Chart Stalkers February 2008

Loola - what's the status with your OH? Did you get him before the footie??
I thought we might be testing around the same time, but possibly not if you're not sure what's going on with ov!

Didnt get him before the footie. :( I dont think he would have done if the footie wasnt on to be honest, hes been too grumpy today. Always pick the right time to be miserable for no reason dont they! :wall: Well now that Man Utd are winning 4-0, hes a far happier man and hes promised me BDing tomorrow and Monday. I hope it wont be too late. :? I did an OPK earlier, even though I wasnt going to use them this month, but it was negative. I hope Im having a 'bit late' month to be honest as I didnt get any BDing done today. I have Monday off work too, so might get a lie in with him  I reckon Ill be testing around 1st March. Or I could wait til 2nd March which is Mothers Day  A Mothers Day BFP would be the most amazing gift ever! :cheer:

Good luck Loola hun, hopefully you'll OV a bit later than Cheri22 said.

Good luck Loola!!! Finger's crossed for you!

My bodys all over the place. I've got tender boobs, middle pains, and other stuff...no AF (which according to my chart will be in a few days) but i don't feel the same as i do when i'm about to AF. Maybe because i'm looking out for things more? My temp seems a bit low from what i've seen on other charts...but could that be because i'm not sleeping well?

Bloddy body all over the place...thought this was meant to be easy!! :wall:

And welcome AF!!! Sems I have a 10 day dpo before my period. is this normal?

GOOD MORNING LADIES.........

How are we all today.????

Firstly welcome to all the new ladies and congratulations to all those who got BFP and are moving over to first tri..........although I see someone seems to be suffering seperation anxiety :rotfl:

I am still in bed this morning as I split down the last 2 stairs onto Eeyore and there was a loud cracking sound and my ankle and knee are very tender and sore......no running for me for a few days :(

Sookie.....my temp has gone back up but not sure it will be an Implatation dip as I think we missed my OV this month, and if I think this it will stopme symptom spotting, but many thanks for looking at my chart, it still baffles me.

Morning Ladies!!
I'm so excited!! My temps are higher than they have ever been! :cheer:
I had to correct it again today as I woke up at 4.15am but even if I don't correct it it's still high enough iykwim! :D
I think I can confidently say I ov'd now, which makes me feel very relieved!
And the bonus is we bd'd at exactly the right time (I think!) so now I can start symptom spotting again!!! :cheer:
Can you tell I'm happy??! Let's hope it stays up

Hara - I think your luteal phase can be between 10-14 days, 12 is average but if it's less than 10 then you might want to try and lengthen it (is it vitamin B6 you can take? - not sure - someone will know!).

Will stalk later, am too excited to concentrate just now!

Morning ladies!

Kmac - Lovely rise there! :cheer: Its good to see a definite ovulation. Good luck that this is your last 2WW  :cheer:

Hara - A 10 day luteal phase is completely normal. Its only a bit worrying if its less than that, as your body wont have time to know what its doing and 'hold onto' the egg, hence it being the cause of alot of early miscarriages, most of which probably arent even known about. 10-16 day luteal phases are completely normal though. :D Kmac was right about the Vitamin B6 - that could increase your luteal phase if you were worried.

Gypsy - Ouch!! Hope you are not too sore hun!

Kitty - Nice dip yesterday! that it was implantation.

Kaykav - Nice to see ovulation on your chart too lady! Good luck hun :cheer:

Well I have woken up full of the joys of Spring and the most positive OPK Ive ever had! Even with FMU  so Im going to tart myself up in a bit and get back into bed  My OH promised me lovin today and tomorrow to make up for his grumpiness yesterday. We gotta catch that egg please?!! :cheer:

Im glad I booked tomorrow off work, that worked out rather nicely for some extra BDing time. Im going to Ikea with my Mum. Its going to be so hard not getting too excited about cots etc, but I will be good! I only need a magazine rack, I must not come home with a new sofa! :rotfl:

Ooh Im very excited girlies! Please let this be my month!

