We got our Doppler today and OH and I just tried it out and found bubs straight away! So reassuring

Just laid down and had a feel of my bump and could swear I can feel where baby is is that even possible at 16 weeks my bump slightly lopsided x

Morning everyone
Still full of the cold, still spiking a temp and the coughing is just really annoying, should be at work but off sick yet again! Another duvet day!

Aw mum2b, that's fantastic you got your doppler through and heard baby, now you can always check on bubs for peace of mind

Zoe, totally ! A few days ago when in bed baby was all curled up on the right side of my tummy and there was a lump there which hubby could feel too, it was very cute.

Anyone felt baby hiccuping yet? I didn't feel the other 2 until much later but felt this one already, it was really adorable

Mum2b Doppler is amazing isn't it one my friends and her husband were round the other day and they have just started trying for baby so I got mine out so they could hear! The faces was like amazement dan asks me every other day to get it out to listen xx

Oh mummy_midwife I'm glad I'm not just imagining things yeah was like a lump on left hand side stretched out! I only felt cause I said to hubby it feels like something is pushing up against my stomach making me feel uncomfortable even hubby felt baby there too and freaked him out a bit! I said what you gunna be like when you start seeing feet pushing out my tummy haha!! Xx
Hope your feeling better soon Hun I just need to sneeze and it's u comfy can't imagine what it's like having a full blown cold xx

Hi girls! I had a dream last night I felt a little foot!! I haven't really led down and had a feel tbh but I think my one likes being on my right as that's usually where the HB has been when Dr and mW gave listened and when we did last night!

Mummy_midwife I think u should c a Dr- if u have a temp that's not good and u know u should just get checked I'm still full of snot and coughing away! Feel like I will never feel well at this rate!
I'm attempting to take Ethan to plaugroup this morning coz the poor boy hasn't been in ages! Hoping it won't b too manic and he behaves!

OBEM made me cry in like the first ten mins last night! Lovely programme

Zoe, if you are imagining I am imagining too I am pretty certain it was baby though , and DH felt it too so think it's safe to say it was bubs DH has been desperate to feel baby kicking but no luck yet although baby has been dancing underneathe his hand . It feels like such a distant memory, 5 years since we last did this and it is lovely to do it again, it feels like it's our first time !

Mum2b, aw wow proper feet? I feel movement from the inside but no real movement from the outside nor can I identify body parts yet, can't wait hope you feel ok to take Ethan to playgroups and that he enjoys himself, I miss all these things of being a mummy to a tiny one, loved groups

I have spoken on the phone to duty GP and he said not to worry, to rest and if temp doesn't go in the next 2 days or goes above 38o C to go and see him.

Guys please tell me the world isn't ending just yet - my mother in law has just popped in with a baby dress and hat AND some home made soup for me- that's the same woman who was less than pleased to know we were having a baby ! Think that's her way of saying sorry for being a witch

MIL surprised me with buying baby clothes I have to say, next thing she will be knitting !!!

I have weighed myself and not lost any weight, erm I have put on 1/2 a stone I think the over eating to try keeping the nausea at bay probably compensated for the throwing up.

I will take a pic this week and upload to compare with previous one and see

Rubbish your unwell again mummy midwife
V jealous of you all hearing babies, considering getting doppler but think well i'v made it this far and movements have started though only slight flutters, hopefully won't be long till they become more regular.

Just booked gender scan for the 8th- a week on Sat at babes in the womb- thanks for recommendation !

I only got the Doppler coz of the bleeding hun.....otherwise I would have left it......if I have started getting movements I wouldn't worry about getting one xx
