*****August 2014 Mummies*****

Thanks mum2be, read article today about how it takes most new mums 4 months to feel like they've got to grips with being a mum!

Ahh I wish our hospital parking was £2.50 ours is £4.00 for up to 3 hours and then goes up by about a £1 and hour after that! We normally park about a mile away just so we only pay £2.50 at the most! Xxxx

Yeah as hospital prices go it's better than the Leeds one I used to go yo before moving. Do you park at morrisons nr the station? I was born and lived in Hereford (infact think mum and dad lived in Belmont when we were little) so lots of family still there, lovely place.

I park at the one opposite St James and it's £1 an hour. Problem is you never know how long your going to be! I put in for three hours on Monday and was only 1hr 50 mins. But if I park in the multi storey it's £1.20 an hour

Posted in Birth announcements now :) Will try catch up with all the posts soon. Hope everyone is doing well :) x

NHS Lanarkshire has free parking but even at 9 in the morning outside of visitor hours there are no spaces in the main car park at our hospital. We always end up ages away round the back. I'd rather that than paying though.

Will have a read later wenchy- just waiting to go in for CBT appt now!

When I had Ethan there was a weekly ticket for about £8......two and a half years later its now £15!! Its difficult when u go into labour and have no idea how long u need or if u r going to have to stay in etc!! X

Something else I never knew about until the other day. The hospital will lend you a car seat for £20 for around 9 months, £10 of which you get back. I thought that was a nice idea as a lot of people are struggling these days and car seats are so important.

Kaffee we normally park at bus station car park as it's the cheapest ones if I know I'll only be there about an hour I park by lidl as that 2hours free xx we only moved here in march march but I do love it here but traffic is a nightmare xxxx

So ladies I think it's fair to say this little man is not going head down!! My sister got abit freaked out when I laid down and my hemp looked like this! Xx

Happy 37 weeks coco.

Ooooh date night sounds good, where you going to go? OH wants to go to cinema to watch planet of apes, so might do that on Friday. Not very romantic!!

Still not been swimming, must go next week. haven't got any appointments, so will need things to do.

Saw MW today (well a different one to normal, she was very serious). Baby in right position and 4/5ths engaged, though I don't expect he'll be hear anytime soon! Had a chat about breastfeeding and told her I planned to try but had breast reduction about 15 years ago, she doubted I'd be able to, though encouraged me to give it a go. Till now I hadn't thought about not being able to feed. Think I'll get some pre-made bottles in just incase, any recommendations, I'm thinking aptamil?

My bump goes funny shapes too, little monkeys they are!

Absolutely exhausted today, no ironing tonight just going to sit on the sofa. I'm in charge of tea but soooooo tired and it's not an easy one to make either even though it's out of a packet. Darn those quesadillas!

We r planning to go to a place called 'just desserts'. Not sure if I've mentioned it before?! Basically lots of nice puddings and cakes! They do booze of an evening too (not that I will have any this time!).

Good re appt! Shame about the bf advice- I have no knowledge as to y u would or wouldn't b able to hun but def give it a go!
Last time we had aptimil ready made cartons as our back up. Didn't use them til nearly 6 months when I started combined feeding. We ended up switching to sma as it was a bit cheaper. Think they r all much of a muchness really! Xx

Frustrating to try replying and loosing my posts all the time, been reading it all and gutted couldn't reply.
Happy term day coco :) Zoe, little girl gets into very funny positions too, your little monkey looks comfy in there :)

Mum2b, here isn't too hot 15-18 degrees, mb 20
In the sun so not as hot at all. I hope swimming goes well, I wish it didn't make me sick. Enjoy your date on Sat, sounds lovely , don't think it won't happen for us.

Kaffee, were your nipples re-positioned? That's usually
When BF is a problem. You could buy some Cartons of milk, all brands are all much of a muchness. Even though I fed my 2 for over the year, I have Emily aptamil for toddlers til she was 3, not for any particular reason other than I decided to :/

Hope this post goes x

Hey,

Yes very hot here too mum2b. Spent the arvo in the paddling pool with Chloe which was nice so could bare to be outside just. That and a couple of ice lollies lol.

Ooh enjoy your swim, i only do aqua bumps as most the pools around here are closed 7-9 for various swim clubs etc and dont fancy going later and hubby not home before.

I too only get odd movements as opoosed to the kicks etc. Last night was horrendous, i honestly thought he was moving around the movements were so alien. You know how your used to the bum poking up on one side and legs poking etc. It all changed and i was really dizzy and feeling sick. Who knows why but i think the heat may have played a part. OH just gone to get another fan.

Sorry can't comment on the bf after reduction. But def give it ago. I took the predone bottles in my bag last time and will do the same incase i can't feed for one reason or another x

Yay you posted mummy midwife.

Woo hoo on your 37 weeks coco.

I'm just relaxing in my shorts and vest, I've started watching 'she's having a baby' on sky living. Did anyone watch it last week? It's just started at 8pm.

I've posted my baby shower pics and week 33 in my blog if anyone wants a mosey.