I've just checked my cycle and it's actually 9 days...will the b6 vitamin increase it enough?

morning all!

Ok, I've had a look at a few charts but I've now got confused as to whose is whose. And what I was looking for. So my comments are worthless!

I did see a nice rise on kaykav's, and Kmac - yes, as choklatemunky said, I meant that you'd probably ov'ed but you need 3 temps to confirm - which you now have! But hopefully now you see what I mean when I say that on the first chart, it looks like the Rocky Mountains, but then once you ov, suddenly the pattern becomes clearer.

  and commiserations to satch and Hara. Hara - I wouldn't worry about a one-off. Don't even start to get concerned about your luteal phase until you've charted for at least three months and it's less than ten days each time. You are counting Day 1 as first day of red flow, not spotting, aren't you? (I'd guess so from the M, but just checking). Personally I wouldn't bother about Vit B6 yet either, especially if you're taking a prenatal multivitamin with folic acid. If you're only taking folic acid by itself, it wouldn't do you any harm to take B6 as well, but if you're taking a multi already, you could end up taking too much...

Gypsy - hope you get better quickly!

Loola - :rotfl: at you cleaning in miniskirt and kneehighs! I think the sight of me cleaning at all would be enough to turn DH on! My DH also watched the footie - but only because he had a huge pile of ironing to get through, having not done any for a week. He does all the ironing here, it's the rule. Ten years ago, I offered to iron a shirt of his and did it so badly he hasn't let me near the iron since - smart move, eh?! Hope you catch that egg, if we don't see any posts from you for 48 hours, we'll know you're busy!

Morning all,

Well have to let you know that yesterday I finally got off my arse and did some real exercise. I went to a Rumba class at the gym! By god was it difficult. Jumping around doing Rumba like aerobics surrounded by latina women who can move parts of their bodies that I didn't even know I had  I think I looked pretty silly. But will try to get back again and start some good habits.

Hara - I hope I don't upset anyone here by having a different opinion, but I think 9 or even 10 days is a little on the short side for an LP. Kitty is right in saying that you need to see a few months before you can know for certain if it is your normal length or not. I have an LP of 11 days and take B6 to try to lengthen it. It hasn't worked though. I could up the dosage from 50mg to 100mg per day but I can't find it as a tablet on its own and am taking a B complex. So am not sure about the dosage of the other B vits. I have read though, that you can take as much as 150mg per day of B6, and that you need about 1000mg to take too much. The multis only have a very small amount in them. There are other things you can take for a short LP, like natural progesterone cream (?) I think. And I also think red raspberry is meant to help by strengthening the lining. I haven't tried this. Good luck.

Loola - hope that your OH is much more cooperative today. Moody boys! What a cheek! They should be grateful they get any at all sometimes.

Kmac - I'm glad your temp is rising. It was unfortunate you had a weird cycle on your first month of charting. That's probably why you've been stressed by it all.

Gypsy - hope your ankle heals quickly. What a pain! haha

Hi to everyone else

Hi all...thanks for your recomendations. I'm only taking folic acid at the moment, but i'm thinking of starting prenatal vits. will see. I will try not to worry about the length of LP or read up to much. Will just chart a few more then take it from there.

It's interesting all this learning how your body works isn't it?

I read this too. I did further research, and discovered that red raspberry leaf is a natural astringent and is also taken to dry up mucus from, say, a cough. So on the one hand, it might strengthen your lining, on the other, it might just dry up all your EWCM! Similarly, it's traditionally used during labour, to bring on contractions; I read that the same property can cause uterine contractions during implantation, resulting in the blastocyst failing to implant properly. In other words, you'd have to be very careful with timing. My conclusion is that if you're going to use herbal remedies, firstly check with your doctor and secondly, seek advice from a practitioner - don't try to self-medicate. I speak as someone who bought two jars of agnus castus and raspberry leaf in a moment of desperation, but was talked out of it by her GP who pointed out that the only way to be sure that there was a lining problem was by doing an u/s scan...

