• May 2016 Mummies •

I've been having horrid BH today. Took me 45 minutes to make a 20 minute trio because I had so any walking home from doctors!

I've just took some paracetamol, gonna give it an hour and go for a bath to see if they'll ease, tmi but had to go to the bathroom twice in less than an hour for a massive clear out.
I've told baby's dad not to take his pills just yet.
Getting nippy at times now but no pattern and not lost any plug or anything so think it might ease x

I've had a clear our last few days too. I was up about 5 times in the night just for that :(

Try not to symptom
Spot because soda law will dictate that you will go overdue if you do lol

Oh exciting Emma! Hopefully next May baby making its arrival!! Xx

I'm trying to ignore the pains, just put some washing in and cleaned up to keep busy, I know that if it's labour I'll know within a few hours. My body always labours the same (well has the last 4 times) so I'm guessing it'll be the same this time whenever it happens x

On one hand is love for these pains to be labour because baby will be here and I can stop being bloody pregnant because I am so over it! But on the other I haven't built the cot yet, I haven't sorted out a lot of things regarding where to put everything, I still haven't found the baby bath and the insert for the pram.. Plus mum has her holidays all set up for May.

I'm
Also terrified of going into labour naturally incas they turn around and tell me I can't have My c-section

Sat in the hospital at the moment the consultant has sent me for a scan and madam is measuring nearly 39weeks!!! She's going to be huge!!! I'm panicking now!

How many weeks are you now? Scans are notoriously inaccurate so I wouldn't worry too much if it's just a couple of weeks ahead xx

I'm 37 Weeks or there about... it's been a stressful day :( Been at the hospital since 1:30... they just admitted me... there have been lots of tears as mum has had to go home and i have major anxiety and stuck on a bay with loads of others... Little lady hasn't moved all day =/ they've tried moving me around and just hasn't made any difference... heart is beating okay which i guess is a good thing

Well pains led to nothing although I'm pretty sure I had some during the night as I was dreaming about them if that makes sense. Had one this morning but not getting my hopes up, I still think it will be at least another week before he makes an appearance. I just keep telling myself that every niggle is my body preparing itself x

I'm sure little one will be here for cuddles before you know it! :) sending hugs

How are you Kitten? Hope you managed to get some rest and your little one is ok.

Sorry the pains fizzled out Em, your body will be brilliantly prepared though for when it does kick off making it easier hopefully.

Good luck for today babyslog, keep us posted on how ecv goes.

In terms of me, nothing to report, nada, zilch. I think May sounds like a nice month to have a baby, I think I'll wait till then... grrrrrr *taps foot impatiently*

I had a run up to the maternity unit last night. Apparently tilt ommalmoay dilated enough to be considered active Labour but I'm not - their guess is slow labour - I could have this baby tomorrow, or it could "hold out for a while".y waters are still in tact, baby has disengaged again (common with a second baby£ and baby is going nowhere so I'm home until I think I'm in
Labour again

Thanks bobkat!

My LB has woken with a 'baddy ear' so im praying hea not got an ear infection or anything! He was awake crying in pain With it lastnight.
Hes staying at his dads tonight as hes got him today while im up te hosp. So i think ill try and get a drs appointment for him JUST incase. Ill only worry!

Sorry everything fizzled out again emmam, hopefully when it does kick off properly it will be quick.
Jojo I hope baby stays put til your mum is here and section date. Hope Luke feels better soon.
Babyslog good luck with you ecv today, I really hope it works. Hope Noah feels better soon.

I'm in alot of pain today after walking the nursery run today. So glad I have my car back today. Filling in a form today to reserve a space at the nursery for James in Sept when he turns 2! Just 2 mornings a week so I can have one on one time with the new little one xx

Oh my mum loves about 2 minutes drive from me lol but she has a really busy job and I don't want her to have to move her holiday to help me after my section.

Oh right lol I knew there was a reason for baby needing to wait. Definitely not easy to move holiday around at short notice especially if she is so busy. xx

I don't feel right today, I can't explain it properly but I feel uneasy, Logan feels ridiculously low, I'm sure his head is pressing on my cervix. Usually after the school run I sit and have a coffee but I've already stripped all the beds, got a load of washing in and another ready to go in, kitchen cleaned, bins emptied etc, that's in between toilet trips and picking toys up in the boys room-oh and finally moving the younger 2's overnight stuff out the wash basket ready to iron.

She's a registered care manager and contingency area manager for a nursing care company so baby coming when it's planned would be handy for her not to have to get cover. Mind she's odd next Friday to take me to my pre-op, then the weekend and Monday after is a bank holiday, then she's taken that week off to help with babysitting in case I'm not out Thursday like planned and felt thee wA no point going in for one day. It's not as if they don't owe her time. She is supposed to work 9-5 but works basically 8-7pm every day then brings work home and is on call so she works plenty.

So baby needs to stay put til next Friday at the earliest then! I bet being a care manager she is really busy especially working all those hours. Sounds a bit hectic for me lol

Emmam you have done loads this morning. Maybe your getting everything you need in check to feel relaxed enough for baby to come. Really hope things pick up for you soon xx
