Wind and rain was insane here too. Dd has a pretty bad cough now. Must of been a temp from her cold coming on....again phoned nursery to let them know she wasn't coming in and there's a few off.

OH came in from work last night saying he felt so sick and feeling sorry for himself. As soon as he came in dd woke up in tears and ended up in my bed again. Oh slept downstairs while me and dd were up all night. To be honest I wasn't very sympathetic to him that he apparently wasn't well. He's fucking fine this morning though strangely after being so ill last night. Sorry ladies I'm actually trying not to rant lol I just need serious sleep :/

Hope the kiddies all get better soon. Roll on this bloody summer honestly xx

I get the hubby thing, mine has changed 1 nappy in 3 days ikno he works, but I have the flu, pregnant and tired! Men eh?!
I cant wait for summer ohhhh so far away lol.

I said oh you're feeling better then he went "Aye think those tablets (someone at work) gave me worked well" I went "What did you take?" Paracetamol, fking paracetamol?! Must have been some miracle paracetamol to cure him of a sickness bug eh? Lol I swear my patience is non existent today. Lying on the sofa while he's away with the biggest Asda list I think I've ever made haha. On a plus think baba is moving a bit while I'm lying here. Must be saying chill mummy don't kill my daddy before I meet him lol xx

Hahahahaha. Dan was having a moan last night about doing hay for the horses. He looked at me and instantly said, "well shit... I'm about to get put straight aren't I?"

Um YEP! I said, "before fucking Christmas you were supposed to be arranging for Jake to come and take a shit load of big bales out to the horses but have you done it yet? Have you fuck. So yes, you damn well can go out at 10pm to do it because you sat on your arse at the desk all day and just be grateful I come out and do the gates for you when you know damn well my back and leg are screwed after a night in the kitchen".

Funnily enough, he called Jake today (local farmer with a jcb and hay grab) and he'll be here in an hour to take about 30 bales of hay out to the fields, lol.

As I say often and may be the vows at our wedding...

I love him all the time, like him some of the time and tolerate him most of the time!

Sorry guys, been awol for absolutely ages - the longer you've not been on the forum, the harder it is to come back cuz I know I'll have PAGES AND PAGES to read to catch up.
Sounds exciting some of you already having your gender scans!
And some of you super organised in already getting stuff!!

I'm going back to working nights this week and hoping I'm going to cope okay.
Bought a pregnancy pillow cuz in my 15th week I'm already uncomfortable in bed! Had a growth spurt with the bump and feel MASSIVE. Also, I know it's crazy early but a few nights ago, I was half-asleep in the middle of the night, and swore I felt a little nudge in my bump, followed by this weird gliding feeling..but not felt anything since then.

Also Laura! I've got a fricking UTI as well! Awful...And I haven't had one since I was a child. This pregnancy lark does just change so much body-wise.
I'd been consistently losing weight (about 4 kg total) until this week, where it looks like I'm about to go the other way now.... :S

Jem have you sorted your mat leave out now? Staying at work until a month before ! Brave girl, although I guess (don't know your job role properly) you're not on your feet for long hours? I have quite an active job, 12.5 hour shifts, nights and weekends, and lots of annual leave to take, so I'm thinking of going off at about 33 weeks, taking 4 weeks of annual leave, and then starting my mat leave at 37 weeks. If this is how big I am at 14 weeks I don't see me being able to do CPR if need be at 8 months pregnant very comfortably or turning very large patients. Will neeed to order maternity uniforms next week, will try to upload a bump pic later!!!

P.S - I cannot WAIT for my gender scan and it feels SO FAR AWAY. 7th March!!

Men! I find it funny that a lot of them find it difficult to offer compassion when we are ill but are very quick to demand it when they have as much as snuffly nose! Same with chores, we can work our asses off doing house work on daily bases and hardly hear 'thank you' for it but if they do more than a couple of things around the house they expect a gold medal lol. Men are strange creatures

Been sat in a tiny room on my own for 15 mins waiting for the consultant to come... So bored and barely any signal too!

Go to a site like lilypie and prepare ticker (follow their instructions, it is easy). Once it's done copy the link (make sure it is an image IMG format and go to your User CP-> Edit Signature -> insert image (yellow picture with mountains) and paste the link in there. Hope this works x

There is a little paper clip-like image next to a smiley face, when you go to type a message. Click on this then go Choose File and Upload. Be sure your pic is not too large or it won't accept it x

Can I refuse consultant care?
Today was the most pointless day of my life. She came in and said so do you know the risks of high BMI? I rattled off all the stuff I knew and she went "oh well obviously you're quite knowledgeable and there's nothing else to say"
And then went on about healthy eating etc. And only allowed to gain 5kg during the pregnancy.
Got to see them again at my 20 week scan, then 28 weeks and GTT. And tbh i don't see the point in seeing them as it just seems a waste of time when I know everything they're telling me. I see the midwife tomorrow and might ask her if I can refuse further consultant appointments

Jem speak to the midwife about it tomorrow. They might prefer you consultant led further on in your pregnancy but I'm not sure how it works. I saw a consultant with dd at my 20 week scan because of my history of depression. And he decided it was unnecessary to see me again after that so that could possibly happen to you too. Depending on your gd test etc. What pathway on you on? Xx
