*****August 2014 Mummies*****

Hi Ladies :) Home now, will get a pic up and write birth story tomoz when I have time. Just getting unpacked and settled in :) Hope everyone is doing well :) xxx

That's good mrsm re scan but not re going so dizzy and sick! I know you've got a lot on with still working and the house but do try to make time to rest too hun- u need strength and energy for labour!

Yay wenchy u r home! Hope u and Cal r doing well! Look forward to the story xx

Congrats Lanny he's lovely. Glad you're home wenchytoots.

Ended up being monitored in labour ward earlier as bubs hadn't really moved much despite lots of cold drinks and lying on my side a lot today. All good, but having Doppler scan tomorrow to check placenta function and liquor volume as this is 2nd time I've been in for reduced movements. Typically he wiggled a few times when I got there (maybe it's something about feeling in safe hands when you get there and stress levels going down)?

Anyway on sofa now and feeling some good movements. Hope everyone is doing good

Glad all is ok Kaffee! Hope the Doppler scan goes well tomorrow hun xxx

ahhhh posted birth announcment but it says a mod has to approve it 1st.....prob lost whole post now grrrrr but here is a quick piccy anyway :) x

Sorry you lost your post Wenchy. Beautiful picture though :)

Aw wenchy what a cutie :) sorry you lost your post , is so annoying but was looking forward to reDing how everything went x

My post from yesterday has disappeared again!!! How annoying!!
Has anyone seen an announcement or anything? Tbh I haven't even looked, but you'd think if there was issues we'd be told. I remember when the forum went down for days and days when I first found out I was pregnant and couldn't tell anyone!!

Yesterday I was getting really bad pains to the point that I wondered if I should get checked out. Its something I worry about as with Bradley I was in lots of pain all day long but they didn't come and go like contractions, I wasn't able to time anything, it was a constant pain. So nobody believed me and the hosp didn't think it sounded like labour so kept fobbing me off, they eventually agreed to check me out in the evening and found I was 5cm dilated!!

My Mamas & Papas delivery is due today, very excited!! :)

I have seen and heard nothing! Maybe we should all message the mods?? If they get enough msgs maybe they will realise the extent of the issue!

Lianne- I've had cramps all day long and pressure but nothing timeable- that was last week and its stopped! Hope u feel better today! Enjoy your delivery :-)

I've not noticed any problems posting but have noticed the forum is quieter.

What you waiting for from M& P Lianne? I can't wait to go pick my pram and car seat up on the 1st Aug.

I'm getting very bored at home already only working Thur, Fri and Sat this week I have just fallen asleep watching tv. But did need to cut down and next week will he different as the kids break up on Friday. So best enjoy my quiet days

Hey lovelies, hope everyone is ok.
Happy I hope the pain has improved today? Every woman labours differently so they should know better ! I
Hope you have lots of exciting stuff being delivered :)

Mum2b, it sounds so brilliant that your body is all getting ready :) although not nice to get cramps :/ has it almost been constant last few days?

Mummybear, you are lucky your kids are still at school , 2 and bit weeks in of school hols and I am feeling exhausted... Fell asleep with Emily this afternoon whilst Aaron playing /watching tv. Intended just to rest but needed up getting into deep sleep now everything is late and I need to get cooking !

Just got voice message from mw saying that they will not go on call for me until
38 weeks ... I knew that they would do that, and if I go into labour beforehand I need to go to the birth centre. Don't think so, I am not moving an inch to go anywhere after 37 weeks, so we'll see what happens.

Ah wenchy so tiny, so cute. X

Had Doppler scan this morning, everything is good, still measuring on large side. Hoping next time I go to hospital will be to give birth as fed up of going, esp as parking is £2.50 each time!

Had best friend round for lunch, we chatted for 4 hours, she's trying to decide whether to have kids or not as she has a really good job she loves working on a well known TV programme which isn't compatible with kids. Felt good helping her think through things, made me reflect on some of my own concerns, I'm starting to worry about being a mum and how I'll cope, probably all normal feelings when due date gets closer.

Waiting for OH to get home and break news to him that I've got nothing ready for tea, as forgot to defrost some food. Think he's got used to the 50s housewife mode I've been in, good to keep him on his toes in prep for when baby is here!

Good news Kaffee! Let's hope next time is when u r in labour eh?!.....Parking costs at hospitals drive me mad! It wouldn't b so bad if the money went to the hospital but usually its some private company that run the car park!!..... Think how u r feeling us completely normal hun- like u said! Its just anxiety coz of how close it all is now, hormones buzzing around etc! U will b a great mummy and in a couple of months you'll look back and feel like a pro!! Xxx

Ahh I wish our hospital parking was £2.50 ours is £4.00 for up to 3 hours and then goes up by about a £1 and hour after that! We normally park about a mile away just so we only pay £2.50 at the most! Xxxx
