Wow ROM! That's incredible. Congratulations!

I will re-test again on Thursday if no AF tomorrow.... If I can help myself not testing tomorrow...

Good luck for thursday Sookie, I really hope you have a bfp!!

Thank you ladies!!!! I will be chanting all day tomorrow:

Hey hey, ho ho, bloody AF, STAY AWAY!!!

CONGRATULATIONS Tasha! I am made up for you! :cheer:

ROM - :cheer: on the weightloss! You star!

Sookie - Your chart looks fabulous and I pray you'll get your BFP!

kmac - At least the forms are done now

We were referred to the Infertility clinic by my gynae - he used to be Rich's boss and as he's my gynae anyway he said we should just start going to his clinic!

I have been up in Leeds today as Rich had a meeting! I spent a lazy day reading a book in a cafe and then sat outside with a book, overlooking the canal!

Hope everyone is doing ok

Morning Ladies,

Well my temp dropped a bit this morning. It's still way above the coverline but it was enough for FF to take away my possibility of a triphasic chart :(

I'm feeling much less positive now. BFPs only seem like things that happen to other women, not me. I am expecting AF to arrive later today :(

I hope that I am wrong.

  Sookie please dont give up hope - you are still in until AF shows her awful face

just a quick one to say good luck sookie i really hope you get a bfp

Hi all!

wow, what a lot's been going on. Congratulations to tasha, and bloomin' 'eck to rach!

well done to ROM, too. And FX for everyone in the 2ww, espec Sookie!

I've not been on much (as you probably noticed), firstly because we weren't trying last month because of DH's op (he's now fully recovered, thanks everyone for the good wishes) but secondly because I've been feeling really pissed off about the whole TTC thing and just wanted to give myself a complete break. I got my period on 23 April, so we thought we might be able to try in May but I wasn't sure about the timing. Anyway, it turns out we didn't get the chance - when I started using OPKs on CD9, they were almost + and the CBEFM was high. On CD10, my temp rocketed and I realised I'd ov'ed really early. Not a hope in hell of having conceived - we'd last BD'ed 2 months before. Then to top it all off, I had an 8-day LP - so a 17-day cycle. WTF? I know that's not after-effects of a chem pg or anything, so all I can assume is that my hormones are way out of whack, despite all the tests being normal.

Anyway, tbh, I was feeling really depressed at getting a second period 2 weeks after the first (not so much because of the lack of conception, but you know, a week of period pain and tampons and sh*t, then a normal week, then cramps and bleeding all over again - it's just bloody miserable...) and I didn't really want to think about whether my body is so screwed we'll never conceive. So I stayed off here.

I have an appt with the doctor on Friday. I probably won't come back on till after that as I have nothing to say and will just make everyone else miserable too. But hopefully it'll be back to business as usual soon...

So, when I come back on Friday I hope to see a BFP from Sookie! And good luck for the 10k on Sunday, Trudy - I'm so sorry, I had completely forgotten. It looks like it'll be fine weather and not too hot - perfect for you!

ps email and everything now running fine too. It took some sorting out though!

 Sookie it is not over till the af witch arrives! I really hope you get your bfp

Aww sorry to hear what your going through Kittykins :( what a nightmare, I hope the Doc can shed some more light for you

Hope everyone else is well

well ladies I cant believe it - I've been feeling rough all day, thought it may be the diet sort of shaky and spaced out. Just been to the loo and it looks as if AF may actually be here!!! CD122 - about time too :cheer: that means I will be CD 7 when I go to the clinic which I think will be better as atleast they can do tests at the beginning of my cycle!! Watch me speak to soon!! I am not going to mark FF until it is proper flow - it is still just spotting but looking good :cheer: :cheer:

Just saw these posts and wanted to say Thank God Rom!!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: I'm so pleased for you. Hopefully your body is back on track. Since you were regular before you might just get back to normal by yourself now.

Kitty -   What a nightmare. It must be awful for you. I hope the doc can help. Nice to have you back though. Although if I don't get my BFP I might be making an exit for a while. I've had enough :(

Anyway, hopefully I will be leaving with a BFP instead of a BFN. Still no AF yet...

oh my goodness ROM, I had no idea you were still waiting! So here we are again... though wasn't it last November you were spotting/bleeding all the time and I was having the longest cycle ever (well, for me - not a patch on your 122 days though)?! You'd think between the two of us we could sort it out...

Sookie - I have my fingers crossed so hard for you they're hurting!

And Tash - I didn't give you any little cheering dancing things, so here they are now:

      :cheer: :cheer:

I whizzed through all the posts without checking the dates and by the time I got to the end, I thought your BFP must be really old news - but I've just seen your ticker and realised it must be very recent!

Hi guys  Im really fooked off cos I just typed a massive message, got to the end and the stupid PC decided to go mental and lose everything I wrote, argh! :x

Anyway, this is what I was saying....

ROM - as I said in the other thread, absolutely fantastic news that AF has arrived, hopefully now you can have a fresh start. I wonder if the weight loss has anything to do with it?

