******August 2014 mummies******

Ooh, meant to ask KAFFEE. if you have started your yoga classes yet? I feel better from sickness, although really poorly with this cold now... But I have taken the plunge today and will start yoga next Tuesday, looking forward to it and meeting other mums to be :) x

Not yet, I'm in the chorus for a musical next week so back to back rehearsals this week and the show next, so will start after then. Signed up for show before got pg, it's been hard work making rehearsals and working long hours and weekends, will be glad when it's over despite it being fun.

Ive signed up to a laisy daisy birthing class which does yoga as part of it, as well as regular pg yoga classes! On verge of booking nct classes too is anyone else doing them, most people say it's good for meeting other new mums in area, esp' as were moving to a different town nearby?

Had a lovely day off today to make up for weekend working, it was fab having a nap on sofa this afternoon. Wish I could have one everyday.

Congrats eryinara, sooo pleased for you. We got pg by only dtd twice, just goes to show sometimes it's quality not quantity

Oh Wow Kaffee you sound very busy, good luck with show :) I was thinking of doing aquanatal classes to but think yoga will be enough as it is difficult to fit activities around work and family, everyone who does nct love them , tbh for me is all about meeting new mums and having time to concentrate on this pregnancy and baby :) x

I'm thinking of the lazy daisy ones to see if I can meet some other mums and get some time to focus on bubs! I did nct first time and the classes were good but group didn't really hit it off! Its more relaxed than NHS class with more time to discuss stuff and a bit more fun in general xxx

The classes I will be doing are part of the parenting and pregnancy centre which is a charity amazing for parent resources like antenatal classes, baby massage, baby groups, partner classes etc , they are fab! After each class we get 45 minutes to get to know each other over tea and cakes and there is a midwife there to answer any pregnancy questions. They cost £45 for a 5 week block which is ok I think, I am looking forward to it :)

Lazy daisy sounds like my type of exercise classes lol xxx

I've kept friends from both NCT and Lazy Daisy, so I'd recommend both. Some of the stuff in NCT you have to take with a pinch of salt, they have very set ideas about drugs in labour, etc, but it was excellent for getting to know other mummies and daddies to be :) xx

My date is now the 29th August ...prone to change again but thats what I'm sticking with!

Welcome girls :) lottielou I only had heartburn a couple of times with my 1st and couldn't sleep, I was sitting up in bed all night :( hope it goes soon!

Mum2b, I am looking forward to the classes!

Zoe, you will make lots of bump friends as pregnancy really does break the ice, I know it is daunting but I am sure you'll meet lots of other mums x
