Anyone going for a 4d scan?

We will be but later on when baby is bigger. With DD we went at 28 weeks and it was really amazing!

So far we have gender scan booked for 3rd Feb, 20 weeks scan booked for 19th Feb and another for when we are 30 weeks so may actually try for the 4d one at 26 weeks xx

I asked the woman on Sunday when was the best time and she said to come about 25/26 weeks so I'm gonna try plan the 4d for my mum coming over.

I can't wait! Also may just book a gender scan for 18 weeks lol because I really liked the clinic place. I'm afraid of them being wrong though. OHs cousin got told a boy at 16 weeks and it was a girl at her NHS scan. I'd freak out lol. Xx

Sounds like there’s a lot of colds going round right now which sucks... fingers crossed they pass quickly

Shan my due date is 10th July. Been a bit nervous this week about the anomaly scan at 20 weeks because of my diabetes... it’s well controlled but so many risks... I think now that I’m passed 12 and not worrying about miscarriagwnive swapped onto worrying about something else!

No prob Hun. Ah that's right you're type 1 right? I don't know much about it just have a friend with it since we were kids and she's been wanting to ttc for a while but isn't ready to deal with it. I hope it's going smoothly for you so far. Xx

Yeah I can totally relate - we put it off for quite a while as well and then finally thought if we don’t do it now we never will! It’s definitely tough because there’s so much to think about and you have to be soooo careful but luckily I know a few other t1s who have had kids so I know it can work out ok and they’ve been giving me tips. It means I get lots of extra scans and appointments though so that’s reassuring

That's good, it sounds like they really look after you. I'm sure it must feel scary sometimes but I'm sure everything will be fine.

That's great you have people who have been through the same thing, that in itself must be so reassuring. I never even realised pregnacy could be an issue with type 1 until my friend told me. She still loses complete control of hers so she's giving it a while. Makes perfect sense I guess. Feel free to educate us lol. Def let us know when all your extra scans are so we can give a little support! I hope you have a healthy pregnancy throughout hun xx

I really wanna join in with this thread but i feel like ive missed so much! Can i just squeeze in here? Due 2nd July and have a gender scan next mon eeeeek!!! Hows everyone feeling? I think my energy maybe coming back (temporarily ha!) I don’t feel like i want to stab pins in everyones eyes and go to bed at 2pm any more haha! Xx

Wow your scan is so soon, you'll be the first one of us to find out the gender I think. You should grab a ticker it's a hard to remember where everyone is at lol. Im having my 2nd. I'm still pretty tired and still have sickness which I didn't with dd. That's good you're feeling better though! Xx

I would have has mine early but worried about them getting kt wrong I'll be 18 weeks for mine lol.
I'm having a 4d at 30 weeks same as DD, she looked exactly the same just fatter lol.

PB I think I'll go for 18 too. Which takes me to the end of Jan. My NHS isn't until 21 weeks I just don't want to wait that long lol I'm so impatient. I still am convinced it's a boy though.

I'm convinced mines a boy to. Yeah my scan is 21 weeks aswell 23rd Feb.

She wasn't a poser in there, always had her face pressed against the placenta lol. This is the best they got, looks like how she was born tho. Like me aha!

I know, this one has been so different than with my daughter. I thought I'd fly through it! I'm sure it's a boy. Have all yours been different symptom wise?

You can get them by just clicking one of ours. Then you choose one, put your details in. Then choose forum option for the code. Just copy and paste the code that says UBB code and Bb code and paste it the into your signature. It sounds complicated buts it's really not lol. Don't feel you even have to if you don't want one though!! Xx

Yes i guess u could say im reasonably experienced �� my first 2? Had a different Dad (long story short hes an asshole who left me at 36 weeks pregnant with our second baby) so i think personally symptoms can vary with different fathers 2. Im feeling girl vibes this time round, but i was last time 2 and was wrong haha! Aww thanks for explaining it all to me but turns out as u said wasn’t as hard as I thought xx

I am definitely feeling baby tonight. No doubt about it. I didn't think I would and have been explaining away the flutters but some of these aRe undeniable. I can make it happen by pushing my belly.
Put the doppler on as well before going to bed and within seconds we got to hear a super strong, loud, fast heartbeat. It was amazing.

Yes we had 11 and 12 week scan booked in for 20 week scan (21st Feb) I don’t want to find out the genre but partner does.... dilemma!

Got woken up by the lovely sickness (good morning to you too!!! ) how people go through this and have more babies after just be mad.

Aww GG thats lovely!! I can feel baby now and then but nothing regular im excited fot daily movement! And that super fast woosh woosh woosh is the most beautiful sound right?! Our doppler ran out of battery yesterday, I find the angel sounds uses the battery really quickly! Well i thought i was big stuff last night all yeah im not tired even if it is 10pm qnd now fully regret that after being woken up by my 6 year old in the night to put her bloody blankets back on and then baby Reggie decided we should all get up at 5:40! Today i will be a mombie! Xx
