Yay due date buddies haha mine isn't until 18th March or something awful. I'm so confused. If we have the same due date how are u 15 weeks and me just 14...and how are our scans so far apart. I need to go recalculate hahaha xx

Lol so if you're 14 w 1 day for instance, that means you have completed 14 full weeks plus a day so you are in your 15th week of pregnancy. Like my app tells me I'm 14+1... But it says currently IN week 15. My app gives me the option of showing me "current week" ie. Week 15 or "completed week" which would be week 14- ie old news to me!

Also it just makes me feel better that time is ticking on... Cuz I still feel like this pregnancy is going slow.

Anyone else feel like the baby is putting serious pressure on their bladder... I thought second trimester that's supposed to lessen! I'm running to the toilet more than ever and I can't tell if it's going to be a dribble or a bucketful. I feel like an incontinent old lady omg.[/QUOTE]

See I think that I see it as completed 13 weeks and I'm 1 day into my 14th week? Haha I'm losing the plot!

I'm definitely peeing like 7 times per night it's getting ridiculous and I'm exhausted. I actually cried last night cuz I'm a hormonal mess and my poor oh was so alarmed and I was blubbering about how I'd just peed and then I got into bed and got comfortable and needed to pee again so instead of just peeing like a normal person and getting on with it I had like a 10 min cry in the hope that the liquid would go through my eyes and I'd pee less hahaha xx

We are all getting there, aren't we? Happy times!!

We have a nice day here for a change and I managed a 15min power walk during my short lunch break. Feeling rather refreshed now :D

The weeing thing is really annoying. I don't drink after 9pm and go to bed about midnight. I got so fed up of weeing, getting comfy on the sofa or in bed and needing to get up again within 10 minutes that I've started to just sit on the loo for 10 minutes and wait for a second wee, lol.

I definitely feel pregnant now. Am constantly aware of the bump in my belly, am feeling loads of flutters today when this past week I've only really felt them at night.

It so weird how quickly our and their bodies can change.

Sorry everyone I've been so busy with driving around to hospital and midwife appointments alongside a horrible cold, that I've been rubbish with catching up!!

Heard baby's heartbeat today and I'm so in love, it was the best sound I've ever heard. Heard lots of thumping about too which the midwife said means baby is very active and she had to follow baby around to hear the heartbeat properly. Sounded like a horse galloping!

She checked my blood results and said that my Hb is an amazing level and means I must have a very healthy diet, (which I wish I knew yesterday so I could have shoved it in the consultant's face!!) She also said that she didn't understand why I had the consultant appointment yesterday as it should be at the 20 week scan, but oh well! Done now lol.

Honestly feel amazing today having heard the heartbeat :D and knowing that my bloods are reflecting how well I'm trying to eat.

Come back into work and apparently my manager has been moaning about me not being here again (well it's antenatal appointments which I'm entitled to go to by law, and she had written proof of them!!! so what she has to moan about I don't know) .. funnily enough, nothing said to my face. I mentioned to my midwife about work and she referred me to acas.org.uk website and said to check on there to keep up to date with my rights and to be careful not to let them stress me out too much. She doesn't agree with how work is treating me at all.

Hope everyone is okay, I hope I'll get a chance to catch up on the thread at some point, let me know if I've missed anything exciting or important! x

Hey I have a question about this too, as its confusing me haha!!

Have to see the midwife when I'm 16 weeks, so I have booked in for 7th Feb, on this date I will be 16 + 4, is that going to be ok or should I have booked it for the week before?

Something so simple and im confused!

Hey Sarah I am 16+4 today and saw my midwife today. So it's completely fine :) xx

Haha thanks I started to think sugar have I left it late.

Hope everyone is well, I've been mega busy and not really had the chance to come on and read everyone post, so please don't think I'm being rude :) x

Sarah, with dd I didn't have my 16w appointment till 18 weeks it's fine lol x

Been trying to ring hospital for ages about my GTT results. :/ no answer. They said call after 2pm on Thursday just keeps ringing. I'm unsure if it's only Thursdays I can call so may have to wait till next Thursday. Ffs

Sarah same as everyone else. My appointment is tomorrow and I'm over 17 weeks it's not a problem xx

Yep, my 16w mw appointment was today and I'm 17+1 So really, don't worry about it!

Hope your appointment went well GG?

Yeah, it was fab. Strong heart beat for baby who kept moving, great blood pressure for me. All good. I'm a little in live with how amazing my midwife is and she was absolutely thrilled with my Down's, Edward's and results. Said they're superb numbers even for young mums so at 39, she's really pleased for me.

I only had downs test AGIAN. They never said it would only be that test otherwise I would have demanded another dating scan. Got my results this morning 1 in 100000 dd was only 1 in 10000 :s
Gtt finally got back to me and it's all normal yayay I can have bday cake on my birthday haha having a meal this weekend for it with family then hubby taking me out on my birthday day so lots of unhealthyness lol

YAY for the results and the impending indulgence, :)

Midwife appt went good, heard nice and steady hearbeat, was told risk results came back low and was handed loads of leaflets again incl. An order form for the babybox thing and won't see her again until week 24. Can't wait to see this little rascal on the 3rd!

KHTW yay for hearing baby's heartbeat glad the appointment went well. Ooh wonder if I'll get my baby box form totally forgot about that xx

PB wouldn't worry too much about tests anyway. Your chances are so so low. And they can do the others at the 20 week. Glad gtt was normal hopefully it stays that way! If only for the cake haha xx

Jem I missed your post too. Fab news about baby's heartbeat. It's amazing hearing it for the first time ever. Agree with the midwife about your shitty work, follow through with that. I don't agree at all with their mental health/stress risk assessment results. Especially since you didn't agree either. Xx

Appointment tomorrow at 10.30, hopefully I get to hear baby too.

Think I picked my pram today too. Silvercross pioneer Brompton from mothercare in grey. Was very strange pushing a pram about again I actually can't wait to buy it

Took my mil with me because I'm a good daughter in law despite the fact she does my head in. So I showed her the one I liked and she took it down pushing it around the shop saying "Oh I like this one cause I'll have to push it when you go back to work so it needs to be light enough for me" Im like is that so? Unless you'd like to buy it, I'm afraid that's not going to be a big consideration to be fair. Nut case
