Well I didnt plant to buy nursery furniture yet but last night someone on facebook was selling mamas and papas wardrobe and draws/changer unit in immaculate condition for £80!!! It was too good to turn down, so we are having it. We just need to get the cot to match now. Saved us a fortune thats for sure.

Think my cold is on it's way out now thank god, starting to feeling better than I did and i am starting to smell/taste food again....yippiee!!

go and see your in-laws get that over with then you can concentrate on the scan and you'll feel much better

if I'm having a boy I might go to mother care after my scan Monday.

is anyone asking for a GBS test? I was positive for it last year so asked for it at my booking appointment but I've just been reading an article about it to.

Shep do you need another if you test positive once? I had a strep test with dd when I had tonsillitis. I always thought it was for strep B but I've been reading and I'm not sure now. I was only swabbed at the back of my throat. What did they say at your booking when you asked? xx

she said she'd swap me at 32 weeks I think. it's one of those things where I can't understand why they don't automatically swap all women

I would love to start planning a nursery, but still in our one bed flat. Finally something came up on the council bidding website today in our area that we were a match for, so done a bid now got to wait a week to see. But we are position 4 which is good

Fx Jem for that bid. I didn't have a room for Dd when she was first born. We were privately renting a one bed bungalow. I know it's annoying but we got got quite a lot of clever ideas from ikea for DDs part of the room lol xx

KHTW, I'm the same, I want to know the gender to take advantage of the sales for clothes! My scan isn't until the start of March though Seems like such a long time to wait!

You guys are getting some great bargains. We only started looking for baby stuff at the weekend as my aunt, uncle and gran were over visiting for a few days so suggested going to a baby shop out of interest (they were adamant they wanted to buy the pram). I went in with not many expectations as I hadn't really looked at anything and ended up coming out with a two-piece pram, car seat, next to me crib, high chair, baby bath, bouncer and breastfeeding pillow in a January sale bundle that was €500 cheaper than it should have been. Feeling a lot calmer about baby stuff now. I was starting to feel overwhelmed with our house move and that it wasn't giving us any time for anything else.

My back is so so so painful today I'm walking (waddling) and everything is so stiff. Just ordered a bump support band and hoping it might help. Can imagine things just getting worse as I get bigger lol.

How is everyone else doing with back pain or general aches and pains?? x

Ouch! That's not good x

I am ok but got a funny pain in my hip a couple of times this week. It goes away as fast as it comes but it is bloody painful x

I'm literally aching so much today, first time I've had any problem with my back. Had weird tingling in my left hip since day 1 near enough, but that's all. Not keen on the back pain haha x