Kitty - hiya lady, great to see you on here :) Sorry you are having a rubbish time, I hate it when you ovulate unexpectedly early  Hope this is just a one off. I know what you mean about taking time out from here sometimes, it can get too much to handle. Im alot more quiet on here these days.

Sookie - Please dont give up hope yet hun! I am praying that AF hasnt arrived for you. Your temp today was not that low, certainly not below the coverline, it could go up again tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Welshpolly - Best of luck at the gynae hun

Hi to everyone else, hope you are all ok

Well Ive had a wonderful day. :) Been wedding dress shopping with my Mum. Spent the afternoon half naked with some young blonde woman fondling me, DH2B wishes he was there :rotfl: Why I why do they make alot of the wedding dress samples in size 8?!! Surely there arent that many size 8 women in the world?!! It was especially hard to get into some of the dresses being as hot as today was, it was like being forced through a sticky tube! Poor assistant spent most of her time trying to pull the bloody things over my bit fat ass. I have to admit I didnt feel too elegant at the end of all that :rotfl:

However I think I have found THE DRESS. Its made by Pronovias:

Its gorgeous, vintage lace, its so ME. :cheer: It costs over £1000 but in all fairness Im not having any car hire at the wedding, our cake is being made for free, our mate is doing the photos and Ive already bought artificial flowers and my table centrepieces, so what the heck! Ill have the most beautiful dress in the world! :cheer:

Im going back to the shop next Weds to try the dress on again, as well as another dress I like that I tried on today:

http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?pageSize=64&page=1&style=J1148

and the dress that I have always loved that they are ordering in for me to see in the flesh:

http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress....&keywordType=any&page=0&pageSize=8&style=J135

Then I will get to choose which one I want! I cant wait! :cheer:

Next Weds is going to be a huge day for me, buying my wedding dress, seeing the Dr about fertility investigations and then the Champions League final!! What a day!! :? :D

No sign of ovulation for me yet, which is nice really in comparison to last months shock early ovulation. The only bad thing about longer months is that you have to have more sex, such a pity eh!

Oh my goodness Loola that dress is stunning - When we got married I decided that I wasnt going to spend much on a dress made the mistake of trying on anyone I fancied and fell in love ........... I was lucky that they sold me the sample at half price but it still cost nearly £700 then an extra £200 for my wrap but I felt like a princess and certainly dont regret one penny!! For my first wedding my gran bought my dress and so got to choose it - it was all nylon lace and I looked like a toilet roll cosie!!! I was going to sell my dress after we got married but it is still in the loft and I love it!!

 Thank you Kitty.

Wow ROM! I am glad shes here finaly for you!!!

Wow Loola that dress is gorgeous!!

 Good luck for tomorrow Sookie

Thanks ROM  I just think it is so beautiful! Id get it in a sort of antique ivory/very pale gold colour. I keep looking at your wedding dress on the chartstalkers photobucket we have, I think it is so beautiful the colour is just perfect, I think Id go for a gold dress if I was getting married in the Winter, but as it will be August I want brighter colour if you know what I mean?

I just cant wait! :cheer: There is no way Id get any even tiny baby bump on that dress, so Ive got to get preggas sharpish! Only 7 months and we will have to stop trying for a while :?

nice dress! And I love your style... is this really the woman who, just a few weeks back, was saying there was no way she was going to spend hundreds on a dress... and was delighted at the £70 dress on eBay... and then justified £400 on the 'real' version... and now can justify £1000 on the perfect one?! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: (and that isn't at all critical, just highly amused!)

I hated shopping for wedding dresses so much that I gave up. Every shop I went to, the sample was a size 14. Too big is just as bad as too small, and stuffing sponges down the back really doesn't help. I felt like crap when I looked in the mirror. I ended up going to a bridal designer and drawing a picture of what I wanted, then picking out the fabrics myself. The lace I liked didn't have quite enough pearls, so I had more hand-sewn onto the bodice to pick up my jewellery. It fitted perfectly (though the layers of net underskirt were quite stiff...). Best of all, the bodice, skirt and jacket came to £650 total, despite my choosing the most expensive raw silk and delicate lace in the fabric books. So if you have a definite idea in mind, it really is worth checking out designers and seeing how much they'll charge to make up your unique dress. If you're interested, email me and I'll send you the link to the website of the designer I used so you can get an idea.

Oh no Kitty!! You have just shown me up for the fickle girl I am! :rotfl: It is true though, I thought Id be ok wearing a cheap dress but Im really not. If Id never tried any of the designer dresses on I probably would have been fine with a cheap dress, but today I knew for sure just how different the quality is. Most people, well men wouldnt notice the difference but I really would and Id feel really self conscious and miserable on the day if I wore the cheaper version.

Anyway, Im taking over chartstalkers with wedding talk and that is no good at all!

Im really praying for Sookie at the moment  She must get her BFP tomorrow!

 for Sookie is a given Loola :D

To be honest I am sure there are a lot of us out here that are glad for a bit of light relief and there is nothing like pretty dresses to get us :D . Are you having bridesmaids? Where are you actually getting married? Did you know that Swansea Registry Office has web cams so you can watch weddings live!!!! :D
