Officially in tri2 now...14+1 weeks, scary how quickly the time is flying!!

might be TMI, but is anyone else experiencing really thick white discharge?? I've just started noticing this (damn black undies) and hoping it's normal and that I don't have an infection!!

Helloooo everyone! I'm finally joining you in Tri2, as I'm 13 weeks today. We got a clean bill of health for our little one yesteday, from our harmony test. So excited, finally! We also got this beauty (below), and the news about the gender. I know the answer....anyone want to guess the sex?



Unicorn & Lou: my OH and I have also been struggling with not "feeling it" with this pregnancy, which I'm pretty sure is because we were really attached to the last and lost the baby in wk 13. I'm hoping that now we have good test results and are entering Tri2, we'll start to relax and get lost in the joy of anticipating our baby.

Bluefloral, I've had discharge but has been
Mixed with blood until recently (long story) so hard to tell the original colour but I wouldn't worry too much if it's white and doesn't smell

Hello new ladies x

I'm due 8th angie and I might be having a section a week early too.

Lovely pic Oxford I'm guessing a girl. I've been having loads of discharge too. As long as it doesn't smell foul then it's normal.

Hope you feel better soon unicorn. I feel sick when I am tired or hungry. I have started with the vitamins again and it's gave me a little more energy. Still exhausted but no longer feel like I might collapse any minute xx

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. DD2 has started crawling oh joys lol x

Bluefloral - Yes, I'm also having lots of white discharge. As others have said, as long as it's white, clear and doesn't smell strange, it's perfectly normal. But always worth mentioning these things at your next midwife or doctor's appm if it worries you.

Mel - Yup, we bit the bullet and went private. Given our last experience, it was well worth the money for us to have an early answer about trisomies, especially as it's completely at no risk to baby (unlike CVS and amnio, which carries a very small risk). We went to the Fetal Medicine Centre in London, and would recommend it. But I'm sure there are many equally good places to get the harmony done all over the UK.

Lou - Thanks for you kind words. Yes, we got the gender from the harmony, which samples baby's DNA that is present in my blood. You can choose not to know the gender with the harmony if you fancy a surprise.

I was pretty sure we were having a boy, mainly because ths is what I was told by a fortune teller who was right about me being pregnant before we knew (silly I know!) But now, comparing to Oxford's scan pic I'm thinking maybe girl as it looks very similar, what do you think? xx

I don't know unicorn, I don't know if i believe you can tell from skull etc, if i guess it's just a feeling i get lol.
I can see why you'd believe the fortune teller if she predicted your pregnancy. I honestly find that amazing.. There was a lady on here and she wasn't ovulating at all but she did an online fortune teller thing for fun. she said she'd be pregnant in whatever month and the lady sort of brushed it off and then lo and behold, she was pregnant with twins. It's amazing, especially over the internet, it can't be just luck either as she was tracking ov and temping and didn't think she had at all xxx

I don't know, I seem to have been right with every guess with everyone else so far, but I'm just not sure about my own lol.
The fortune teller thing is crazy, I went to see her about a week before af was due and we had completely given up and had an appointment at a private fertility clinic that week. She was adamant that I was pregnant and I just thought she was rubbish, but hey presto I was xx
