Hi everyone, been too busy with work to check the forum lately. Hope everyone feels better and has a sick free Sunday. Looking forward to hearing your results later mummy midwife.

I'm coming round to the idea of finding out sex, OH thinks he'd start to bond with bubs earlier if he knows and the mature side of me thought "it's his baby too", it's not all about what I want.

Got tomorrow off to make up for working last and this weekend looking forward to getting on top of things and buying some more maternity clothes, esp knickers as all getting a but small think my bum is growing a lot!

kaffee i had a browse for matwear yesterday on tinterwebs asos had so much awesome stuff. Cant wait to splurge. Enjoy!!

Feeling a little better today and thankfully the bleed is slowing and the pain has bogged off

Hi purple socks I know how u feel 15 weeks for me and still going strong my meds help a little bit but still sick every day I hate it it really gets me down. R u onany meds?

Hi girls! ....Been in hospital again this morning as more bleeding overnight :-/
Thankfully we had a scan and baby was wriggling and saw heart beating away! They had a good look down below and have said I have a cervical ectropian which is causing the bleeding......I think its basically an area of the cervix where the cells become susceptible to trauma and bleed easily. Been told if its more than spotting and pains r bad to see someone if just spotting it should be OK. Might not settle down for a while. Feel better for a diagnosis but she did say no guarantees re miscarriage and I can't help but worry!

We women don't half have a lot to worry about. Worry that you can't get preg then when you do worry somethings going wrong then the baby's born that's a while lot more worry! Lol. And everyone around you starts doing Micheal winner impersonations "calm down calm down" (I think that's the right guy lol) wake me up when it's over lol!

Tell me about it! I know people mean well but telling me lots of people bleed all the way through pregnancy and baby is fine- for me, doesn't help! This is hard enough each time it happens without thinking it will go on for another 23 weeks!..... I know people r only trying to help tho. Its just so hard xx

Thanks everyone. I'm barely functioning with nausea at the moment. Daughter and I are on our 4th film of the day as I can't get off the sofa. Miserable miserable sickness. Yes I'm medicated but nothing seems to work much.

Hello girls ! Thank you so much for well wishes

We are absolutely over the moon to know we are having a baby GIRL!
My 2 children were so hoping for a girl and they have been jumping for joy since scan. DH has such a cute grin at the moment, we're delighted.

She was very active so we struggled to get good pictures but they had a shot and have attached to this post!

Now I can keep all my little girls clothes, shoes and toys! I am going on a massive shopping shopping spree after 20 weeks scan and my world now will be pink when shopping !!!!!!!

The clinic was fantastic as always, measured baby, looked at placenta etc and all is as it should be.

A very happy family we are !


I am chocked with cold and not slept a wink in 24h so in bed ready for a sleep , thank you all for the support, you are amazing xxxxx

Ps I have felt baby hiccuping 2 days ago, it was adorable

Mummy midwife!! Wow that's lovely news!! I really want a gender scan now but locally they won't do it before 18 weeks and my anatomy scan is at 20weeks so seems silly to pay £75 just for 2 weeks early! Congratulations to you all

Mum2be sorry to hear you're bleeding again, must be so worrying. Hope it clears up soon, good that you've had it diagnosed though.

Went to mothercare today got some clothes to start baby yoga in a few weeks, but spent more on bubs. Now thinking some of them won't be suitable for a summer baby, esp if it was as hot as last year. Going to stop for now and make a plan on what we need to buy rather than randomly buying things I like.
