Thank you ladies. Still waiting at the moment they are extremely busy so there is a massive wait just to go in to be monitored.

Oh my god!! No way!! Lol. That's cheered me right up haha. How coincidental!
How are you feeling about it? I was feeling alrightish until tonight now reality is sinking in and I'm so scared! Xxx

Im really scared but mainly because it's my 3rd and im terrified i have scar tissue attached to things like my bladder and they'll suddenly have to put me under general anaesthetic. Having said that my first two were fine, especially the second one as it was planned so everyone was in a really jovial mood and i could put a cd on and my husband was allowed his phone to take pics. So if all goes well the actual experience is quite nice and relaxing. You still get skin to skin too and i had no issues with breastfeeding either. So fingers crossed it'll be the same for you hun!!

Nic, so exciting, less than 2 weeks!

For those going natural, Im so jealous!! If I go into labour before the section date Id be so happy. You never know though, you may have the babies before we have the sections!xx

Aww bless hun, I just hope it's smooth sailing for us. My cousin was out the next day so I'm hoping if all is well I will be to! It's nice to dream lol.

My family I.e mum has suddenly become abit overbearing, think it's because it's coming to the end. Her first grandchild to. Getting quite overwhelmed xx

Hope all is ok hun, which I'm sure it is.. I'm guessing you'll be there a while xx

Oh lura and babybee hope they are just being little monkeys and all is fine when on the monitor!

I am a little pissed of today, had my midwife appointment which was a complete waste of time, I had a covering midwife who said I was measuring at 32 still which would be no growth for 2 weeks then she felt baby and couldn't decide if he was even head down or where he is and then she measured again and said it's between 32 and 34 and if I didn't already have a scan booked for next week she would be sending me for one but to monitor movements and go straight if anything slows at all. I am just trying to keep calm as possible and as long as I'm happy and he keeps moving lots I will hold out until my scan and see what hospital say but I need to stay calm because last pregnancy my blood pressure started becoming raised at this stage and I am desperate to avoid induction again and being stuck to the bed and monitor the whole labour. Sorry for the long rant!

Great to hear everyone that was waiting to hear about section dates now have a clear plan. So good to have an 'end' in sight.

I also was going to go and get checked as baby movements had slowed but then he started to move about but I'll keep an eye on it. I just keeping thinking I'm being paranoid.

Feeling a lot of pressure when I walk so I'm hoping I'll be close to my due date (6th Feb), 12 days away!!! Eek! I've been bouncing away on the ball, can't handle walking too much (plus need to the loo constantly so don't want to be far from one). I have a membrane sweep booked when I'm 40 weeks and if that doesn't work then another sweep at 41 weeks and if that doesn't do it then then I'll be booked to be induced by 18th Feb!!! Really really don't want to be waiting until then.

Kimmy don't stress out, I find I get contradicting advice and measurements each time as I see a midwife as I see 3 different midwives. Just make sure they book you in for a growth scan as that will answer a lot of questions and take the stress away. I've had two growth scans and they made me feel much better as I had confirmation all was ok.

Thank ladies for your responses!

Was at the hospital for nearly 5 hours in total. Doctor was happy with trace and babies movements picked up when I was there. If I have anymore reduced movements then got to go straight back and will need closer monitoring.
Still got glucose (sugar) in my urine too so they have took blood from me to test the sugar levels in my blood and going to speak to the Diabetic Nurse today to see if want to do anything... apart from that all good!

Sheena, the scan on 3rd will be my 3rd growth scan with this baby, 1st showed he was small, 2nd that he had grown too much and had to have diabetes tests and things and then this will be the repeat/ follow up scan, it seems that they don't have a clue.

I have adopted the idea that he will be whatever he is big or small and will arrive when he is ready I don't want much intervention this time if I can have him safely without, I would rather not be having the scans and things but then I would never forgive myself if anything went wrong that could have been picked up.

Glad all was ok lura and hope the glucose in urine turns out to be nothing.

Glad everything ok hun xxx

I'm having my glucose test next week and I'm not looking forward to it. Even though she will be here the following Thursday! Xxx

Hi ladies, just back from midwife. Have to go for a presentation scan tomorrow as they think baby is breech, even though she found her heartbeat from low down and all her hiccups are felt low down. I'm hoping it's just precautionary. I was hoping to find her part engaged at least so I'm a little bit disappointed if I'm honest, but at long as she's healthy and happy then I shouldn't complain! Have to see what the scan shows. Good news is that my iron loss has slowed right down so I'm only just classed as anaemic now, which is good.

So glad iron is looking up hun, and I hope you get some answers tomorrow about her positioning. Baby is 3/5 engaged so I was very surprised when they said that.. I'm sure she's on her way hun. Hope your scan goes well and let us know when you get min xxx

Hi all,

I haven't written for a while. Was planning to do so once my maternity leave started but just 2 days into it, my water broke and the baby arrived.... 3 w+5 early but everything going well so far. Hopefully we'll be able to leave the hospital tomorrow and start our new lives!

Best to you girls- a safe and hopefully not too painful labour for everyone!

Massive congratulations Little Pip!! Such lovely news.
Kimmy I hope everything is ok with the growth scan!
Pinkbunny how was the scan today? Was the baby breech?
Lura, so glad all was well on the monitor!

Im not getting much sleep either but today weve had such a chilled day its been lovely! Ive been in for montoring every other day and need to do this till the section in 2 weeks. Exhausting! But im relieved in a way.

I hope you're all doing well ladies! Its almost Feb!xx

Hi ladies, so it turns out little madam is breech. What I have thought was her bottom for the last few weeks is actually her head! I've got to go back in for a full scan tomorrow and see the consultant. They are saying depending on where her legs are they could try and turn her or I could go for an elective section. I don't really know if I want them to try and turn her to be honest as I don't want to stress her out and she has been in that position for weeks so chances are it wouldn't work anyway. I'm really not sure what to do. Would it be wrong of me not to try the turning procedure? Xx

Oooh just had a call from Pregnancy assessment Unit as i had to have repeat blood tests the other day as was still getting glucose (sugar) in my urine and my blood sugars have come back raised so got to have go have the full diabetes test on Sunday morning to see if Ive got gestational diabetes. They want to get it done asap giving Im 37 weeks now.
