons it will just be flipping constantly as it did twice during the appointment but was head down at start and finish so that's what she's recorded.

Good job it doesn't matter what position your baby is in GG, so will you get your op date on Thursday?
I remember seeing midwife at 36wks with dd and she was like "great she's 2/5 engaged" then at 37wks "she's free", she was engaged again at 38 and free again at 39, it was so frustrating, I was like what's the point of checking?! Little tinker moving in and out all the time
Well I slept way better last night thank God. I was feeling so down before bed. I said to husband to prepare for me to cry for no reason which he was lovely about. I still feel a bit weepy today but don't feel like the tears are right there ready to drop. Pgp has also come bk the last few days which sucks but hey, not long left now

Lovely bump PB! Glad doc checked you over and all is fine. Nice to have a date too! I would love for my LO to arrive on the 7th July - my 5th wedding anniversary!
GG, how is the little monkey managing to still turn like that? The space in there should be limited now! I sometimes feel like she is going to crawl out through my skin!!
Nothing big to report here. Really wish my maternity leave would start now. Getting too tired and uncomfortable for 8hr work + looking after a toddler. 10 more working days....
Ps. I am so close to murdering my OH for snoring! Really don't want to give birth in prison and be a single mother so I am booking a GP appointment for him and we are both going to attend! I need to hear what the doc has to say! x

Oh KH, I feel your pain with the snoring. I've already told my hubby he's going to the doctor about it when he's on paternity leave as I can go with him too so there's no escape!

Hey ladies,
Had a little catch up over a few pages and wow a lot going on.
Some great bump pics too.
Been a busy week at work just 7 shifts left I can’t wait now!!! I’m struggling with the heat and also my hips and pelvis at night, (but a car accident 9 years ago that strained my joints on my spine and pelvis isn’t helping, even tho I was told I would never suffer and pain from it)
But really looking forward to Mat leave before little lady arrives time to relax!

KHTW you look fabulous! I'm with you on the snoring. OH got kicked out of bed last night. I'm laying there tossing and turning up and down and he's snoring away like he hadn't a care in the world. Lol fx for your OH at the doctors. I have an image of him asking " please help me stop snoring before she kills me " haha xx
Shep how did that hair removal go? No update I see lol. I've been a little bit hormonal or whatever you want to call it lately too. Had a proper breakdown last night because I had no clean or dry maternity clothes for today and all I wanted to do was go to bed not do washing. Oh didn't know what to do with himself. Ended up doing it for me and I went to bed bless him. Glad you slept last night after yesterday. It's amazing what one night of decent-ish sleep can do Xx

Bump pictures all look amazing!! I'm jealous cuz I don't even look like I have a bump, just look fat haha People are still surprised when I tell them (or more specifically my mother tells every single stranger in the street/shop assistants/passers by) that I am pregnant.
Still going insane over here, hope you are all well. Glad to hear your FIL is doing well Shan despite needing more tests done. PB glad you got checked at a dr appointment and that everything is fine and nothing is dropping out haha
I'm sorry my posts have been a bit switched off recently in responding to what is actually happening in the thread as I have hardly the mental space to take anything in and even once I do I instantly forget. I really hope I haven't come across like I don't care what is happening in your lives. Been way too much drama going on over here and then I have 2 friends from uni who have just been told by their husbands that they want divorces, one of which just had their 4th baby together and two of my best friends are going through losing a baby and a horrendous court case for divorce from an abusive partner. I think my mind is at it's limit trying to keep up with everything and try sort out my own life plus has anyone else been absolutely exhausted? I've also completely been fucking up the finger pricking and skipping it and going to get in trouble tomorrow at my appointment xx

Shep, no idea. I'm hoping so but mw said it could be week 36 that I get a date? Seeing anaesthetist at 2 today so will ask what they think.
KH, I have no idea how baby is doing it but I feel like I'm growing a contortionist. I swear it's turned upside down again or close too it as I have a huge lump sticking out the top of my right side and am getting kicks low on the left. Nothing could have prepared me for how odd it feels when then move like this.
As for your oh, great idea on the appointment! Men are crap at demanding things get done.
Mala, same for you...no escape, your oh's won't know what's hit them.
Amy, that's bollox about not getting pain. I've found a way to cope just about now but I broke my pelvis as a kid and had a horse rear over and land on my hips and pelvis five years ago and it has really come back to bite me in the as now. It's horrible pain. See if you can get to physio.

It's moved again today, I think somewhere between breech and transverse.
Laura, you have an absolute shitstorm of stuff going on so don't worry about us or how you are perceived here, we're just other friends, here for you to turn to.
Now, this might sound cold, but you can't be everything to everyone. Be a friend, but don't put or allow your friends needs above your own. You're having a baby, the single most physical and emotional transformation a woman can go through and I know you'll want to be there for others but they will be going through their issues for some time yet...your baby won't wait...it's coming soon and you need and deserve to have your focus on that.
Give yourself some breathing room.
All good here apart from feeling like baby is pushing out the side of me. Will update later after anaesthetist appointment.

Does anyone know if I should see an emergency dentist for a very cracked tooth? It's same tooth I have a filling in, it's a big gap where its cracked right down to the gum I don't know if it's past the gum.
Just worried about an infection tbh, cos before I had my wisdom teeth pulled they kept getting infected due to tiny gap food would get trapped and it was super painful. The earliest my dentist can do is 7th june :/

Meant to ask which sterilisers have you ladies went with? Anyone went with any other than tommee tippee.
I've still not bought one and I'm stumped on what to do regarding breastfeeding and bottles/steriliser. Last time having all the bottles etc in already really helped in me giving up breastfeeding in the end (after about 6 weeks) I'm not sure what to do...

Shan, we have an advent one, purely cos it was the cheapest and got a set of bottles with it. Mothercare have them for 70 atm.
But yeah i was the same having bottles and stuff just made me quit to. I BF for 2 weeks. You can always do both, bottle feed during the night and breast in day. I'm gonna try and BF again but gonna give 1 bottle a day because I worry too much it they'll be getting enough milk.