Sookie, it could be worse. My gym is the university one. When I do classes, I'm surrounded by a bunch of 18 year olds wearing teeny-tiny shorts and bra tops. I stick to yoga (several other older women) and spinning (mostly blokes, but I can outcycle most of the class any way - it's about the only thing in which the average 18yo girl doesn't stand a chance against me) now. I wouldn't dream of doing anything which involved co-ordination and music any more! :rotfl:

The funny thing is that I thought I was a pretty good dancer until I came here. A three year old Caribbean Colombian is probably more coordinated than me :rotfl:

Loola is noticed by her absence this evening....what can she possibly be doing! :cheer: :cheer:

LOL.....what are you talking about..what on earth could she be doing apart from chatting on here pmsl. :rotfl:

GOOD MORNING ALL!!!!!!!!!

how are we all this morning. Well FF has changed my predicted AF so I am now due Thursday and I haven't done any smptom spotting nor have I got any tests in of any kind!!!!!!!!

How many ladies did we lose in the testathon?????

ROM.........I saw on one of your posts you put you were going shopping in Birmingham. Where are you? I am Wolverhampton

I am busy getting stuff uploaded onto my website, nothing to do with pregnancy or conceiving but I would be grateful for any feedback on navigation of it etc, HONEST comments please.
If anyone would like a look it is at www.stampstash.com

So when is everyone else testing/due AF?
I have lost track!!!! :rotfl:

Good morning ladies!

Well I have to admit that most of yesterday (well from about 4pm til this morning) was spent in bed. Id say roughly 15 mins of that was spent BDing :rotfl: The rest was spent watching Sopranos. But at least I got some! Panic was starting to set in I have to admit, as he woke up in a grump again. I probably didnt help matters by announcing the second that he came downstairs that I was 'the most fertile woman in the world right now!' which he just frowned at. Apparently thats not what he wants to hear when he's hungover  I really need to learn to keep my thoughts to myself :rotfl: Anyway I decided to go to bed and watch Sopranos, his favourite programme, a lure which I knew he wouldnt be able to resist. and it worked!

Well, I dont think Ive ovulated yet. Had some twinges in my abdomen but not my normal popping feeling in one side. I did an OPK this morning and that was very faint, so negative. My temp is a bit strange today too. I woke at 6.55am so did it then and it was 97.10. I woke again at 7.35am and it was 97.36, so i corrected it and it was 97.30, so Ive gone with that. Id say from about 6am though I was sort of waking up, but not awake enough to take my temp, so that may have affected things? Probably not that much though. I still have EWCM, so I dont think its happened yet. How come on the one month Ive been chilled out and excited about TTC instead of worrying myself sick, that I ovulate later than usual?

Im off to Ikea with my Mum today! yay! :cheer: I have no money to spend though unfortunately. :(

Kitty - I meant to say, it was the cleaning that would have turned my OH one far more than the mini skirt and knee highs! Theres nothing he likes more than a woman on her hands and knees cleaning!

Hope everyone had a good weekend? Ill try and get some proper stalking done later :)

Also is it right that ovulation only shows on your chart if your temps are higher than the previous 6? They dont need to be higher than all of the temps on your chart (except AF temps) do they? I fear that my temps arent going to get higher than my days 6,7 and 8 temps :? Obviously I dont know that for sure, but it does seem like my temp will have to rise a hell of alot for the coverline to be above them.

Trudy - good luck to you in the 2WW. What meds are you on? (if you don't mind me asking...)

Don't mind at all. I was on Optrex eye drops. They were antibiotics for an eye infection.

morning all. How's it going with everyone?

Gypsy, I went through the testathon thread, but as fas as I could see it was only Chrissy from chart stalkers. :( On the other hand, it doesn't look like we lost her - yet! I'll try to look at your website later.

Well, I'm late already - how does this happen when I get up so early?! I'm going to have to start getting up at 5 if I want to be out the door by 8.30...

Trudy, hope this week is better than last!

 to everyone else, I really can't keep track of what so many people are up to, so I'm afraid I tend to reply to the most recent posts only

Have a great Monday everyone!
