aw that's a pain jemrose. I'm hoping to get down next week and buy some birthday presents for DD, and well all the other kids in my life that have birthdays in the next 6 months haha.
well I had a great sleep last night, feeling in a much better mood. DD is watching the Jungle Book then hopefully we'll be out for a walk. poor husband is shattered after all his hours in the cold and snow this week so I think hes hoping to fit a nap in this morning so i'll try and have a long walk and give him some peace

Well my toysrus trip is off. Bloody snowing again here. OH left at 4 this morning for work and you can't see his boot prints. Ugh done with this weather!!
Bad night sleep here for everyone, I feel a cold coming on again, and my asthma is playing up with the cold so my mood today seems to be Disney villain lol. Plus I dreamt about the cruise we cancelled from February and woke up confused for a second thinking we were still going

Hello ladies. Just a quickie as hardly had chance to get on here. Weather like this means a shit ton of extra work around the farm but I'm loving it as I bloody love the snow.
Hope you are all well and Amy, hope the tablets keep working for you.
In other news, baby is being super active now. Last night I felt with my hand a few times but Dan was fast asleep. This morning though, I told him to lay his hand on my belly when it started and he felt it a few times. His face was just awash with excitement and happiness.. made me cry looking at him.
Hope you're all having a good weekend. I've closed the kitchen until Tuesday so going to enjoy a few evenings of nothing. Xx

Yeah only toys r us that sell it. It's called love you to the stars and back crib set. It's soooo cute I love it.
Told my mum and she found someone selling it brand new in packaging on ebay so she's got it for me, what a star! I wanted the cot set to match later on when we get the cot but think I'll have to settle for something different as wasn't gonna buy it yet! X

Aww Jem I saw this set it’s so cute, I got so much stuff but now I think we are finally done with the baby cave!! I cannot spend any more money on the baby as I decided would be a good idea to book a holiday for October need to pay some off it!!

nothing really to report here, bad night's sleep but that's because DD kept waking due to the cold. she always sleeps with her hands above her head then her poor little fingers are freezing (eye roll)
husband was a star last night, I decided in the morning I'd make a prawn curry, come 530 I had the onion and garlic chopped the paste made then realised I hadn't defrosted the prawns. I was annoyed at myself but husband said he could get out to the takeaway and get a curry, I askedthat if he was going to get diesel to could he get me a little bar of chocolate, the sweet heart came back with dairy milk, creme eggs, fresh chocolate eclairs and a DVD. very happy wife last night

Oh bless him. They can be awesome like that can't they. Sorry you had a bad nights sleep. Hope dd is feeling better soon.
Dan just got up to let the dogs out. First Sunday lie in we've had for a while so I'm still in bed, still on my side, waiting for him to come back in. Baby always kicks when I lie on my back before getting up so I don't want him to miss the chance to feel something again. I'm amazed at how much the intensity of the kicks increases day by day. It's bonkers.

Hi ladies!
Hope you all manage to get some bargains from Toysrus, we got a baby bath we wanted but that was a while ago (sales started more than a month ago with us, now the shop is empty!)
Not the best night of sleep either, think DD is coming down with something or maybe this is just a leftnover cough from last cold she had... you never know with them!
We went to a pet store yesterday and decided that when DD is a bit bigger she can get 2 dwarf hamsters, they are SO cute!!!!
Today been to a playcenter with friends and now chilling at home watching the snow outside.

That end bit made me giggle KH. They're a bit useless like that aren't they. Lol.
Hope dd is just a little tired and not about to be ill.
Dan and I went yesterday but honestly, got so pissed off with everyone else, we just walked out. Have decided on a few things though. The ingenuity swing and go will be bought...love it.
It's weird that all the extra kicking and movement now is actually making us both start to want to get stuff sorted. His mum has bought us a Moses basket. His mum was specifically told we don't want a Moses basket as so many of our friends have not bothered with them because they've just used the pram bit of the buggy sets they have and we don't have room for one of bloody everything. I actually wasn't that bothered but Dan has told her to take it back. He's right, we've planned what is going where and we have other options as well as the pram so a basket just won't be used. She said she's coming to stay for a couple of weeks soon to decorate the nursery for us. Dan said she's welcome to visit but leave the nursery to us. It's odd and I can't believe I'm saying it but I do feel a bit bad for her just this once. Then again...when I said that to Dan, he said, "think about it...my mum, decorating and helping with baby shopping..." he didn't even have to finish and I shuddered, lol. Have told him it's coming from a good place though so we'll have to figure something out to get her involved in a way that works for us. I love that they are getting excited now, especially his dad who is actually the only one who has asked how me and the baby are. I just wish she'd listen to her son and respect his wishes.
Anyway, I'll figure something out that will get her involved...I refuse to moan but not give opportunities to be pleasantly surprised if that makes sense.
Have had a pain in the arse day so far. The two colts (stallions) have broken a very good gate and are in with the herd, which has mares in it. Only safe option at the moment is to get the mares out but the buggers are in the farthest bloody field and walking up there a few times already on slippy snow melting ground has caused a few round ligament pain moments so am waiting for them to come back this side of the hill. Twats...sometimes I could throttle them, lol.
Dan is doing us lunch now..weird having a Sunday off but am enjoying it and still loving all the big baby kicks. Xx

Ah GG I see what you mean she just wants to be involved. But it is frustrating when people do things not according to your plan lol. Maybe her heart is in the right place, or maybe she just wants to brag for the rest of baby's life "I painted your nursery", "I did this, I did that" and has already stated the baby is "hers"

Lol GG, its nice of her to want to be involved but its your baby and me personally would want to do it. Maybe go to mothercare with her so she can buy a few clothes...mothercares are usually not around much so cant go anywhete else lmao.
Went to toys r us today, bought dd a car, mini cooper bright pink ahaha for her birthday its only one she gets in and you push arond didnt fancy one she could drive just yet. Was only 60 quid tho, got her a rocking caterpiller aswell for 39, wanted the unicorn but thought cos thos ones a boy he can have it aswell.

GG, I don't think I would want my MIL painting the nursery lol but of course, if she wants to be involved why not ask her to help with little things you really can't be bothered with (don't have time for), like washing, drying and folding all baby's clothes hahaha that's what I would gladly do
