Well I’m not sure if I’m out or not. I always start spotting 7 DPO even though my period is another week away. Hence why I need to get that SIS procedure done. I just kind of wonder if it’s not a polyp. Either way it’s always disheartening to see it. Every single month like clock work. I just wonder if it makes me immediately infertile

Yep I wouldn’t count yourself out yet! Ditch the clearblues! All they do is cause stress! Get yourself red dye. Pee on one tomorrow, one on Sunday and one on Tuesday. That’s what I’d do to see line progression on one brand. All with FMU. All 2 days apart to give the hormone time to build xxx

It’s usually very light. But enough to drive you crazy. The rest of my cycle is like clockwork..including the spotting. My doc does not seem concerned about progesterone, though we’ve never done lab work. All other tests negative and normal. Just need to see if I have polyps. And the she said “it might just be you”...k that’s great. But what about fertility?! Anyone else deal with this?

I hounded my doctor until they referred us to the fertility specialists! Literally phone ag your lowest moments when you’re crying your eyes out until they take you seriously!! My doctor at one point told me ‘you know covid is happening and there are worse issues going on in this world!’ I hung up on her and she phoned me back apologising! A few more times of me in hysterics did the trick and now I’m working with assisted conception unit instead of my GP!

yes there are other issues in the world. But that doesn’t take away the pain we are all experiencing trying to conceive xx

@Littleperson yes there are but I think our feelings are valid. This is MY life after all. I have found several forums that discuss this and I have read twice now “I wonder how many women experience this, but get pregnant so they don’t bother to inquire on a forum”. I hold on to that. I also read that every single doctor blows it off like it’s not a big deal...I feel like I have to hold on to that too. Maybe I’m getting too worked up over something possibly so small. It’s only been 3 months for me. Never tried before now. I should relax. But I’m also 33 next month.

33 is still young! You’ve got plenty of time! But I would definitely hound them for a scan just based on the spotting. Say you’re in pain each month. This won’t be done through fertility specialists as it’s so soon in your trying to conceive journey but will be done just as a general health check scan to rule out pcos etc xxx

@Littleperson im all set up for a scan feb 16th. All of my other scans have been perfect. But this scan takes a deeper look. There’s just a big hunch this is hormonal. Honestly. I had a migraine about 4dpo and I seem to be getting those more often. But the months I get migraine, I also get bad spotting. Spotting just got a lot worse this afternoon. Who the heck knows after this. I’m already so defeated and I won’t even take a test until at least Sunday. It’s just everything takes so much time to figure out. Just wonder if other people spot and still get pregnant?

I also had ewcm starting Sunday this week. Waning now, so I assume I ovulated in between. BD'd with pre-seed Friday, Sat, Sun and Tues (which is definitely a record or us!), so hoping for the best!

Question: for those of you who do OPKs AND can feel changes in your CM, when does your peak usually come relative to those changes? Like, if I felt pretty heavy CM from Sunday to Tuesday, when would I actually have ovulated?

@ThisyrinJLM i have tried keeping track of cm I don’t notice any change in run up to ovulation just during sex tmi sorry. I was certain it would have happened this month however I think my cycles are just trying to regulate my 10 year old just started her period so there’s a lot of hormones in this house lol!
They say ovulation can happen 12-36 hrs after peak x

@Caseyh, Mid-cycle spotting isn't normal and your doctor should be doing investigations as to why it's happening. Make sure you absolutely harass them until they say they're going to help you. You are entitled to health care, just like any one of us. Good luck!

@Caseyh, good luck, and don't give up hope. I'm going to be 34 in two months, ttc my first, and I worry about my age, too. But supposedly, fertility doesn't actually start declining all that much until late 30s, which is what I remind myself of when I get nervous.

Good thing that you're taking care of the spotting thing now so that if there is any issue that would interfere with fertility, doctors can address it quickly.

It’s just depressing. And everything takes SO long to figure out. I’ve been dealing with this for about 2 years now. We’ve ruled out cancers. We’re running out of possible problems here. It’s either polyps, or hormones. There’s literally nothing else. I’m not sure what I hope for more..polyps or hormones. I asked my doc about taking progesterone sup while we wait for the procedure to see if That can help rule out hormones but I felt blown off. Does anyone else know about progesterone? Pros? Cons?

Oh god I’m really trying hard not to get my hopes up but my nipples have been sensitive/sore/tingling all day! I think I’m 6dpo and negative test but that’s to be expected at this stage! I’m going to be so disappointed if this isn’t my month because I just have such a feeling that it is and I don’t often feel that way!
When I fell pregnant in 2019 (ended in miscarriage) I got my first faint positive 8dpo and the boobs were the only symptom I had then! Pleeeease let this be it!!!
