They have decided on a c-section which will be taking place on the 9th of February, I'll be 39 weeks that day xx

I'm glad you have a plan now tigeress, planned/ elective sections are much more straightforward, you will be fine and recovery is generally quite quick these days, if yours is anything like my hospital they try get you up the same day and catheter out that night or first thing next morning and home latest 2 days post op if all goes ok.

I have a funny feeling I will be the very last Feb mummy as most of you have section dates now!

Dont worry Im not a section Kimmy Im vbac waiting for this one to appear and knowing my luck Ill be overdue so Ill likely be one of the last ones too.

I got my confirmation letter today for the 7th Feb so definitely feels more real now. Got to be at the hospital at 7am so very early start!

Thanks kimmy, I am really relieved to have a final decision so I know what's going on.. scared about the op but my partner, mum and dad are going to be there so I should be ok, (partner will be in room and mum and dad lurking lol) I'm so relieved they have put differences aside and are making he effort for me and Ruth lol. Then my stepdad and brothers and sisters will be joining at the weekend. (Which is when I'll hopefully be out) fingers crossed. But preparing to still be in so if I am out its a bonus! Just hoping everything goes well xxx

Im really scared but mainly because it's my 3rd and im terrified i have scar tissue attached to things like my bladder and they'll suddenly have to put me under general anaesthetic. Having said that my first two were fine, especially the second one as it was planned so everyone was in a really jovial mood and i could put a cd on and my husband was allowed his phone to take pics. So if all goes well the actual experience is quite nice and relaxing. You still get skin to skin too and i had no issues with breastfeeding either. So fingers crossed it'll be the same for you hun!!

Nic, so exciting, less than 2 weeks!

For those going natural, Im so jealous!! If I go into labour before the section date Id be so happy. You never know though, you may have the babies before we have the sections!xx

Im just at the hospital for monitoring as little one being a little monkey and has been very quiet for mummy today. Just gives me peace of mind. Xx

Mine has been really quiet too but my mum has flu and cant watch the girls. My husband and I have said we'll give it another 15 mins and if im still anxious then he'll come home and I'll go in.
