Morning all. Just a quick message to let you know my little girl was born this morning! She came at 5.10 after a 3h labour weighing 7lb 9oz. She's perfect. Labour wentry really well, had gas and air and pethidine. She been feeding well and is now fast asleep

Thank you for the well wishes girls this is nothing against you lovely ladies but I don't feel comfortable posting a photo of her, hope you don't mind.

She's doing really well, feeding every 2.5h and then sleeping, she's having a bit of awake time now, I can't believe how alert she is. DD1 loves her! Mum said this morning when she had her that she was quiet and a bit apprehensive about the baby but over the course of the day she perked right up and couldn't wait to meet her. She's been giving her loads of kisses and cuddles it's lovely. Honestly for me having two girls really is the dream, I'm so happy

I'm tired been awake a long time now. She slept well during the day but staff kept coming in and out. Now she's not so keen on sleeping just hungry

I've only got two little grazes which is great but my God it stings when I wee!

Jem how was your appointment today?

Baby born 3.40 am . Waters broke at 1am, contractions pretty much straight away. 3 pushes and she was born and it all happened so fast. Still a bit in shock. Tore a tiny bit which I'm fuming about lol but tore along my stitch line and midwife said nothing I could have done as her head came out prefect and it was her elbow that tore me!!! Can you believe that?
