*~* February 2017 yummy mummies - the last trimester *~*

Congratulations little_pip, would love to hear more details when you get a chance.

For the rest of us girls I can't believe how naughty these Feb babies are, doesn't seem that anyone is having a straight forward time!

Pink bunny that's not wrong at all, you know what is best for you and your baby so go with your gut instincts and whatever is right for you.
Lura, hope your bloods come back ok, have they said what it will mean as I know you wanted a vbac but they like to get babies out earlier don't they if there is diabetes??
Babybee glad they are keeping a close eye on you must be tiring but reassuring!

I am just trying to be patient and carry on as normal so time doesn't slow down but my 17 month old is being a right mare at sleeping and with struggling to get comfortable at night then having to get up at least twice a night to her I am getting close to exhaustion!

Hey ladies, had my scan today and she's right on track still. Also got my letter through for c section.. 9th of February an have to be at hospital for 7:15 in morning. Just under two weeks away! Feeling so nervous now. My mum and dad are coming on the Wednesday, making dinners to be frozen for when I get out and sandwiches for while I'm on hospital. Then taking me and oh hospital the next morning. We all have to be up about 5 as hospital is hour away. But it looks like we got everything in place (as much as it can be anyway)

I've turned nocturnal and hate sleeping at the moment. Driving me mad!

Hope your all well xx

Kimmy i was thinking that about these babies. They are being so naughty. Hopefully when they're all born they will be the opposite....little dreams ;) Sorry tomhear your toddler is being a little monkey in the night. I remember both of mine went through this at that age. It gets better I promise!

Pinkbunny dont feel bad at all. Sometimes there is a valid reason for the baby not to turn....cord might be in the way etc. Who knows!! But dont feel bad, go with your gut instinct.

Tigeress, your parents are so lovely coming down and helping. My mum lives close and the day before will be coming round so I can chill out with my girls.

Lura, good luck today! Hopefully all is fine! Keep.us posted!

Going in for a trace today as part of my 'your baby is being a monkey so you have to be monitored constantly' treatment.

Yes babybee I have been reading into sleep regression around 17-18 months so hopefully she will settle down again soon, my hubby was very helpful last and got up with her this morning so I got a few hours of decent sleep and definitely feel better for it!

Lura I have rushed to the hospital canteen and had a yummy bacon sandwich after both my glucose tests haha, prob not the best thing but it was lovely at the time! It is good that you should have results and hopefully a plan tomorrow, fingers crossed that everything is normal or that they just monitor you closely and you still get your vbac

Tigress glad the scan was all ok and you are all set with your date and plan!

I am a little jealous of you c section girls being able to be so prepared, I am a bit of a control freak and to think my life could be turned upside down any time in like the next 5 weeks without warning is a little unsettling. I am just keeping my house tidy and next week I think I will make some freezer dinners, will give me something useful to do if nothing else!

9 more days to go until my section, finally on the home straight! I'm looking forward to not being sick nearly every day, yaaayyyy!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Im so thrilled to announce the arrival of my beautiful new daughter...baby A! Born via a semi emergency section after a dodgy long trace this morning. She's as fit as a fiddle though and weighed 7lbs 7oz!
I'll update more later when Im not so drugged up and shattered.x

Aww massive congratulations Babybee, glad you are both ok and she is a good weight despite being early. Lots of snuggles and fingers crossed for a speedy recovery! Xx

Wow congrats to the ladies with babies arrived and so sorry some of you are having a rough time. Pink bunny my first was breech and I went for the ecv but they didn't even attempt it due to engaged bum and low fluid and at my vbac Appt my notes said the cord was round her neck. You do whatever is right for you.

Well Ive had zero sleep worrying about this glucose intolerance test today and the results. 9am is my appointment. Not appealed at the thought of being starved until lunchtime either.

Congrats babybee. So thrilled for you and hope you are not too sore. What a good weight despite being early. Look forward to pictures!

Thanks Laura. I went for another scan yesterday and the sonographer said she couldn't even see the baby's bottom as it was in my pelvis so I'm not sure they would be able to turn her. I've got to see consultant on Tuesday and let them know my decision. I really don't know what to do as I think hubby thinks I want a section as it's the easy option but I'm not naive enough to believe that major surgery is the "easy option". I just feel that with the low chance of the ecv working plus the fact she has been in this position for a long time I don't want to risk distressing me and her if the chances are slim, plus then I will just worry whether she has moved back or not. Maybe I owe it to the baby to at least try to turn her, I don't know!

It's a hard decision pinkbunny. I was in the same boat, baby's bum is lodged in my pelvis and there was no budging him at all at the ECV especially as he's been in that position since at least 28 weeks
